Back at the hotel, Yan Qingsi was doing double preparations. She was worried that merely distributing the cards would not achieve her desired outcome.

Taking out her phone, she created a new WeChat account, uploaded a picture of a naked lady she got from the internet, and thought up an appropriate nickname — ‘Qian Qian the little slut’. Once she was done, all she had to do was start… shaking ¹ !

Yue Tingfeng came back to the sight of Yan Qingsi in her pajamas making a phone call in bed.

“Hello Miss Mai, pull all your strings and let every paparazzi in Jing City know Xu Qianxi got arrested doing prostitution. The address is at Four Seasons Hotel room 619.”

“By gods, what are you playing at?” Miss Mai’s voice came through the phone, perplexed.

“What am I playing at?” Yan Qingsi asked, sitting up, “I’m taking revenge of course, you know me, I’m not the kind of woman who will take all this frame-up sitting down quietly. This is a revenge I must take, it’s personal.”

Yan Qingsi looked up to see Yue Tingfeng walking towards her, taking off his mask slowly, his face seething with rage.

Miss Mai felt a moment of anxiety for Yan Qingsi, but she knew she had no way of reining her in, “Whatever you do, please don’t get people suspicious.”

Yue Tingfeng sat down, wrapped his arms around Yan Qingsi’s waist, and bit down on her ear.

Yan Qingsi reached out and pinched Yue Tingfeng on the face, twisting it for good measure, “Don’t worry, as long you don’t let anyone know you put out the rumours, it should be fine,” she added.

“You don’t have to worry about this, I’ve been in this business for so many years, if I don’t know how to keep my hands clean, I wouldn’t have survived this long,” Miss Mai reassured, suddenly hearing a weird noise over the phone, like somebody chewing on food.

“What was that?” she asked instinctively.

“Oh, I had a cavemen as a new pet.” Yan Qingsi answered, pushing Yue Tingfeng’s head away.

Yue Tingfeng was no longer bothered by such insults from Yan Qingsi. Caveman it is then, in any circumstances, he was the only caveman here anyway.

Miss Mai was as speechless as she sounded over the phone.

After a moment of stunned silence, she started, “Or is it —”

“Yes yes,” Yan Qingsi cut in, brushing Yue Tingfeng off, “He’s very clingy, I can’t help it, I can’t get rid of him.”

“Heheh, well then, hurry up and come back once you’re done,” Miss Mai reminded her, sensing no point in continuing the conversation, “You still have work over here.”

“Got it.”

Yue Tingfeng pushed Yan Qingsi onto the bed once she was off the phone.

“So I’m very clingy? And hard to get rid of? Hmm?”

“Was I wrong?” Yan Qingsi retorted, rolling her eyes, unperturbed.

Yue Tingfeng’s face darkened for a moment, and he started to laugh, “Well you’re damn right.”

Nibbling Yan Qingsi’s ear, Yue Tingfeng whispered, ” What have I sinned in my previous life for me to actually meet you?”

“Heheh”

Yue Tingfeng wanted to turn up the heat but was swiftly kicked away by Yan Qingsi.
