“What… Stuff?”

For some reason, Wen Ruo had a bad feeling as she looked at Jian Yunmo.

“Can I come in and talk?” Jian Yunmo asked.

“But…”

Why did he want to come into her room and talk?

“This is a letter of recommendation written by Sofia’s Chief Designer. If you have this letter of recommendation, you will be able to make a comeback.”

Wen Ruo opened her mouth in surprise.

“A letter of recommendation from Sofia’s Chief Designer? How did you come across this?” Wen Ruo exclaimed. She did not dare to believe her ears.

Sofia was an international brand that was on par with XDL.

Furthermore, the status of their chief designer in the fashion industry was equivalent to Mr. Kevin’s.

Hence, a personal letter of recommendation from her carried a lot of weight.

“In the past, I did a favor for her. Therefore, she was happy to write a letter of recommendation for my cousin,” Jian Yunmo replied.

“Cousin… Is the… Letter of recommendation… For me?”

Wen Ruo was shocked. This was completely unexpected.

“Yep, it’s for you. However, there’s a condition.”

“Condition? What condition?”

“You have to tell me the reason why you encouraged Yiling to provoke Wen Yan with vicious words back then.”

“Cousin, what are you talking about? Why would I encourage her to do such a thing? I don’t understand what you’re saying.”

“You don’t need to tell me that you didn’t do such a thing. I know exactly what you said to Yiling back then. Yiling wouldn’t lie to me. The reason why Yiling went and said those things to Wen Yan was because she listened to you. She thought that she could get Wen Yan to come out of his room and face the sun again. That’s why she tried to spur him on with vicious words. I just want to know the reason why you made that suggestion to Yiling back then. Did you really think that it would be useful, or did you have some other thoughts in mind?”

Wen Ruo was stunned. Her brain was going through a million thoughts.

It wasn’t strange for Jian Yunmo to know what she said to Jian Yiling back then.

After all, Jian Yiling would tell everything to him.

Therefore, even if she denied this, Jian Yunmo would refuse to believe her.

“I want you to give me a reason which can convince me that you’re not malicious. I want to know if my cousin is a good person. If you are a good person, then I will give you this letter of recommendation. After all, I’m your cousin. I should help you in times of need. However, if you can’t convince me that you’re a good person, then I won’t treat you as my cousin.”

Jian Yunmo’s words were as gentle and soft as always.

If he accepted her as his cousin, he would naturally help her.

And thus, Wen Ruo began to think of potential reasons.

After a long time, Wen Ruo said to Jian Yunmo: “Cousin, why would you think that I gave that suggestion with other thoughts in mind? I was only ten years old at that time. Spurring someone on using vicious words was one of the only ways I could think of. How else could we help Brother Wen Yan?”
