Demon Lord Management Sim Game

150 150 – The Celebration

I teleported to my base with Ritor while carrying the prophet. My followers immediately clapped when they saw me. Because there were so many of them, some had to be in the cave outside the main base.

Except for the scientists I kidnapped, of course. Those three people looked shocked when they saw the prophet in my hands.

"Ritor!" Lana ran to Ritor and hugged the minotaur general's body.

"Are you all right?" Ritor rubbed his lover's head gently.

Lana touched Ritor's bandaged stomach, then said. "I'm fine. Most importantly, how are you doing?"

"I am okay, too," Ritor answered. "These are ordinary injuries that I would definitely pick up in a fight."

"I see." Lana sighed but finally smiled at the huge creature anyway. "Welcome back."

"Your body seems to require examination, my lord." Lexi approached me with a grin. From her expression, I suspected she wanted to touch my body more than treat me. "Later, now there are more important things."

I walked to my throne and then faced my underlings again. Now they have calmed down.

"We have won! We have gone against the will of God by defeating the prophet!" I started my speech full of spirits, making roars of cheers erupt. "In history, there has never been a demon lord who defeated a prophet. This is the first time ever. Do you know what this means?"

Smiling, I glanced at them again. "What that means is, my way is more righteous than the prophet's way! I'm a true savior! And I must rule this world to spread my way!"

They were more excited to cheer me up, giving me immeasurable satisfaction.

"However, this is only the beginning." I looked at the face of the prophet. "We still have a long way to go to dominate this world. Maybe the challenge will be more difficult. So, I want you guys to stick with me on this journey! I wouldn't have been able to reach that great goal without you guys! And I will give you great glory!"

"All hail lord Vorn!!!" Robyn shouted while clenching her fist up.

Others followed the call. "All hail lord Vorn!!! All hail Lord Vorn!!! All hail lord Vorn!!!"

My smile grew wider because of the immense pride. In the past, I never would have thought I could have this many underlings and lead them to rule the world.

But still, something is bothering me. There was someone loyal to me from the start. Yes, if only Phisovia was there to see all of this. I'm sure the joy I feel will be many times over.

Well, for now, there's nothing I can do. I can only wait for good news from Lexi. I couldn't wait to show off what I had accomplished to the red-haired succubus.

"We're going to have a party to celebrate this!!!" I finished my speech by shouting at the top of my lungs.

My subordinates' screams became crazier, shaking my base.

When I brought Velvet to the prison, the shadow members who were being held captive couldn't hide their shock. Maybe they'd been shown Velvet's face in a painting or something, so they'd know who she was.

"Sir Ritooor!!!" Garthur, who is also still in prison for his crimes, was crying hysterically while holding on to the bars. "I'm sorry for not being able to fight by your side!"

And Ritor punched his second in command until he fell. This time the minotaur general said nothing.

I entered the large empty cell next to the men's cell, then placed the prophet on a mattress.

Her body has been cleaned, and her wounds have been treated. There is a silver bracelet on her left hand. That thing is made by Zhoal and will suppress Velvet's power, so she can't escape.

The material of the bracelet was actually developed to restrain dragons. However, the materials used must also be numerous because the dragon was so massive. That's very impractical, and it takes a lot of money.

And the bracelet has been sealed with magic, too. So, Velvet can't let it go.

I covered that woman's body with a blanket and whispered. "You will be mine, Velvet. I am sure of it. Even God would not be able to prevent that."

After caressing her face, I stood up and walked out of the cell. Ozig, the general of the working race, immediately locked that place.

"I know you are still tired, and your body is injured," I spoke to Ritor. "However, there is a possibility that the prophet might escape. I think the one who can hold her is a general with high fighting skills like you. Xenora and Emily were still in their duties. So, my choice is only you, Ritor. Sorry."

"It's okay, my lord." Lana hugged her lover's arm. "I will accompany him."

"Thanks, Lana." I smiled at that woman. "You have no idea how much impact you have on Ritor."

The village woman tilted her head while Ritor cleared his throat. The minotaur general did ask me not to tell Lana about his fight with the prophet.

"I'll take my leave, then." I patted Ritor's arm. "I will send some succubus to take care of the prophet's needs."

The minotaur general bowed. "I will carry out this task well, my lord."

"You think you win by doing this, Vorn?" A shadow member hissed from behind bars. "The Prophet is just a symbol of hope. In the end, resistance to you will still occur."

"How dare you say that!" A minotaur in that cell rose from his seat, followed by the others. Ritor had also approached the cell.

However, I raised my hand to ask them to be quiet.

"Shouldn't a shadow member keep their emotions in check?" I brought my face closer to that man. "Ah, I forgot that your organization has disintegrated, so you don't have to obey the rules."

That man with a face full of beard gave me a sharp look. I just smirked at him.

"I have a few questions," I speak casually. "You guys were waiting for help, right? You assume that one or two shadow members have infiltrated here to free you?"

That man gripped the bars harder.

"Unfortunately, I have confirmed that no other shadow agents have intruded here." I shrugged.

And that's true. The mares had read the minds of the humans living here. They didn't find any blocked memory in those people's minds.

This means that they are ordinary people who really want to join me.

I glanced at Henry, the former commander. He just huddled in the corner of the cell. His body is skinny, even though I still give him enough food.

He's so broken now.

"Bye." I hissed at the shadow member again and continued on my way. Maybe those people look tough, but I'm sure they still feel down hearing that.

Well, it seems I've mastered the art of destroying people's spirits.

And I find it fun to do it.
