Zhao Youlin noticed a hint of reluctance in the old butler’s eyes. Her heart moved. He was the only one in the Mu family who had been kind toward them, especially Joy. Therefore, she respected and was very much grateful for him.

“Joy is very fond of you, Mr. Butler. If you’re free, you can come over to visit him. You should know our address. We don’t welcome people from the Mu family including the maids. But, we do welcome you, Mr. Butler. I’m sure Joy would be particularly happy.”

The old butler’s eyes sparkled upon hearing Zhao Youlin’s words. He said in excitement, “I understand.”

Zhao Youlin smiled. After Joy bade farewell to the old butler and carried her luggage, they boarded Luo Weibing’s car and headed to their new home.

“Mommy, are we leaving?”

“Hum.” Zhao Youlin nodded and caressed Joy’s head gently.

“Are we coming back in the future?” Joy lifted his head and asked curiously.

“Do you still want to come back here, Joy?”

Joy hesitated for a while. He hugged Zhao Youlin’s waist. His voice came out muffling, “I’ll be with you whenever you’re, Mommy.”

Zhao Youlin was stunned. Her gaze on Joy grew increasingly softer, “Alright. I’ll be with you forever, Joy.”

Luo Weibing was in the driver’s seat in front of them. His jaw dropped when he heard their interaction behind the car seat. It was hard to imagine a domineering and tough woman being that gentle when taking care of a child.

Apart from being surprised, Luo Weibing was further convinced that he had to hold on to this child tightly.

Joy was relaxing in Zhao Youlin’s arms when he recalled something. He raised his head, and asked, “Mommy, where are we going now?”

Zhao Youlin smiled as she pinched Joy’s little round face, and replied, “We’re going to our new home.”

“New home?”

“Hum. A new home where there are only the two of us.”

As Zhao Youlin was speaking, she gave the villa behind her one last look as it gradually faded from her sight. After that, she withdrew her gaze without the slightest hint of reluctance.

It was close to the afternoon when they left the Mu family. Hunger struck. While the two adults looked fine, the child was hungry.

Therefore, Zhao Youlin brought Joy into a clean and comfortable restaurant. Of course, Luo Weibing was the one who eventually paid for the lunch. It was a treat to so-called congratulate Zhao Youlin and his new nephew on their recent housewarming.

Zhao Youlin rolled her eyes at him in disgust. She thought to herself that this fellow was still as stingy as before. If only she knew about this earlier, she would have brought Joy to a lavish, high-end dining place to make him pay for the price. On second thought, even if she did that, this fellow would not probably rush to foot the bill so willingly.

After a simple lunch, Lu Weibing fetched the two of them to their new home.

Luckily, the condominium was not as far away as she had expected. It was only an hour’s drive from the Mu family’s villa. Moreover, it was located in the thriving area of City S. So, it would be convenient for them in terms of transportation and shopping.

“Alright. You can stop here. Thank you very much for your help today.” Zhao Youlin held Joy and dragged her suitcase. She stood in front of the entrance of the condominium and smiled at Luo Weibing as she thanked him.

Luo Weibing choked. He said with a sad face, “Sister Lin, you could at least invite me for a cup of tea. How could you dump me after using me.”

Zhao Youlin smirked. She said playfully, “No problem. As long as you don’t mind having your father find out and misunderstanding you after knowing that you came to our house when Joy and I are already a divorced woman and an orphan. You’re always welcome to drop by.”
