From Sidekick to Bigshot

Qin Yufan watched Jian Yichen get beaten up. As she watched, she felt like her heart was in her throat.

However, it seemed as though Jian Yichen felt no pain at all.

He let them beat him up. In fact, he continued to mock them.

The harder those men hit, the more wildly he would laugh.

Qin Yufan felt that he would be killed by these people if he continued to act like this.

And thus, she lunged forward to pull one of them back.

Yet, she was easily shoved to the side.

In the end, Qin Yufan was only a young lady. She didn’t have the strength to stop these people.

She could only watch Jian Yichen get beaten up. He was getting beaten up for her.

However, Jian Yichen was still laughing.

He even called the kidnappers “a bunch of trash.”

“Damn! Are you brain damaged? How are you still laughing? I will make sure that you’re crying by the time that I’m done with you! If not, I will change my surname to yours!”

“You only have five more minutes,” Jian Yichen replied. His gaze was certain.

“Five minutes? Who are you kidding? I have heaps of time to play with you! I was bored waiting for the Qin family’s money anyway. Originally, I planned to play around with Qin Yufan. It’d be a delight to destroy her fragile and soft skin. However, playing around with you works as well!”

Then, the leader of the kidnappers picked up a baseball bat: “Let’s see whether your bones are hard enough!”

“Boom——”

A loud sound came from outside.

The outermost iron door was violently opened.

A large group of well-trained security personnel rushed in.

The kidnappers were in shock.

How could this be? This place was well hidden! It couldn’t have possibly been found so quickly!

They were confident about this!

If they hadn’t been fully prepared, they wouldn’t have dared to make a move on Qin Yufan!

“Tch——” Jian Yichen laughed. “You arrived five minutes early. Not bad.”

Jian Yichen had given them half an hour.

Before this, he could not let these people separate him and Qin Yufan.

Once separated, there would be no way for him to track where Qin Yufan was.

“Who are you?” the leader of the kidnappers asked.

This person had been violently beating up Jian Yichen.

Upon hearing this, the kidnapper’s expressions changed.

The leader of the kidnappers calmly ordered: “Brothers, take care of these people. Then, let’s immediately withdraw from here.”

If this group was smart, they would have called the police first.

If that was the case, they would have had no chance to escape. They could only wait to be captured.

However, now, they definitely had the time to escape.

As soon as the people in front of them were dealt with, they could leave immediately. They had already planned a subsequent escape path.

They only had to get out of this place.

However, what happened next was something they could not have imagined.

The people who rushed in were incredibly well-trained!

One of them could beat up three kidnappers! Not to mention that they themselves already had an advantage in numbers.

Jian Yichen continued to laugh: “They’ve all been trained with the help of my older brother. Your punches are nothing to me. They don’t even tickle.”

Jian Yichen’s body was covered with wounds. However, he was still laughing like a maniac.

Qin Yufan stared at him.

Then, Jian Yichen turned around to look at Qin Yufan: “These kidnappers are probably hired by someone. Otherwise, they couldn’t possibly kidnap you from under the noses of your bodyguards. If you can’t find the mastermind that’s behind the scenes, please take care in the future. You need to be careful.”
