CHAPTER 145

He wanted more than anything to linger on her lips, taking this to a much deeper level than before but with the disturbance at the door, Liu Xueyi knew if he wanted peace, he needed to get rid of the intruder.

Gritting his teeth a bit, he let out an exasperated sigh, flickering his gaze back up to hers as his lips pulled back to the side, revealing a soft smile.

"Hey."

"You…" she swallowed a bit harder than planned. "Expecting a visitor?" Andromeda managed to ask.

Right now, as much as she wished for his sweet kisses to linger on her lips, she knew this might be an opportunity to correct the wrong she did when she gave him permission earlier to do as he pleased.

"Nope."

From the sincere look in his eyes, firm and bold, she knew he was not lying and he would not want to compromise a time alone with her to apologize for anything.

"Shouldn't you go get it?"

"I should."

"So…" she trailed off suggestively, while her gaze gestured towards the door.

Although all of her actions pointed at him getting the door, Liu Xueyi did not move a muscle and held his ground, staring at her intensely.

"I should but I do not want to go. It is the first time you are requesting a kiss from me. Who knows, you may change your mind if I leave."

A mild smile creased the outlines of her eyes as she stared sweetly at him.

'He found me out easily huh. How do I get out of this? But as much as I want to, I also want him to continue and hopefully, this burning sensation in my body and between my legs would finally be quenched.'

She sighed internally, fighting with her mind and heart on the right thing to do should she give in or she should maintain her morals and let him go?

"Andy." He pressed on the small of her back, bringing his lips close to her ear. "You won't leave would you?"

"Leave?" She exhaled sharply and responded. "I am here, you know. We still have a meal to cook."

"I know. What I meant was, would you let me kiss you again when I return?"

"Liu Xueyi, the doorbell is still ringing. I think that person  I or his or her message is important."

"And if they or their message isn't?"

"Then… We can continue coo…"

He did not give her the opportunity to dish him further, as he claimed her lips once more, leaving her brain in shambles.

She allowed him to enjoy himself for a brief moment before pushing at his chest and forcing him to separate from her.

The wicked smirk on his face told her he seemed to be enjoying himself at her discomfort and as much as he treasured him, she did not like it.

"Xueyi, go."

"I would if you call out my name more sweetly."

"Get out," she charged harshly.

He chuckled out laughter, agreeing to her scolding. "Fine." But the look in his eyes held mischief of what's to come.

Slowly, he lifted a strand of her hair, bringing it to his nose, inhaling her scent deeply.

"I'll be back."

He pushed back into a straight position as he made his way out of the kitchen to get the door.

The moment he was out of sight, Andromeda exhaled deeply, taking in slow breaths to keep her mind and head calm.

Sadly, the heat searing in her skin remained hot and warm in some places.

She shut her eyes, reliving the experience once again while her fingers wandered of their own accord and found their bearing on her lips, recalling how his soft thin ones press against hers.

Instantly, she felt a sense of déjà vu hit her and then a memory from that night flashed in her mind, jolting her back from her train of thoughts.

Her heart thudded wildly in her chest when she realized just what was going on.

She could not pinpoint while she would suddenly recall that stranger when the person she yearned for was Liu Xueyi but just now when she felt his lips touch her, she felt familiar sparks like that night course through her body, sending electricity down her body.

The way he had kissed her, softly at first and then, he became needy, fierce but still with ease warmth and tenderness.

She did not know why their kisses would feel that way or if it was a kissing technique some people had learnt over time.

Whether or not it was, she could not say, just that she yearned more for it, wanting to compare her thoughts with what her brain and body recalled from that night.

Resigning herself to her fate in the kitchen, she went ahead to finish chopping the vegetables.

On the other hand, Liu Xueyi placed his left hand in his pocket and majestically walked over to his door, ready to get even with the one who decided to bother him without permission and God helping it was one of his friends.

He was not going to spare any of them, should in case they were the ones who disturbed his intimate moment with Andromeda.

Letting out a sigh, he unlocked the door and pulled it open. By now the ringing sound did die down finally but Liu Xueyi was still angry at the fact the intruder bugged his brain earlier.

While wearing the most indifferent expression he could conjure, he lifted his eyes, ready to lash out when his gaze landed on his visitor.

Time seemed to have stopped for the seconds he stayed there wondering why he was graced with the presence of such a disturbance this morning?

"Xue-bear," she called out sweetly, pressing a finger on her lips while her eyes blinked in pure adoration.

A surprised but annoyed sigh fell from his lips instantly as he pried his lips to hurt her genuinely.

"I should have known that the one pestering my peace was you, Gao Yuemi."

"I am not pestering you. Besides, how did I disturb your peace or was it the one who came over that you failed to hide properly that is disturbing your peace?"

She folded her arms underneath her bosom while she half turned, facing Andromeda's car.

"I guess you were too busy getting on her that you failed to acknowledge me."

The look in her eyes held malice well enough when she spoke of her that Liu Xueyi saw it clearly.
