CHAPTER 140

Sitting comfortably on the swivel chair in his office, Liu Xueyi anticipatedly waited for the moment when Andromeda would walk in through that door.

He was tired and felt rather sleepy as his hazy eyes remained locked on the door, but he chose to stay awake since he was expecting Andromeda to walk in any minute from now.

He wanted to make things right with her, to set things straight and probably, get a kiss that his mind has been daydreaming about all day.

Seconds ticked by as the clock rotated slowly on the wall where it was placed, the sound of a door being clicked open caught Liu Xueyi's attention as his eyes flew open.

His gaze didn't shift to the door as his eyes remained still like he was gazing at the floor, he saw the door open further with a pair of stilettos making its way in.

Knitting his brows slightly, his eyes went further to slowly rake the being who had stepped into his office without knocking as those beautiful eyes of his took in the black stilettos, before shifting to the red lacy gown which seemed to stop right above the knee of a particular lady.

The familiar scent of a certain lady reached his nostril and at that moment, his eyes finally looked up to meet the eyes of no other woman than Andromeda.

"Andy?"

He called, sounding rather surprised, yet unsure of why her presence sort of surprised him, he had been expecting her had he not?

Regardless of that, Andromeda flashed him a sweet innocent yet bewitching smile as she reached for his desk.

"Did I surprise you? I normally always knock before stepping into your office but I wanted to surprise you." She genuinely spoke.

But unbeknownst to her, Liu Xueyi was more taken by her beautiful outfit as it brought out the shape of her fragile, yet sculptured figure, to the point he couldn't resist gulping down his throat.

"I..." he could barely speak as he met her innocent gaze again.

He had a lot to say but to his shock, his brain seemed to have clicked delete and now, he could barely remember what he wanted to say.

Noticing his unusual reaction, her expression suddenly looked guilty as she lowered her gaze, standing before the befuddled Liu Xueyi as she softly uttered.

"I'm sorry for what I said…"

"Andy…" he caught her off immediately after knowing exactly where she was getting to with that apology.

"You don't have to apologize, it's alright." He assured her while looking away and staring at the file before him, unwilling to let himself fall into a trance from her irresistible look right now.

They had drifted apart because of his desire for her and now that he hoped to set things straight his brain was been messed up with her presence.

"Are you that upset to the point you won't even look at me?" She half sulked, causing Liu Xueyi to pause as he was about to write on a file. If only she knew.

"It's not that, I'm not upset at all."

"Then what is it?"

Liu Xueyi barely realized when Andromeda had moved next to where he sat, only to feel his chin being lifted by her finger that it stunned him greatly.

At that moment, only one question remained on her mind. When did she get here?

"If you aren't upset, then you at least have to prove it somehow." She suggested while making him stare into her crystal blue eyes, making Liu Xueyi's heart go rampant at the thought of it.

He had to prove it?

Finding it hard to comprehend what she meant, Liu Xueyi asked, hoping not to cross another boundary. "How do I do that?"

"Kiss me." She openly enunciated, causing the baffled being's eyes to unknowingly dilate as his gaze moved from her face to her lips.

And oh, those soft pink lips of hers that never failed to turn his brain off.

As much as he loved to hear that, his brain had other thoughts.

Why would Andromeda bring up the idea that he should kiss her? Normally that was his kind of thing, but now she just used it against him.

As much as he felt his heart thump wildly at the fact that she used his skill against him, he was baffled.

She had clearly stated before when they last spoke that he should stop kissing her and now, she wanted him to prove he wasn't angry with a kiss?

Heaven helped him but his brain wasn't catching up anymore.

Before he could come to terms with her suggestion, Andromeda leaned further in and kissed him instead, making his hands ball into fists on the table as she clicked on the desire he'd been trying to hold inside of him.

Knowing how much he wanted this, he didn't refuse and instead, pulled her further into his arms as he swiftly wrapped her waist with his arms, pressing her soft body onto his.

Immediately, he parted her lips with his as he pried her mouth open, taking the kiss deeper and letting the warmth of her mouth and tongue take control of his mind.

Andromeda equally reciprocated with the same fire building up inside of her as her hands felt the collar of his shirt, loosening his tie and unbuttoning one of his buttons.

She swiftly moved on to the second one and pried into his chest to feel the heat which emanated from his skin, before wrapping her arms around his neck, settling her body on his.

"Seems like I'm not the only one who has longed for this." Andromeda half teased as she pulled back to look at him.

His eyes burned with equal desire and matched up to the hunger which glinted in her own eyes.

"You can't even imagine." He breathed while tugging off his ties completely, pulling the giggling Andromeda down on him, and capturing her lips again as their bodies pressed into each other tightly.

Soon enough their tongues swirled against each other, sucking, tasting, licking and enjoying the feel of the other in their mouth.

It was both surreal and breathtaking but more importantly, it was blissful.
