Code Zulu Alpha: Nerd in the Apocalypse!

Everyone got comfortable but once I started to look for a film to play, Olivia called out to me, "Hey! It's gonna be Halloween tomorrow, right? Can we watch something scary? Can we?!"

Kaley was shaking her head towards her little sister already but I turned to Olivia, "You sure about that?"

Olivia looked puzzled but she immediately turned to Kaley who had already stopped looking at her sister funny, "Huh? Of course! It's just a movie!"

I nodded with a faint smile, "Okay~ It really is just a movie… Wait a sec..."

"Yes! I'll turn off the lights too!"

Olivia let out an excited face but she was already covering herself with a blanket and hiding between Kaley and Rin. I chuckled inwardly before I browsed the list but I instantly found a movie perfect to scare the shit out of her. It was a film that featured a person that wanted to get a certain artifact buried in the catacombs of Paris.

All of them were doing fine when it played but it all went wrong when we got to the fucked-up parts. I was hearing sharp gasps turning into nervous laughter at first but it turned into full-on screaming and crying at the end. Even Kaley and Olivia were scared out of their wits while Tatiana was the only one almost unaffected.

As soon as the movie ended, Kaley and Rin were a mess as they were grabbing each other tightly while Rin was tucking herself behind Tatiana's back. I was chuckling inwardly when I turned the lights on and the three almost decided against sleeping for the night. They wanted me to play something funny or different so they could forget about what they just watched but we still got a lot to do tomorrow.

I shook my head as I turned to Olivia, "C'mon! It's 'just' a movie, right?"

"S-Shut up! Hey s-sis, can you sleep with me j-just for tonight? I'm a little--"

Kaley instantly cut her off, "What?! I got scared too, you know! And you want us and Rin alone in the same room after that?! Are you crazy?! I'm sleeping right here! Just cover yourself and don't open your eyes like you always do when you watch horror movies alone!"

Olivia was about to cry, "B-But! Hngh~! Please! Please! Please! Just this once!"

"No!"

Olivia was about to throw a tantrum but she turned to me and snapped, "It's your fault! Why did you even pick that?!"

I raised both of my hands in the air with a hidden smirk, "But you said to pick a horror film! It wasn't that bad, to be honest..."

"Wasn't that bad?! It's like-- like the scariest thing I saw!"

I chuckled, "I've watched things way~ worse. Wanna try those?"

"W-W-Well you've watched them a-already! You're cheat-- Oh!"

"Hmm?"

"I got it! I'll just sleep with you guys here! It's fine, ri-- But don't get any weird ideas!" Olivia suddenly squinted her eyes as she looked at me.

Kaley and I instinctively shook our heads before facepalming but there was another problem with Olivia sleeping with us. I didn't notice that Rin was on board with Olivia's first suggestion and she immediately voiced her disagreement with the current sleeping situation.

"W-Wait! Olivia, if you sleep-- bunk with them, I'll be--"

But Tatiana cut her off, "I'll sleep with you if you like? Just for this night?"

There was a momentary silence when Tatiana gave her suggestion and Rin got beet-red. Aside from that, Olivia was the only that was oblivious even if she insinuated something similar earlier. Kaley couldn't help but shake her head at Olivia but she blushed a little bit when she was looking at the two.

The silence was broken when Rin gave her response.

"I-I... sure..."

"It's settled then, goodnight everyone," Tatiana said as she took Rin's hand.

Rin didn't give much of a fight as she just followed behind Tatiana but she couldn't look at the rest of us in the eye as they left. As soon as they entered their own room, we decided to get ready for bed as well.

"I gotta brush my teeth..."

"Right! Me too! Oh! I need to set an alarm first, I forgot..."

"I'll just clean up the snacks here..."

After a short while, I turned the lights off and we three got on the bed. I was positioned by the wall, Kaley was in the middle, and Olivia was right by the edge. The two were silently chatting about random stuff but instead of shushing them so that I could sleep soundly, I just turned to my side to face the wall.

However, I couldn't help but hear some of their conversations.

"Kaley… do you… d-do you think mom and dad are still… you know..."

It was then that I pretended to sleep.

"Don't worry, they'll be here soon. Dad is built for these things; he'll surely take care of mom. I just really hope they come sooner after they see our note."

"Note? What note?"

"Oh… I thought you saw it but-- Anyway, we left a note telling them that we left the house to go here and told them how to find us. Don't worry, we made it a little difficult for normal people to read it. Only guys like dad and him could… you know..."

