“Yeah?” Mo Liuxi nodded. “I’ll look after her if I ever have a chance to work with her.”

Xiao Si’s eyes glow.

‘This kid is really a fan of his sister,’ he thought.

“Don’t worry.” Mo Liuxi continued, “I will require her to deliver the perfect performance so she can improve her skills. If she fails to cope, I will spur her on and try to stimulate all of her hidden potential for acting.”

Xiao Si paused with surprise, then hurriedly explained, “No… that’s not what I meant…”

“Great, please don’t hesitate to give me any advice.” Ji Nuanyi walked over and said happily, “I’m looking forward to turning myself into a famous and skillful actress through this film.”

“I get it.” Mo Liuxi nodded.

After saying that, he walked past Ji Nuanyi toward the training site. Li Ming quickly followed behind him.

“That kid is cruel,” Xiao Si said through gritted teeth. “You shouldn’t have said that. He might torture you during filming. Don’t complain to me when he makes you suffer.”

“Am I that kind of actress?” Ji Nuanyi was excited. She held his arm and said to him, “You’ve waited for so long, haven’t you?”

Xiao Si turned to look at her. She was wearing makeup that made her look like a middle-aged woman.

“You look so ugly this way,” Xiao Si said, the corners of his lips twitching slightly.

“Say it again.” Ji Nuanyi narrowed her eyes slightly, erasing the smile from her face.

“Eh-hem.” Xiao Si hurriedly changed his words. “You are gorgeous, even though you’re actually trying to make yourself ugly. Your beauty dazzles my eyes.”

“Good boy.” Ji Nuanyi put an arm around his neck and pulled his head down so she could give him a kiss.

Xiao Si was a little shy, but also happy.

After becoming her boyfriend, he’d learned that she was a fierce lady. That sweet look of hers was just a mask that she wore. It was great though. He liked that she was fierce.

Mo Liuxi walked into the training site and saw that almost every actor was working hard, especially Shi Xiang. He had cut his hair short and was practicing martial arts with a coach.

The coach wasn’t showing any mercy. He threw Shi Xiang to the ground, but the latter soon got back up.

Li Ming put his mouth near Mo Liuxi’s ear and whispered to him, “Shi Xiang works really hard. I heard from the director’s assistant say that he’s always covered in injuries these days, but he never complains.”

Mo Liuxi gave Li Ming a glance. The latter hurriedly added, “I’m not trying to speak for him. What I said is true.”

Mo Liuxi fixed his eyes on Shi Xiang and said with a slight frown, “He’s trying very hard to make changes.”

“Do you feel it too?” Li Ming put his fingers on his chin and said, “He’s a singer. Why has he suddenly started working so hard?”

“It’s simple. He wants to bring his career back to the country,” said Mo Liuxi blandly. “He may be popular in Korea, but as a foreign artist, he can’t possibly make very much money. If he manages to come back to China and turn himself into a successful actor, he will make a fortune. You don’t need to worry about this film. I think he’ll do whatever you want.”

Li Ming clicked this tongue, nodded, and said, “I heard that when his Korean manager came here, they got into a couple of fights. It’s said that he gave up on quite a few events to do this training here.”

“Sure,” Mo Liuxi said. “The Korean company only wants money. Who cares about his acting skills? I guess he’ll soon end the contract with that company.”

“Director Li, Director Mo.” Shi Xiang walked over at that moment.

“How’s the practice going?” Li Ming asked.

“It’s going well. I’ve learned dancing before, so learning these movements isn’t very difficult for me.” Shi Xi wiped his red and swollen face with his hand, then asked, “When will my acting lessons begin?”
