“Back to school?” A familiar voice was heard from the phone.

Lousang was in a daze for a short while before recognizing Yi Jingxi’s voice.

“Luosang, I’m warning you. Men like Xiao Si will never really like you. Wanna get into a wealthy family like the Xiao Family? In your dreams. You should stay with me. Stop thinking about him…”

Luosang felt icy cold. It turned out that Yi Jingxi did what he did tonight on purpose because he thought something was going on between Xiao Si and Luosang. Luosang didn’t understand why he thought that way.

“Yi Jingxi, I’ll remember how you insulted me tonight for the rest of my life,” Luosang said tremblingly, then hung up the phone.

Dropping the phone, she clenched the blanket, tears gushing down her face.

In less than a minute, her phone rang again.

She thought it was Yi Jingxi again, so she grabbed the phone and yelled, “Stop calling! Go away! You made me sick!”

The one on the other side of the phone remained silent for a while. Then, Luosang heard Nian Junting’s unique voice, “Who made you sick?”

Luosang gave a start, then hurriedly wiped her tears and looked closely at the phone. Finding that it was Nian Junting who called her, she said, “Sorry, I didn’t see your number just now.”

“Who bullied you?” Nian Junting asked in a cold voice. The concern in his voice was hard to conceal.

Luosang wanted to cry. She bit her lips hard because she worried that he might hear her nasally voice.

“Are you in your dorm room?” Nian Junting continued asking, as she wasn’t responding.

“Em,” she replied.

“Come down, I’m downstairs,” he said shortly.

Luosang paused for a second, then her heart began thumping. Yesterday, she could tell that he was angry. She thought that he wouldn’t talk to her in at least a few days. After all, he was such a proud man. But to her surprise, he came to her tonight.

He’s not here to ask questions and give me trouble because Xiao Si told him about who I really am, is he?

“Don’t get this wrong. I’m here because Xiaosi misses you,” Nian Junting added proudly and coldly.

Luosang was a little nervous before, but hearing the simple words he said, her bad mood instantly left.

Well, it seems that Xiao Si was right. But this excuse of his is way too hilarious. It’s not like I’ve spent a lot of time with Xiao Si. And can a dog possibly tell people about its feelings? I’m not the kind of person Xiaosi fancies.

“Alright, I’ll come down in my pajamas,” she said.

She quickly changed into the green pajama set that she left on her bed, then washed her face and brushed her hair. After this, she went downstairs.

At the entrance of the dorm building, she looked around, then found Nian Junting under the most inconspicuous tree near the dorm. He was wearing a black sweater and black pants, carrying a paper bag. If Luosang didn’t see Xiaosi, she might not have been able to find him.
