196 Teaching new technique (Part 1)

''Is there not a limit? '' As soon as Raydon found out about his title ability, that was the first thing that popped into his head.

''The description does not indicate that there is a limit of any kind. '' After double-checking the information in the title panel, Dan stated.

'It's an ability that has a very high potential. ' Raydon squinted his eyes and pondered.

It was incredible that he was able to increase both his movement speed and his attack speed without being subject to a specific limit. This indicated that even if Dan were to face an adversary who was more powerful than he was, if the fight went on for a sufficiently long period of time, he would eventually outpace his opponent's speed and become more powerful than them.

After pausing for a short while, Raydon then told everyone in a solemn tone. ''Y'all forget what you just heard. ''

''Yes, Master. ''

Everyone responded to Raydon's words by getting down on their knees and shouting at the same time. They were also aware that Dan could be in trouble if word of this leaked to other item holders.

Dan's war strategy could be severely hampered if the enemy discovers his ability to grow stronger as he fights if he ever faces an opponent stronger than himself.

Raydon gave a satisfied nod after he had observed the responses of everyone else and then turned to ask Karan.

"And what is your title?" Raydon probed once more.

It wasn't because Raydon had faith in the others and thought they wouldn't tell an outsider about Dan and Karan's title specifications. In point of fact, Raydon couldn't have cared less.

He only cared about the titles Dan and Karan received, so he was only interested in gauging the effect his teachings to them had on those titles.

"My title is Night Ranger. '' Similar to Dan, Karan said it without any hesitation and continued to give details.

''Every skill I use without being seen becomes 100% stronger. In addition, until I enter the enemy's line of sight, all of my skills that are related to movement will receive an additional 200 percent boost. ''

'Wow, this one is very good as well. ' Raydon thought.

This ability was tailor-made for the assassin class.

''Okay, y'all forget this one as well. ''

''Yes, Master. ''

The group responded once more with complete seriousness.

After obtaining all the information he required, Raydon began to scan the group before turning his final attention to Sami and speaking.

Raydon commanded, "Find a sword."

''Yes, Master. ''

Sami responded immediately and was about to start running to find a sword when he paused, barely realizing the task that had been assigned to him. 'Sword? Where can I find a sword? '

Sami contemplated for a moment, his forehead beginning to sweat. If Raydon had been looking for a knife or a stick, he would have had no trouble finding one. There were even some guns they found earlier, but where was he supposed to find a sword? Why would a normal person use a sword anyway?

''If it is useful, Master, I have one. '' When Dan saw that Sami was having problems and was beginning to sweat like a pig, he immediately took a short sword out of his dimensional storage and said.

Sami was concerned that he wouldn't be able to complete the assignment that had been given to him, but his eyes lit up when he suddenly saw Dan retrieve a sword. He turned to Raydon with hopeful eyes, waiting for him to respond.

''That will do. Hand it over to him. '' Raydon said, pointing at Sami.

While Sami was wondering what Raydon had in store for him, he grabbed the sword and stood in front of him.

''Attack me. '' Raydon said nonchalantly.

With the exception of the newcomers, Sami and the others felt an overwhelming surge of excitement upon hearing Raydon's words.

The last time they got in line in front of Raydon like this and heard those words, their lives had changed.

''Hey, he doesn't have a weapon? '' One of the group's newcomers asked quietly to the person standing next to her, but Karan's enhanced hearing picked up on it, and he answered without masking his excitement.

''Master doesn't require a weapon to train us. If you don't pay close attention now, you might be sorry forever that you missed it. ''

'Training? 'As soon as the person who asked the question and the others heard this, their level of excitement skyrocketed. They had a solid comprehension of Karan's meaning behind the word "training."

It was the legendary training that awakened their first and second captains as item holders. And at this point, they would be able to see it with their own eyes.

While everyone's excitement was at its peak and they were giving their full attention to this training by pushing all their limits, Sami made his first move.

'Not bad. ' Radon thought.

Raydon saw Sami's foot techniques and realized that he had grasped the shadow assassin technique that he had taught earlier. Despite the fact that Sami had never wielded a sword before and that his stance and sword grip were terrible, Raydon was still impressed by Sami's ability to apply the technique to his fight.

Despite his overweight physique, Sami only took one step forward when he suddenly appeared in front of Raydon and swung his sword.

''The third captain is amazing. ''

All of the new members of the group as well as anyone who saw Sami fight for the first time were taken aback by his effortless and silent yet lethal attack.

The following scene, however, was enough to make them hundreds of times more amazed than they had been previously.

''What the… ''

Despite the fact that Sami's inexperienced sword swing had the potential to rip a normal human's head from their neck, Raydon was able to stop it with just one finger.

Sami was unsurprised when he discovered that his sword could be easily blocked, so he simply retreated a few steps and resumed his defensive stance.
