"Tia has been like this for a few hours already, never fully waking up. She occasionally makes noises as though she is terrified of something in her dreams, and even if we hold her hand and tell her to do her best, she doesn't respond subconsciously, much less answer us."

Ellia's voice was down. She truly couldn't see this cute, adorable, and soft-spoken diviner whom they all considered their little sister to be suffering in this manner.

Tia had divined so much for them in the past few months, letting them know which missions would allow them to get lucked out and obtain expensive treasures or allow them to encounter special things that would net them more wealth. Such divinations would cost a fortune, but she told them for free every time and simply yet humbly told them it was practice, and it was only making her stronger, leaving them heartened every time.

Even Tina and Dalila were the same, never having taken an immortal crystal for their work. To such precious sisters, she never wanted them to suffer, wanting to protect their smiles at all times, but she couldn't believe she failed to protect them while she was directly watching over them, slightly blaming herself even though she understood that it had probably gotten way out of hand.

Davis also cast a scrutinizing gaze at Tia for a while, making sure that he didn't find any external anomalies with his own karmic gaze. After all, Fallen Heaven was still hiding from him, appearing to be unwilling to talk with him.

Not able to find anything with his current power, he turned to look at Ellia.

"Did you enter her soul sea?"

"We don't dare." Ellia shook her head, "After all, she could be pos-"

Her words suddenly stopped as her eyes slowly widened.

Davis also blinked at Ellia before he turned his head towards the bed, looking at Tia, having sat up like a straight log with her eyes wide. She was looking- no staring at him with an intense gaze.

The room suddenly turned silent.

Everyone's muscles tensed, their energy circulating in their body as they gathered at the tip of their fingers while Davis raised his hand, indicating for them to stop.

No matter if Tia was possessed or not, he had the confidence that he wouldn't be injured.

Tia's lips tried to move, but no sound came out, her eyes rippling with numerous emotions before she suddenly made a move, causing Ellia and Myria's gaze to flicker. They saw her pounce on Davis, her hands reaching out, but with Davis indicating to them not to make a move, they suppressed their impulse to act in self-defense.

Davis slightly shook as Tia fell into his embrace and wrapped her arms around him, hiding her face over his chest as he began to tremble.

"Davis…" Myria urged, barely stopping herself from attacking.

He also stood there stunned, not knowing what to do as he didn't even know if this was an attack or if Tia wanted to hug him. He was completely vulnerable to any attacks as he was locked in a state of physical touch. However, he couldn't bring himself to separate Tia from him as he could sense her emotions.

It was chaotic but full of sorrow.

"You're alive…"

Tia shuddered as she finally voiced out, making Davis blink.

"Tia, you've awaken now? Good, good… Your big brother is here, so don't worry anymore…"

He tried to console her as he gave her head pats, caressing her head, but she still tightly held him, not wanting to let go.

Ellia and Myria looked at each other.

So it was really Tia and not some heaven-forsaken entity? If that was the case, then all was good, but they still kept an eye on her from both sides, their senses still covering Tia as they monitored her moves. They were worried as Davis was still vulnerable, only capable of relying on his soul for defense now.

Ellia tried to understand why Tia could awaken now. Was it coincidental, or was it because she heard Davis's voice?

And what was that about that he was alive? Both Ellia and Myria narrowed their eyes, wondering if she got a glimpse of the future from her divination.

However, when did she perform such a divination? They weren't sure as it could merely be a nightmare, but since she was a Mystic Diviner of the highest caliber in her level, they didn't want to brush her words, especially when it concerned Davis.

Naturally, Tia made a mess out of Davis's clothes as she cried a river on him.

Tia was too emotional. Even if she calmed down, she had a breakdown again, leading Davis to console her again and again like she was an infant who needed constant reassurance.

Davis was still solemn as he knew Tia was a strong girl, so her actions only made him feel that there was more to her than meets the eye.

It wasn't until half an hour that Tia finally stopped crying and went to sleep again. He tried to carefully place her on the bed, but her hands refused to let him go as she still wrapped her arms around his body. He looked to Ellia and Myria for help, but the both of them shook their heads.

Davis could only wryly smile as he also knew that Tia was too attached to him. If his voice and presence were the only reassurance for her, then he had no choice but to stay like that with her. Eventually, he sat on the edge of the bed and made Tia sit on his lap while she rested on his shoulder like an exhausted person, finally having a good sleep as her eyelids didn't seem to be quivering.

"What do you think?"

Myria asked through soul transmission, connecting a three-way channel between her, Ellia, and Davis.

"Well, it's obvious that she's only emotionally unstable and not possessed as I went through her soul sea, unable to find anything."

"Emotionally unstable…" Ellia repeated Davis's words, thinking back to what could've made Tia emotionally unstable.

After Clara started screaming, Tia also started screaming before she suddenly gained a hint of sanity and moved toward Clara to unleash a technique. Then she went on her knees and appeared like she was hit with something, appearing to lose consciousness.

Clearly, something in the realm of consciousness happened at that time.

They tried to discuss various points that held their doubts but ended up contradicting themselves each time.

"If nothing makes sense, then does it have anything to do with the mysterious black-robed woman who stopped us?"

"Who?"

Myria asked, causing Ellia to be confused. Who were they talking about?

"How can that be? We were on different planes…" Davis made a confused expression, "But if that was the case, then-"

Suddenly, his transmission stopped as he saw Tia's eyes open.

Her eyes gradually opened in a flutter before she inclined her head and looked at Davis's face. Her lips parted, her eyes narrowing as she seemed to be thinking something.

"Big brother…"

The eyes of the others lit up as they heard the clarity in Tia's voice.

Tia was conscious right now, so there was a chance she would be able to talk clearly.

They saw her closely look at Davis, a myriad of emotions flashing past her clear purple eyes. Her hands that were already wrapped around his body moved back as she appeared to take them back but then suddenly went forward, holding his cheek on the other side of his face as she moved closer.

"…?"

Davis doubted her intentions when she suddenly closed in and kissed his cheek, and she didn't stop there, placing numerous kisses.

"Wha- Tia? What are you…?"

Davis tried to dodge, but she firmly held his cheek and neck, continuing to kiss his cheeks, even leaning towards his lips, but was dodged each time by him, her kisses falling on his cheeks again.

"…"

Ellia and Myria's lips parted.

The latter went forward, capturing Tia's head as Myria stopped her.

"What kind of sensual possession is this?"

She asked with a cold voice, causing Tia to finally get a hold of herself. She blinked in confusion before her cheeks blushed and ears turned crimson, realizing what she had done for the first time, quickly jumping on the bed as she turned around and kowtowed towards Davis.

"Ah~ Forgive me… I didn't mean to do that!"

'Liar…'

Both Ellia and Myria thought at the same time while Davis rubbed his cheek, wondering what was up with Tia as she was never this bold. Of course, he knew she liked him, but they were nephew and aunt, a line he didn't wish to cross, but it had gone slightly out of bounds just now.

Nonetheless, he was too worried about her well-being to be even bothered about this matter.

He took a breath, looking at Tia with a sincere gaze.

"Tia, I know you're suffering from something right now, but forgive me, as I'm going to need your help in knowing what happened to you and Clara. I need you to stay strong and answer my questions."

Davis demanded in a solemn tone, causing Tia to slowly sit up straight while still kneeling. Her panicked expression left as her gaze fell elsewhere before she turned to look at them again.

"Would you believe me if I said nothing happened?"
