Earth's Greatest Magus
2140 Bloodline
Two months prior, after being rejected for the reward she she deserved, Shinta sulked for days.
"Huh! He chose that idiot Kingrig over his own daughter!! As if I am dying for his personal coaching! he wishes!! ...Back in Ouroboros, a dozen masters begged me to be their student! Huh! So annoying!"
Unable to calm herself, Shinta decided to channel her rage into combat, targeting her fellow acolytes at Hall 7. She constantly sought reasons to challenge them, forcing them to bet their contribution points. Her relentless pursuit of fights led her to accumulate an impressive number of contribution points, allowing her to spend more time in the Origin Room, solidifying her foundation.
Two weeks after this spree, Shinta finally achieved a breakthrough to Rank 9 and began forming her first pillars. By this time, however, none of the 30 left-wing acolytes dared to challenge her anymore. Her reputation had grown, and fear had taken root among her peers.
"You are ranked 21st now. You should challenge the west-wing acolytes next," her instructor suggested. However, Shinta always found some excuse to reject such ideas.
It wasn't that she was afraid—she was indeed tempted by the larger weekly contribution points that came with being in the top 20. But Shinta knew that achieving such a rank would restrict her movements within the academy. The instructors would inevitably involve her in multiple special teamwork training sessions to prepare for the team exam, which she found both tedious and time-consuming.
"Huh, I'm not that stupid," she muttered to herself as she weighed the pros and cons.
Despite her bravado, Shinta knew she needed more contribution points to advance her training. There were the academy missions available to a Rank 9 acolyte. However, they were either too boring or required too much time. She didn't have the patience for mundane tasks.
During these few weeks, strangely, Shinta's attachments with Kehinde and the seven wolf acolytes grew deeper. Observing their camaraderie, Shinta saw an opportunity to get more contribution points.
"I will help you get stronger and gain ranks, but you will pay me with your contribution points!" she proposed.
Initially, they doubted her abilities. They knew Shinta was talented, but could she really help them improve? Shinta quickly proved herself. She provided deep insights into the other acolytes' strengths and weaknesses, allowing the wolves to strategize their duels more effectively. Her observations were precise, her tactics shrewd.
But her true ace in the hole was her Uncle Bob, who had recently opened his gene shop in Utopia City. Shinta had visited him before for her gene check-ups, and she knew he could be the key to unlocking the wolves' potential. Manipulating her uncle's desire to help her, she convinced him to assist the group of wolves.
Master Bob, with his expansive research in wolf genes, agreed to help, and within days, the wolf acolytes began to show real improvements. They were stronger, faster, and more resilient, thanks to the specialized gene treatments Bob provided. At the same time, these eight wolf acolytes slowly became Shinta's little pack, doing her bidding and helping her gain more contribution points.

Soon enough, the monthly Hall 120 evaluation came up, and Shinta felt more confident than ever with her significant improvements. She even planned to defeat all 21 acolytes, including Dillion, to give 'him' no reason to refuse her. She imagined 'him' uttering regret for not accepting her sooner, reveling in her worth.
However, her plans hit an unexpected snag when learned that 'he' already left the academy along with her Hall 7 instructor, Brianna.
"He left? For how long? When will he be back?"
The lack of information on his return only fueled her determination. With only one month left until the mid-exam, Shinta resolved to intensify her training efforts. She knew that being part of the top 500, or even better, the top 100, would be the best proof of her talent and a reason for 'him' to regret not choosing her.
"I need to reach mid-stage rank 9 before the exam," she told herself, setting her sights on a challenging yet achievable goal.
Shinta trained with unwavering dedication, spending almost every day in the Origin Stone room. The intense energy of the room accelerated her progress, and she pushed herself to her limits. Every session in the Origin Stone room left her exhausted but more powerful than before.

With her exceptional battle prowess and advanced techniques, Shinta breezed through the first two rounds of the examination. Though she faced one defeat against a well-
known first-year prodigy, she still managed to secure a spot in the third round.
On the first day of round three, Shinta experienced a mix of success and setbacks. She secured one victory but also faced a defeat, intensifying the pressure for the following day.
Realizing she couldn't afford any more losses, Shinta fought with an unmatched determination. Every ounce of her energy was channeled into winning the remaining two battles, knowing they were crucial for her to be considered for the final round.
Shinta's desperation fueled her, pushing her beyond her usual limits. Her physical exertion and mental focus combined. Her blood seemed to burn within her veins, a sensation unlike anything she had felt before. Her vision sharpened, her reflexes heightened, and her power surged.
She felt a sudden shift within herself as if a dormant force had awakened.

From a distance, the deputy headmaster, Grand Magus Aurora, couldn't help but smile as she observed Shinta's transformation.
The increase in Shinta's battle power was evident. Her combat prowess had already been formidable, but now, with her newly awakened Calamity Body. This breakthrough not only amplified her physical strength but also enhanced her poison-
based spells significantly.
Despite not tapping into her Shaman Form, Shinta demonstrated remarkable skill and finesse in her battles. Her movements were fluid and precise, each maneuver executed with effortless grace. With a combination of strategic planning and instinctual reflexes, she emerged victorious in both of her matches, securing her place among the top 200 acolytes and earning a coveted spot in the final round.
