“You should stay at home and rest.” Yan Su was startled at first, then knitted her brows into a deep frown and said, “Don’t let An Ning bother you again.”

“Are you jealous?” Mo Liuxi raised his brows.

Yan Su blushed scarlet. She was also surprised by what she’d said. “What are you talking about? I’m just worried about you,” she said.

“Are you worried that An Ning might rape me while I can’t use both arms to fight back?” Mo Liuxi smiled faintly.

Yan Su couldn’t even bear listening to that. She hurriedly put on her shoes and prepared to leave.

“I’ll protect myself for you.” Mo Liuxi walked up to her, whispering.

He would never get drunk and let some women take advantage of him again, not like last time.

He only needed to learn that kind of lesson once in his life.

He said that so seriously. Yan Su paused shortly, then replied with a weird look, “You are strong”

“You’re wrong,” Mo Liuxi shook his head.

“Who would possibly hurt you?” Yan Su asked without thinking.

Yan Su felt so embarrassed that she even wanted to tear her own mouth up. She should have seen that coming.

Before leaving, Yan Su paused briefly to think, then asked curiously, “You said that I’m like a snail, so, why don’t you break my shell instead of luring me out?”

“Silly girl. I can’t break your shell. It’s what you protect yourself with. Can a snail survive without its shell? I like you, but your safety is more important to me,” Mo Liuxi answered her question without thinking.

Yan Su throat grew a little tight. She didn’t say anything back. She kept her head lowered and left.

In school, many people asked her about what had happened the previous night. Before the class started, Yan Su saw a large group of girls swarming out of their classrooms.

“Mo Liuxi, he’s here. They saw him,” said Fan Jing, who was sitting beside Yan Su, “I guess you don’t know that all the girls in our school now see him as the perfect man since they heard how he saved you last night. Before, he was just the most handsome boy in our school, but now, he’s a lot more than that.”

Yan Su was stunned a little. Fan Jing moved closer to her, chuckled, and whispered, “Be honest with me, did your heart leap last night when he saved you?”

“Don’t overthink it. He’s younger than me,” Yan Su hurriedly denied, then opened her textbook. Her cheeks were burning. Thankfully, her hair was hanging loosely to cover her face.

“So what? A lot of girls in our school are with younger boys,” Fan Jing shrugged. “Seriously, I might fall in love with him if I were you. Mo Liuxi doesn’t just have fans in the school. He has fans all over the country. He’s the new dream husband in many girls’ hearts. I think no matter which girl he ends up with, that girl will be under great pressure, unless you’re that girl.”

“Me?” Yan Su was not confident about that.

“Yeah. You’re the prettiest girl in the school, while he’s the most handsome boy. You can win over the other girls convincingly.”

Yan Su subconsciously thought of An Ning. She hoped that girl wouldn’t try to pour boiling water onto her face.

During class, Yan Su was a little bored, so she started checking Weibo. Ji Nuanyi was on top of the hot search list, but now it was Shi Xiang’s statement.

After class, Yan Su got a call from Jiaojiao.
