A few minutes later, Fedora was sitting with a hot chocolate in her hands and a dazed look on her face as she was unable to comprehend what was going on right now.

"So to summarize, you sent a message to your friend and asked him to release his aura to teach me a lesson."

"Yep."

The nonchalant way Natasha acquiesced to those words made it impossible for Fedora to give further retorts.

But at the same time, she was forced to admit that this lesson had been quite effective for her. This made her realize just what kind of person she had provoked and how badly things could have ended if she had messed things up for them.

Truly, actions were worth more than thousands of words.

"I am sorry."

Standing up, she looked at the three people in the house and gave them a slight bow. She remembered Natasha telling her that her friend was Half-Japanese.

She felt like she was relying on stereotypes and felt a bit awkward in doing this action but she didn't know what else to do in this situation.

"I shouldn't have made that order. I will be more careful in the future."

"It's alright. To be honest, fighting them had been pretty fun so I have nothing much to say about the situation."

Fedora looked at the smiling face of the young man, trepidation hidden in her heart.

This man was so unassuming at first glance…

A rather handsome appearance and an irresistibly charming aura. He looked more like a Gigolo or some K-pop star than a fighter.

But the aura she felt just moments ago—

She shivered ever so slightly and looked at the two other people in the room. Instantly, her eyes lit up.

They were so beautiful.

Red hair blazing like a flame under the setting sun and silver white hair similar to that of her eldest brother and parents.

She so wanted to go there and caresses their hair with her hands but stopped herself because of how unseemly and disrespectful it would be to commit such a deed.

"She is so cute."

Cecilia chuckled lightly, her beer nowhere the be seen any longer.

After all, she would not show her slovenly appearance to just anyone. It was only reserved for the people she was very close to.

"She is indeed…"

Natasha smiled and came to the front, standing beside her sister…

"I would first like to apologize once again. My sister was lacking and her actions were unworthy of her position as a member of the Great Wolves."

"Well… It didn't really hurt so…"

"It doesn't matter. This isn't a matter of her hurting you but about attempting to use force on an innocent bystander. Her bias and mistakes should not fall on the head of those who asked for none of it or do anything to be provoked. She was in the wrong, that's the only thing that matters here."

Natasha was quite serious and this seriousness and solemness reflected particularly well in those eyes of hers, the voice with which she spoke with them, and also the way she stood with solemnity and dignity.

Realizing her stance in this matter, Adam shared a handshake with Natasha, prompting the two of them to smile.

Once the action was done and settled properly, Natasha approached Cecilia after taking out the gift she had been keeping in her hand for some time now.

"Now that I have apologized, I now need to be thankful. I don't know if you remember me, but I am grateful for the help you provided us with during the fight with the vampire during that ignoble event."

Natasha gave a look toward Makoto and also nodded her head toward her, "I didn't expect to see you here, but I am happy to meet you again. If I knew you would be present I would have given a gift to you as well. But now, we will have to wait and see."

She had fought alongside Makoto and knew how strong she was. Having such a powerful person as a friend was never a bad thing.

"I don't mind. And— you were strong as well."

Makoto gave a simple and blunt answer, as always, and Natasha nodded before focusing on Cecilia once more.

Currently, Natasha's eyes were filled with stars as she looked at Cecilia.

Natasha had never been the kind to have someone she was particularly attracted to or found interesting among women.

But ever since she had seen the sword strikes that were delivered with utter precision and devastating power of destruction, Natasha had been smitten by the person before her.

Not in a romantic sense though. It was more like she had finally seen what it felt like to be a fan.

In short, she was in utter admiration of Cecilia and respected her to such a high degree that no one was able to reach that height before in her life.

The power Cecilia had shown was simply out of this world and this made her realize just how much she had to learn to finally reach a level that was satisfying enough in the eyes of the world.

This was why…

"Could you perhaps sign this form?"

Coughing a little to keep her embarrassment in check, Natasha took out a book as well as a small handle of retractable claws.

She wanted to make genuine friends. Sadly, her position made it very difficult for her.

Then— she could have an idol, right?

"Well…"

Cecilia was surprised. Greatly so.

This was the first time in all her career someone actually asked such a question.

Usually, she would be happy if she didn't get insulted, cursed, or simply met with silent tears of anger and despair.

Her job had been quite harsh after all.

"You… I really like you."

Cecilia grinned as she took the pen from Natasha's hand.

If in the past she was half joking about Adam going out with her, Now she was 100% in favor of his son wooing this girl.

It was time to get a new daughter-in-law for herself.

She made a bold signature in the stylish font of a C and gave the items back to Natasha.

"Thank you. I will treasure them."

"In the future, I am the one people will ask for signing events."

Adam made a show of sulking which allowed the room to usher into a more pleasant atmosphere.

On the side, Fedora observed everything that was transpiring before her.

She was witnessing many sights of her sister she had never thought would be possible to ever see.

For her, Natasha had always been the kind, serious, and reliable sister.

She was more an ideal than anything else.

But for the first time, a crack in her ideal appeared but this crack was not bad by any means.

Sighing, she looked at everyone before tugging at the hem of Natasha's dress.

"Ah. Sorry, I was so excited, I forgot to introduce my sister to everyone."

She patted Fedora's shoulder…

"I am Fedora Antonovna Nikitina. Happy to make all of your acquaintance."

She was scared as well. But she couldn't exactly say this now, could she?

(An: Ngl. Sometimes I wonder if I should have signed GoC with WN or simply go on the traditional system with Amazon. The way my book is structured and the pace suit more whole book than a chapter per chapter. Well, Imma asks WN and see if I can do an Amazon format adaptation. But with my current rank, I don't think it will be possible sadly. Only top books got one.)
