Swiftly, Adam glanced at the book that had opened in front of him. He had expected some kind of new ordeal to appear on the book pages, since it had turned to the page designated to give him an ordeal and all, but what he received was in fact completely different from any of his expectations.

[Achievement: You have done something unheard of in the history of existence and have brought forth the mutation of two souls by mixing the power of Dreamforce and Prana inside them. This is a seed— the possible beginning of a new sentient race. For now, this seed has yet to grow and bloom into something substantial. But everything is possible. A limitless future stands before you and your shadowy creations.]

[Reward: 30000 karma points.]

[Explanation: Those who create a new race will be blessed by the world's power and receive equivalent Karma in exchange for bringing forth new life. Make the seed of this race grow until they can become independent entities capable of either procreating on their own or creating new beings of the same race on their own and without your express meddling. Only then would they be considered a new race. As the father and creator of these beings, your actions and choices in the future will decide the path your children will follow. Be careful with any path that you may take.]

[Supreme Ordeal: Evil God

Description: Becoming the god and creator of a race is never an easy path. Create a new evil race that will destroy the balance of the world and the universe at large. Bath them in the will of the Abyss and make them reach new heights never seen before in the history of all that is EVIL.

Objective: Create a race that follows the path of Absolute Evil and brings destruction to creation.

Reward: ????? — A percentage of all the Karma the future race that you will successfully create will be obtained by you.]

[Supreme Ordeal: Benevolent God

Description: Becoming the god and creator of a race is never an easy path. Create a new race of justice and benevolence that will usher in an era of peace, justice, and progress in the world and the whole universe. Bath them in the will of the Heavenly Realm and make them reach new heights never seen before on the path of benevolence and all that is GOOD and HOLY.

Objective: Create a race that follows the path of Absolute Good and usher in an era of peace, progress, and evolution.

Reward: ????? — A percentage of all the Karma the future race that you will successfully create will be obtained by you.]

The same quest repeated two additional times in a row. Only this time one wanted him to create a race that would follow the path of Neutrality and another quest that asked for the path of Chaos. Adam was already overwhelmed but his attention was caught by one last fact that came at the very end.

[Warning: The quests are repeatable. Create as many races as you can. Guide them toward the path of your choice and reap the reward of your children's hard work. Beware, not all children follow the path set by their parents. Betrayal is never impossible. For even the benevolent of beings may be tainted with evil. Creating a full sentient race brings the risk of betrayal and should they refuse the path you choose for them, no reward will be given in such a case.]

Adam had no time to even think when a new Ordeal appeared in front of him…

[Minor Ordeal: How to become a great parent…

Description: The first step to becoming a great father is to name your new race. Be careful. Names have meaning and power and will influence the direction of your future race. This is a simple yet very important step.

Reward: 1000 Karma points and satisfaction of becoming a good father.]

"Ugh…"

Even with his four minds, this information was a bit too much for Adam to take in. He had to reread everything before finally understanding the key points of what had just happened before him.

Firstly, by bringing his… His children(?) to the Dreamscape and making them evolve through the power of Dreamforce, he had started the necessary steps toward changing them into a new, never before seen, race.

This action rewarded him with an unexpected reward, a whopping 30,000 Karma points. When taking into account everything he had done lately, he had around 35000 karma points with him right now. This was a very sweet point for him. Making the next chakra opening not so far in the distant future as he once thought it to be.

Adam touched his chest where the Heart Chakra was located and breathed in deeply.

'I learned many new things on this dive.'

He felt like had gotten a glimpse into the secrets of the world and something started to nag at him.

The Primogenitors.

Were they considered as creators of their own races? Or was Cain considered the one who had created them all? Did this mean that Cain obtained Karma for each race that he created?

He shook his head— the truth of this fact didn't matter to him. What mattered now was something else.

"Am I a father now?"

It wasn't as if Adam had never thought about becoming one. With his relationship with women and how things went, he did wonder what it would feel like to have a little baby in his arms.

But this…. He never thought that his first children would be the souls of two people he had killed just a few days ago.

'This is so fucking weird.'

Adam decided to change his vision. In most myths and religions, godly beings always had messengers or apostles in their names. A race of special beings who were created by god but followed loyalty to the rules of said god.

'I guess in a way they are more like my first two angels, right? Let's think of them in that way.'

They were not of his blood nor made in his image but they were invisible eldritch entities with power yet to be known and defined. He had yet to discover what they were capable of and what they would be capable of in the future.

So now… Just what should he call them?

Adam scratched his head, not knowing what to do about this. He wanted to call them Angels and be done with it but the 'Warning' about how names had distinct power in them and were able to influence the way in which they would develop made him stop in his tracks.

The worst thing was— he really sucked at naming things.

'Should I talk to Medusa about this?'

He immediately shuddered at the thought, his instincts screaming at him that if he were to do something like that right now, there were higher chances of Medusa capturing him and studying him in a lab than anything else.

'I guess I will talk to Mom about this.'

Adam groaned inwardly. He suddenly felt like a young teen who got a child while being unmarried and now had to bring the news to his parents.

He laughed while imagining the face of his mother— Cecilia would morph into once she learned that she was now technically a grandmother.

This was the only way to take his mind off the current cumbersome and fucked up situation.
