Mo Liuxi smiled. “Doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to help you show your filial piety to your parents if we’re not in a relationship.”

Yan Su was sweating. She didn’t know what to say.

At 12:20, Yan Su went out with a bowl of pigeon soup, steamed fish, and stir-fried melon.

After she set the table, Mo Liuxi struggled to pick up his food with the chopsticks.

After Yan Su stared at him for a while, she picked a piece of melon to put it in his bowl. Just as she was about to do that, Mo Liuxi opened his mouth, gesturing for her to feed him.

“I can’t pick it up from my bowl either way.” Mo Liuxi blinked his eyes. “Why don’t you just feed me?”

Yan Su said, “I thought you told the doctor at the hospital that you can manage by yourself. You can’t even eat by yourself…”

“I was putting on a strong front.” Mo Liuxi grinned.

Yan Su frowned. “Why aren’t you putting it on now?”

“I can’t keep up the act.”

Alright, he’d won.

Yan Su didn’t know how to rebut that statement so she fed him.

Mo Liuxi opened his mouth and he paused as he sucked on her chopsticks.

Yan Su blushed. “Don’t be disgusting, that’s gross.”

“It’s not, your chopsticks smell good.” Mo Liuxi grinned.

“I meant that your mouth is gross.” Yan Su was frustrated.

“You’ll know, you just tasted it yesterday,” Mo Liuxi reminded her.

Yan Su was blushing beet-red now. “Can you please just eat your meal?”

“I want to have some fish.”

Yan Su didn’t know if she should put down her chopsticks or not.

If she switched chopsticks, it would be as if she really minded him. If not, they would be sharing a pair of chopsticks.

After hesitating for a moment, she picked up his own chopsticks to feed him.

She continued eating with her own chopsticks and Mo Liuxi was smiling at her. “There’s no need for that, right? I’ve already used your chopsticks.”

Yan Su put down her chopsticks guiltily and stood up to walk to the kitchen to get some fresh ones.

Just as she stood up, Mo Liuxi pulled her into his lap.

“Liuxi, don’t be too much. We’re having lunch now.” Yan Su was uncomfortable.

“Su… I just wanted to ask you, when are you planning to get together with me?” Mo Liuxi’s arms encircled around her. Yan Su was nervous.

After the day before, she’d seriously considered getting together with him.

But she didn’t plan on doing it so soon.

The doorbell rang.

Yan Su grabbed the opportunity to wriggle free and she stuttered nervously, “It might be your family. I’m going to take a look.”

She scuttled to the door. When she looked through the peephole, she was stunned.

“What is it?” Mo Liuxi had walked over as well. “Who’s here?”
