392 Mysterious Sect
Misty Gorge Ruins, Mysterious Sect.
This was the Sect that Grisha had founded. As for the reason she named it the Mysterious Sect, it was because the people of the Gaider Realm had a strange attraction to the word 'Mysterious'.
In various situations, they would praise people to be mysterious, things to be mysterious, even compliment food to have mysterious spices and taste.
And hence, thanks to the secretive nature that she was operating it with, naming it the Mysterious Sect would prove fairly useful.
Currently, in the forging room of the Mysterious Sect, there was a large vase emitting flames within. The flames seemed sentient, dancing to and fro as it slowly acted upon a piece of material hovering within the vase.
The material emanated a presence similar to space. It was a precious material that had a demand vastly exceeding its supply and was seldom found.
This was the material used to forge spatial pouches. Even powerful Clans had at most a dozen spatial pouches. And for smaller Clans, it would be surprising if they had one or two spatial pouches. At most, the Clan Head would have one.
If not for the materials stored in these ancient ruins, it would have been impossible to forge the previous two storage bracelets.
Seated before the vase was a teenager, concentrating it to the limit as his body was faintly trembling due to his concentration levels exceeding what he could achieve for extended durations.
As he was the sole Artificer of the Mysterious Sect, he was pretty much overworked. Currently, he was one of the few that had already reached the Martial Origin Stage.
After all, there were suitable materials for him to fuse with in Grisha's reserve of materials, allowing him to become their Artificer.
"Huff…puff…" Right as the forging attained a certain state, Grisha appeared, panting in exhaustion as she gazed at the figure of Xuer that she had brought with her, nodding in response, "It's time."
"Are you sure you wish to change your storage bracelets? This might make it impossible to store anything else in it." Grisha warned her.
"It's fine, sister." Xuer said, "I've been thinking about it until now. And I believe this is what would help me the most."
"Alright, I won't persuade you otherwise, then." Grisha said, slowly placing her hand on the vase, emitting her space attributed Origin Essence, gazing at the Artificer, "Tell me when it's enough, Zit."
"Yes, Sect Leader." Zit, the Artificer nodded in response, "I feel the volume of the space within this storage bracelet would be a tad smaller as compared to the other two due to the change we are inserting in it."
"But it'll be suitable for me, right?" Xuer said, watching Zit nod in response.
Grisha replenished her Origin Essence using the Essence Stones from time to time, inserting her space attributed Origin Essence whenever required.
That was how they were able to create the storage bracelet with such a massive space within. As for the Clans and Sects that had spatial pouches with large spaces, they had expended a fortune to collect materials of the spatial attribute for years at a stretch.
But in their case, thanks to Grisha's space attributed Origin Essence, they could made do by using up less spatial attributed materials.
If not for that, creating one storage bracelet would have bankrupted even her and Compass Carburettor.
"It's your turn now." Zit spoke after some time, observing the bracelet that was forming within the vase. The material he fused with was called the Divine Sense Iron. It was the most sought after material for weapon smiths.
When fused with this material, the cultivator would be able to sense everything his flames come into contact with. And while refining an Artifact, they would be fully aware of the composition of the material, the attribute it contained, etc.
Their control over fire would also be exceptional.
But most of all, the Divine Sense Iron was also able to conduct Origin Essence of various attributes, allowing them to create various treasures.
After all, following Zit's words, Xuer approached the vase, placing her hand on its outer surface before emitting her ice attributed Origin Essence, watching the vase absorb everything as the colour of the flames within the vase changed.
For an Earth Martial Spirit, once the cultivator reached the Martial Origin Stage and fused with a material, they had a single chance to shape their Martial Spirit into an item accordingly to the material.
And, Zit shaped it into a vase as he felt this structure allowed him to forge Artifacts the best. As an Artificer whose job was to create Artifacts, he was glad to go with such a structure. After all, he was able to change the size of the vase, also able to widen or shrink it both horizontally and vertically.
This allowed him to cater to the creation of Artifacts of all shapes and sizes.
As the vase absorbed Xuer's ice attributed Origin Essence, Zit controlled the flames that turned blue, causing them to seep into the bracelet that was forming within, slowly adding a second attribute to it.
This was a lot harder than before where he only had to create an Artifact with a single attribute. But now, the forming bracelet had to seamlessly incorporate both the space and ice attributes.
"I need help!" Zit shouted soon after as Grisha and Xuer placed their hands on the vase, emitting their attributed Origin Essence accordingly to his instructions.
Slowly, the two Origin Essences fused into the bracelet under Zit's exceptional control, causing Xuer to gaze at him in shock, 'He's only my age, but already has a daunting level of finesse and delicacy in his fire control.'
She then gazed at Grisha, 'Just what kind of training did she subject him towards?'
Indeed, Xuer's thoughts weren't wrong. But, it also had to be known that before being rescued by her, Zit was an orphan that was on the verge of death due to hunger, with none showing him pity.
He had no purpose in life, with his death the only thing he was aware of and knew was approaching him with the passage of every day. But that was until Grisha had saved him, providing him with a sense of self and a purpose in life.
So, even though he was overworked, not once did Zit complain. Because, truth be told, he liked the fact that there were people that depended on him. This gave him endless courage to the extent he didn't even feel like he was overworked, but rather enjoyed every second of his life as a Sect member of the Mysterious Sect.
Moreover, which teenager wouldn't love to work for a grand objective in a mysterious place while acting mysterious, unknown to the regular populace?
To the Mysterious Sect that screamed of mystery, it was every teenager's dream organisation to be a part of.
