I took Bran to one of the biggest caves in the base. That guy immediately opened his mouth when he found the magic horse's pieces, a large box-shaped chariot, and a round core that had been partially broken.

"The Chariot has dimensional magic that can expand space, but over time that magic fades," I explained. "So, all of this had to be put outside of it."

Bran approached them all, raised his dimly lit hand, then shifted his movements between the objects. "This…. These pieces are like communicating with each other."

"Yeah, it's a horse that pulls a chariot, and it can turn into a giant monster, too," I responded while folding my arms across my chest. "Are you able to amplify the signals between them?"

"It is possible, my lord." He continued to examine the objects. "But it takes time to at least get to know these signals more deeply. Then we might be able to construct this thing."

"Well, I have another idea about the signals." I sneered. "Are you able to use them as long-distance communication signals?"

If we have devices that can be used for that, my subordinates will be greatly helped. They can coordinate with each other without needing to go through me.

And as this thing progresses, I envision a large network. Internet that uses magic is something cool, right?

Bran's forehead started to furrow. "But I can't do it alone, my lord."

He was honest that he needed help, even though there was Lexi, who did everything herself. This guy isn't trying to look good, even though I know he's jealous of the doctor. Well, at least it deserves a thumbs-up.

"I'll give you as many shapeshifters as needed." I tapped him on the shoulder. "Thanks, Bran. I was greatly helped by you. Lexi and Zhoal were focusing on other things, so they couldn't take care of this. Besides, Lexi is more skilled at organic matters."

"Errr…" That guy gulped again. "I don't really need shapeshifters, my lord."

I chuckled, wrapped my arms around his neck, then said softly. "I know you hate them for their learning abilities, Bran. However, here's the thing. You are the same as those who used to discriminate against you."

His body began to shake, and his mouth was already open, but he had difficulty speaking.

"Because you are discriminated against, you cannot improve. If you do the same with the shapeshifters I gave you, then they won't be able to evolve either. That would be very inconvenient for me, Bran." I continued in an even colder tone. "Even if you still hate them, bury that feeling. Work professionally. If I hear that your hatred is interfering with your research team's work, I will do something for you."

I should be more strict with people like this. Yes, I can understand why he's behaving this way, but that doesn't mean I'm going to pity him.

"It's not like that, my lord." He lowered his head, finally able to speak. "I might still need shapeshifters, but I need some skilled scientists too…. Because there are many things I don't understand…. I didn't get any more education, after all."

Ah, he looked like he was on the verge of tears. Maybe he is angry because his knowledge is not enough. A man with a poor background and a physique like him won't get the chance he deserves in this world.

"You can ask Lexi or Ayre various things." I smiled at him this time, which made him look even more frightened. "If you still need a lot of scientists to help you, then I will kidnap them from the capital."

We will raid a secret government facility, although we don't know exactly where it is.

"Thank you very much, my lord." That guy bowed. "For the time being, I'll work on my own then."

"Good luck. I'll send out some shapeshifters later." I tapped him on the shoulder for the second time. "Show me that you can shine with this opportunity I'm giving you."

"I-I will do it, my lord!" He bowed again.

Getting a call from Ayre, I flew from that place. "What is it, Ayre?"

"I'm ready to check out the undead cave, my lord." The shapeshifter general responded. "We can leave at any time."

"Ah…" I turned into a long cave that led outside the base. "Wait a minute, I want to chat with Lexi about devil's grains."

"Sure, I'll be waiting near the throne."

I could have talked about this at a distance, but Lexi asked me to come over so I could see the plant specimens.

This is very important too. If the devil's grains are successful, we can increase our harvest many times.

I do have a lot of darkness points because I destroyed a country. Still, I can't just add individuals, either workers or soldiers. They need enough food.

Once at the end of the cave, I knocked on her door. However, she did not give an answer. Even after calling her several times, the doctor still has not responded.

So, I put my ear to the door. Instantly, my chin dropped.

I didn't expect to hear something like this.

If I wasn't a demon lord, I probably wouldn't be able to hear such a fascinating thing. My ears are sensitive compared to normal humans.

With one move, I broke the knob of the locked door, then entered the house. The voice grew clearer.

It seems she forgot to use silencer magic or wasn't using it optimally.

And once I got to the front of her workroom, I could hear it more clearly.

"Ahhnnn…. Lord Vorn…. You will come to me…. Ahnnn…." Lexi's moans were accompanied by the sound of something wet. It's not something that splashes, but like something that rubs against each other.

With growing curiosity, I opened the room door a little to take a peek. How surprised I was when I saw her from the side, completely naked and sitting on the floor.

Her face was red, her eyes were watery, her breathing was so heavy, and her mouth kept moaning. One hand was squeezing one of her own breasts, while the other was in her crotch.

Holy shit. She really masturbated using me as her fantasy. I didn't expect the awkward Lexi to be this perverted.

"Lord Vorn…. I want to be with you…."
