Help! I don't want to NTR the protagonist!



Lucius looked at the beautiful Camilla and could see that she picked up an exquisitely plated spaghetti dish.

Regardless of Camilla's jump scare appearance, Lucius put a smile on his face and said,

"The person I was looking for was you. I haven't seen you all day so I wanted to spend some time to at least eat together."

Hearing this, Camilla didn't say anything and had a calm expression on her face, but Lucius still managed to hear a notification

Hearing this, Lucius just smirked secretly.

'So you're happy Huh?'

Looking at Camilla that still managed to keep a serious expression whilst secretly jumping inside, Lucius chuckled

In a way, it was kind of cute.

Hearing Lucius's laughter, Camilla turned around, confused.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, it's nothing." Replied Lucius with a smile causing Camilla to tilt her head in confusion.

Regardless of the little episode, the two of them headed to a rather empty part of the dining hall.

"Young leader, I heard you had an incident earlier today" Said Camilla

"Incident?" Questioned Lucius

"Yes, in my class they said a student with black hair and red eyes had a duel with another student. After asking around I found the student's name was Lucius and knew that the person must be you, Young leader."

Hearing this Lucius was a little surprised.

The news had actually spread so quickly.

He remembered it had only been 1 period since his duel with Xander so he was a little shocked to find out that news had spread so fast.

Lucius simply underestimated the boredom of these new students.

In an age where the internet and social media simply didn't exist. Most people's life consisted of simply training and work only a few Lucius's nobles could afford to hold extravagant balls. For most average people, the best sort of entertainment would be local gossip, and what better gossip was there for this group of academy students than a duel on this first day!

"There was indeed an incident." Said Lucius

"Remember the kid with turquoise hair from yesterday? Well, it was him again. Whatever happened yesterday was enough to piss him off enough to the point where he tried to target me again today."

"So he's personally targeting you young leader?" questioned Camilla

"Should I deal with him…. Permanently…"

Even though he knew it wasn't directed at him, Hearing Camilla's chilling voice still made goosebumps appear in his skin.

'As expected of a brainwashed Assassin.' Thought Lucius

Camila didn't hesitate to end Xander's life after hearing this news.

Although Lucius himself knew that Xander was a cockroach antagonist that had to be dealt with eventually , Camilla couldn't know that.

For her one little duel was enough for her to end his subscription to life.

Ruthless indeed!

Before Camilla could put her radical ideas into action, Lucius knew that he had to shut it down.

"No, Camilla there's no need to end him over just a duel. Besides, he is still the son of a count and a student of the academy. If we really kill him it will be easy to draw suspicion and expose ourselves!"

Hearing Lucius's words, Camilla knew that he was correct, but deep down inside, she still felt dissatisfied.

During her training as the assistant for the leader of revolutionary army, she also knew that one of her duties was quietly eliminating nuisances and problems for the leader.

So leaving Xander alive and walking left her somewhat dissatisfied, but before she could brood too long on her unhappy thoughts, Camilla heard a familiar voice

"Camilla, Lucius so that's where you guys are!"

Camilla looked back to see Alice, and two other people walking over towards them.

Lucius looked over and was also stunned.

'What the fuck is this guy doing over here?'

The reason for Lucius's shock was simple.

Accompanying Alice was none other than the most broken character in the setting, the main character Landon!

Lucius's heart was shocked, but he didn't show it on his face.

He just looked over to the smiling, angelic beauty as he usually did and That was when she tapped her head realising her mistake

"Oh right! I forgot to introduce you guys. These are my first friends Lucius and Camilla. Without them I'm not sure I would have even made it to the academy. "

After saying that she pointed to the people beside her

"This is Landon and Holly. These are the people I made friends with in the support magic class. Despite being experienced with magic they really helped me a lot .

Lucius already knew Landon well so he just took a look at holly.

She was a girl that also had blonde hair like Alice but instead of flowing down her back freely. She placed her hair in a set of cute pigtails. In addition to the difference in hair styles Holly was also a bit shorter than Alice and her figure was nowhere near as 'explosive' if you know what I mean.

If Lucius remembered correctly, then Alice and Holly were rather close in the original story, it was to the point where they could even be described as best friends and Holly was definitely a good friend to Alice, she sacrificed her life for Alice on several occasions and even took a life-threatening blow for her. Holly wasn't a heroine or even a love interest so she showed no reaction to his heroine system, but it was still heavily implied in the novel that she had feelings for Landon in the novel.

Remember this was the boyfriend of a best friend she would even take a knife for and she still fell for him.

Lucius couldn't help but curse at Landon once again in his mind.

This bastard-like guy did not spare any females!

As long as they were a female, this guy would end up attracting them like bees to honey.

But soon Lucius quickly realised that instead of cursing Landon he should curse the wretched god that made him that way.
