Zhou Shuang heard his remarks and it riled her up. She sprang upright and bellowed, "Get lost now!"

"Alright. Stop making a fuss and go to sleep." Lu Yinan grinned at her and coaxed her gently. He stretched his hands and pulled her into his embrace. He gave her a light peck on her cheek and said, "Let's get along in peace and not bicker anymore, all right?"

Zhou Shuang was the type of woman who would never yield to force but would turn soft immediately if someone coaxed her. Lu Yinan's change in attitude extinguished almost all of her fury.
