Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Chapter 842 - As Your Punishment, You Need to Kneel on a Keyboard by the Bedside

“Father, you are my father in law. I won’t lie to you.” Nian Junting smiled.

Xu Zhengxuan patted him on the shoulder and said, “Junting, thank you. Sangsang is lucky to have you. You two carry on. I’ll leave you two alone.”

“Father, thank you for educating Luo so well,” Nian Junting said honestly. “You were strict with her, so she was perfect when I met her, in both physical terms and mental terms. I will treat her well. I will take care of her, and you too.”

Hearing him mentioning the word physical, Luosang’s face reddened immediately. She gave him a glare.

“I’m glad that you know.” Xu Zhengxuan gave a relieved smile. He was happy to know that Nian Junting was in awe of that. “I was strict on her indeed, yet still, you stole her away. If you mistreat my daughter or break her heart, I’ll kill you, even though you just saved me.”

“She’s the bully between the two of us. I don’t dare to disobey her,” Nian Junting said with honesty.

“Good boy. I’ll leave you two alone.” Xu Zhengxuan patted his shoulder again. “Don’t forget to close the door.”

Luosang felt speechless.

Who angrily called him little b*stard earlier? She thought.

By the door, Xu Zhengxuan turned and said to Nian Junting, “I need to dye my hair tomorrow. Don’t forget about that.”

“I won’t,” Nian Junting shook his head.

Xu Zhengxuan closed the door while leaving. Nian Junting once again put his arms around Luosang and put her onto the bed. His hands were all over her.

Luosang caught his hands and said, “I just found that you’re better and better at bootlicking.”

“I learned that recently.”

Nian Junting buried his head in her neck. His hot breathing made Luosang’s neck numb and itchy. “Before, everyone I met tried to fawn on me. But now, in order to turn you into my wife, I have to put down my self-esteem and lick the boots of my mother and father in law.”

“Luo, I said nicer words today than I’ve ever said in the past twenty years.” He suddenly raised his head and looked at Luosang helplessly.

Luosang couldn’t help but recall what he was like before. He was cold and proud like a peacock, as if no one in the world was good enough for him. She sighed. She could not believe that this man was going to become her husband.

“Junting…”

Luosang held his handsome face with both her hands and said, “Even if your company closed down one day, you’d still be able to make money by being a salesman.”

Nian Junting was expecting her compliment. However, when hearing what she said, he pulled a long face. He was such a smart and wise man. Would his company ever close down? Was that even possible?

“Luo, I’m not like you. I won’t let my company close down,” he said in a vague and gentle way. “I won’t let anyone take away my shares. That’s the difference between you and me. That’s the difference between a genius and a…”

Luosang glared at him and warned him through clenched teeth, “Carry on.” If he continued, she’d bite him to death.

Nian Junting pinched her cheeks which had bulged in anger, feeling that she was so adorable.

“Don’t touch me.” Luosang slapped away his hands and said, “Go to the bedside and kneel on a keyboard. That’s your punishment.”

Nian Junting paused briefly and smiled. “Luo, a man doesn’t kneel easily. I’ll only kneel before the gravestones of my ancestors.”

Luosang rolled her eyes and said, “Who just told my father that he doesn’t dare to disobey me? Now I’m only asking you to kneel yet you refuse.”

Nian Junting responded composedly, “I was coaxing your father. How can you believe that? You’re so silly and naive. No wonder you lost your family business to someone else.”

Deep and charming laughter uttered from his throat as he also scratched the top of her nose. Luosang stared at him in anger. She really wanted to bite him to death. He always mentioned her sore spot.

So shameless.

“Good girl, let’s make out. I’m so tired lately.” Nian Justing smilingly and gently put her down on the large bed.

Luosang stayed silent.

You are tired, but you want to make out? She thought. If she wasn’t pregnant, she’d have kicked him off the bed.

Next day, after breakfast, Xu Zhengxuan left hastily to get his hair dyed.

Last night, Nian Junting had asked Lu Kang to find the best hair salon in An City for him. The stylist cut his hair short in a proper style then dyed his hair black. Luosang sat on the couch, waiting for him. She was a little bored, so she started browsing the thick book of hair color samples. As a young girl she had found every color in that book pretty.

“Junting, after I give birth to the baby, I want to dye my hair to this amber color. What do you think?” Luosang showed the color to Nian Junting.

“Are you worried that I might stop liking you after you give birth? Is that why you want to make yourself prettier?” Nian Junting happily raised his eyebrows. He put an arm around her then kissed her on the cheek and, said, “Don’t worry. I’ll always like you, no matter what you look like.”

Luosang found that it was difficult to continue many conversations with him recently.

“I’m asking you if this color suits me or not.” She said.

“Every color suits you,” Nian Junting responded while inhaling the faint and refreshing aroma from her, “My girl is the prettiest girl in the world.”

Only after hearing that did Luosang felt slightly better. From the mirror, Xu Zhengxuan glanced at the inseparable pair, feeling complicated. He remembered that Luosang was never so close with Yi Jingxi when she was with him. It seemed that not everything that happened while he was in prison was bad. At the very least, his daughter met a man who truly loved her, in the most difficult situation. It was easy for a girl to meet a nice man when she was doing good at everything, but only under a difficult situation, would she see the true quality of that man.

“Mr. Xu, your daughter and son-in-law really are a perfect couple,” said the stylist with a smile.

Hearing that, Xu Zhengxuan gave a grin. After getting his hair dyed, Nian Junting and Luosang took Xu Zhengxuan shopping and bought a few suits for him.

Next day, they flew to Xia City.

Once the car had driven into the neighborhood, Xu Zhengxuan started adjusting his hair and clothes, and also asked his daughter from time to time, “Sangsang, do I look good? Is anything wrong?”

“Nothing is wrong,” Luosang said. However, she was worried.

Clearly, Xu Zhengxuan wanted to get back together with Mo Jin. However, they had separated for decades and Mo Jin did not have that same plan.

“Sangsang, bring me to where your mother and Liuxi live,” said Xu Zhengxuan.

Luosang’s head hurt. “Dad, to be honest, Mom hates you. She even gets unhappy when hearing your name. I think maybe you should just live a separate life. Didn’t you get through all those years without her?”

Xu Zhengxuan smiled bitterly. He did get through all those years. He never thought about marrying another woman and wasn’t able to develop any interest in any other woman. He told his daughter that she was dead, but deep down, he always wished that she would come back.

“Just take me there. Even if she yells at me, I’ll listen to her. I’ve thought about it. I’ll be happy even if she scolds me. It’ll be better than losing her. She left me and I had no one to even argue with,” Xu Zhengxuan sighed.

Once he said that, Luosang and Nian Junting had no choice but to take him to Mo Jin’s house and press the doorbell.
