440 Heaven Grade Golems
Compass Carburettor placed the new—mutated—Blood Vitality Grass in the storage bracelet before gazing at the four fifty-metre-tall golems standing near him all along in silence.
He looked into the mind of the first, going through the memories slowly as he spent another day in this process, eventually understanding everything. The information could be summarised as:
The Folkan Secret Realm would allure greedy cultivators every hundred years. And among them, those that died here were used as fuel in various places.
First was the creation of the Essence Beasts. Though in this case, they were used to birth sentience in them.
Their memories would be transferred to the Temperate Refinement Zone, allowing the cultivators training there to tap into that experience trove and achieve greater training results in the form of constant enlightenment.
As for their mind and soul, they would be trapped in the Imperial Treasury where multiple minds and souls would be broken down before being fused into a brand-new entity.
Deep in the Imperial Treasury, a place inaccessible to cultivators was where this happened, a giant cluster of mind and soul that constantly branched out, seeping into mysterious materials to grant them sentience and moving capabilities.
They were what resulted in the golems.
And everything that executed this process was a natural formation that had been in effect since its inception.
Through the clash of minds, countless information was complied like puzzles, resulting in Cultivation Techniques and Origin Arts. Part of the Origin Essence merged into the souls, resulting in pills.
And, materials that failed to become golems turned into Artifacts. This was how the golems came into being here.
The stronger the fragmented soul and mind, the stronger the resulting golem.
That was why Compass Carburettor was able to connect with the minds of the fifty-metre-tall golems, the Heaven Grade Golems. When he observed through the Earth Grade Golems, he noticed that they too had a mind of their own.
When he had entered, he was in a hurry and hence hadn't tried to sense their minds. For some reason, that thought didn't strike his mind as he assumed the golems were probably run by a formation of the sort.
But now that he realised that they all had a mind, he of course wanted to take control of them.
Compass Carburettor then gazed at the Heaven Grade Platinum Golem, observing the Cultivation Technique inside it, along with the two Heaven Grade Martial Spirits.
Having understood just what these golems were capable of, Compass Carburettor smiled, first motioning for the Bronze Golem to arrive before him.
It was a fifty-metre-tall giant. So, each of its steps was thundering, making him nervous automatically. Thankfully for him, it had already become a Sleeper Cell.
Compass Carburettor commanded it, watching it take out the sole pill that it had been hiding in its chest.
Second Source Pill!
It was pretty much one of its kind, something that couldn't be manufactured even by the best of cultivators, even those with a Heaven Grade Martial Spirit suited to pill refining. It was produced by the world itself.
Through the Bronze Golem's memories, Compass Carburettor understood its uses. Second Source Pill created a secondary dwelling for Origin Essence. And, this was in the cultivator's body itself.
The dwelling of Origin Essence for every cultivator was in their Martial Spirit. That was why when their Martial Spirit died, they lost their cultivation, turning into mortals immediately.
But by consuming this pill, they would be able to cultivate on their own, just like Origin Beasts. Though, this cultivation would be different from the cultivation of their Martial Spirit as it would be no different to an Origin Beast. And this cultivation would remain even if his Martial Spirit was killed in the future.
And once he reached the Martial Providence Stage and fused with his Martial Spirit, his foundation and potential would be limitless.
Compass Carburettor didn't hesitate and swallowed the sole Second Source Pill, slowly sensing the formation of the Origin Essence dwelling in his body. It was currently at the First Layer of the Origin Refinement Stage.
Moreover, the moment it appeared, his Blood-Vitality-Grass attribute fused into it, allowing him to wield it better. Before, it was dependent on the Origin Essence Dwelling in his Mind Frog to function. But now, it had its own dwelling, allowing him to use this ability faster.
Up next, Compass Carburettor commanded the Gold Golem, obtaining the heaven Grade Origin Art stored within. Surprisingly, it was related to the mind but was attribute-less, allowing anyone to learn it.
Origin Art—Divine Sense!
It was the cultivation world staple, a power that allowed him to probe through his surroundings, with its range and precision dependent on his cultivation.
Even Martial Providence Stage cultivators didn't have Divine Sense. At most, a rare few cultivators that fused with such rare materials might obtain a similar ability—like Zit from Grisha's Mysterious Sect. But his divine sense was only effective within his vase.
Compass Carburettor then obtained the Cultivation Technique from the Platinum Golem which was like a blank technique. The mysterious orb, upon coming into contact with his body rapidly sucked in his Origin Essence, drying him up immediately.
An hour later, it glowed with a mysterious light, shattering into particles of light that seeped into his mind, engraving itself in him. It was a cultivation technique customised for him exclusively.
Not only did it raise the circulation of Origin Essence in him, but it also allowed him to absorb and wield it faster. Using it, his cultivation would pretty much be the fastest.
Compass Carburettor then made the Platinum Golem transfer the Heaven Martial Spirit of Putrid Crocodile to the Bronze Golem, watching it place the Martial Spirit in its chest.
"Now, attack!" Compass Carburettor gave a command, watching the Bronze Golem turn around and unleash a murky mist instantly. This was their power, the reason they were extracting the Martial Spirits of Holla and Velcorn.
By keeping a Heaven Martial Spirit in their chest, they were able to wield its power. This was something only attainable by the Heaven Grade Golems. And, the reason they had only taken action now was that only Heaven Martial Spirits were suitable for them.
So, they had been waiting all along.