"Oh… I see… Is he asleep?"

"Hmm? Him? I think so… why?"

"Nothing… he seems~ kinda weird at first but… I like him now, he's really great and he's really smart… Ah-- I mean like him as a person, not-- you know what I mean..."

Kaley lightly chuckled, "I know, I know… He's more than smart though… you have no idea what he could do--"

"You like him then?"

"Of course, I--"

"Oops, not that. I mean… Have you even said 'that' to each other at least? I don't know about you but I think he really~ likes you a lot..."

"..."

"Sis?"

'We haven't really said that to each other yet, I mean verbally... But I hope she feels the same.'

"Be quiet! He's s-sleeping! We need to sleep now too! It's r-really late!"

Olivia couldn't contain herself as she tried to cover her mouth but the whole bed couldn't stop shaking due to her moving too much. However, hearing Kaley say the same thing I did earlier made me exhale a little louder and faster I did the first few times. I didn't know how Kaley caught that but she suddenly dropped a bomb on us.

"I'm pregnant."

"WHAT?!" Olivia and I shouted at the same time.

I instantly got up and looked at Kaley's expression while Olivia almost fell off the bed when she discovered that I was awake. We couldn't form proper sentences and that was when Kaley started laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I KNEW IT! I'M KIDDING! I'M KIDDING!'"

Olivia was glaring at Kaley comically while trying to calm herself down, "That was too sudden, sis! I almost had a heart attack! And you! Don't you know it's rude to listen in to other people's conversations!"

I shook my head in disbelief, "I had no choice, you two wouldn't stop talking! If you two go on and on, I wouldn't be able to sleep. But enough about that… Kaley! What the hell? I thought--"

Kaley started laughing once more, "Didn't you hear me? I said I was kidding! I'm kidding!"

"But please don't joke like that! I--"

"That was payback for last time! Let's call it quits!"

I started shaking my head as I lightly chuckle but I remember their other conversation, "Hey, Kaley..."

"Hmm?"

"I heard the two of you talking about another thing too..."

"Oh… I--"

"I love you."

Kaley's face turned redder and redder and Olivia also couldn't help but blush when she heard me say it. The two were polar opposites because Kaley was stunned in place while Olivia didn't know what to do with herself. She started running around our room while I kept eye contact with Kaley but I had more to say.

"I mean it, I really do. You know, I was saying the same thing in my head… what you said to Olivia when she asked if we-- you know. This is… this is actually the first time I've said it to anyone and the first time I'm really sure what I'm feeling. You… you asked me before why I'm fidgety but after… that other time… I suddenly changed and became a little too confident… It's… It's… I don't really know how to explain… I changed a lot and I tried hard to learn how to talk to people, read body language, sense what they're feeling, and more but… it's really hard to explain… It's like I go back to myself and forget everything when I met you again… I--"

Kaley suddenly got up and kissed me on the lips before looking back at me and smiling brightly. Even if it was dark, we have the moonlight as our light source and it was enough for me to see her beautiful face. I was now the one that got stunned in place as I looked at her but she planted another kiss before I was able to compose myself.

"I--"

"It's fine, really. If you keep explaining it, it would ruin the moment! Also..."

Kaley leaned closer to me until we were almost kissing but she wrapped her arms around me before whispering the same three-word phrase I said to her earlier. It was then that I started kissing her but there was a little interruption.

Olivia's voice resounded a little too close to our ears, "Umm… Did you two just forget about me? I'm still here, you know!"

Kaley almost snapped, "We're just kissing! We just said it to each other, d'you want us to shake hands?!"

"Wha-Wha-What?! You did?! I didn't hear! Umm-- But-- I'm still here! Better make sure that's all you d-do! Don't have any weird ideas!"

As soon as Olivia said that, Kaley and I started laughing. Olivia let out a nervous laugh after that but I soon joined them with their little conversations. It was a lot better than pretending to sleep and I didn't even notice that my eyes had already closed shut. However, Houston, we have a problem.

I just woke up and I found out that I was between the two sisters. They were both hugging me and we actually did a fucking shuffle. Olivia was now by the wall and Kaley was now by the edge. Their bodies were pressing against me and I couldn't move a single inch.

'How the fuck did we end up in this position? This is bad...'

I managed to raise my head a little bit but all I saw was Kaley's M70 leaning by our cabinet.

'Oh, she must've gone to watch duty already… but how did Olivia go to the other side of the bed? That's impossible!'

Feeling a little bit uncomfortable with the position, I tried to slowly wiggle my way out of Olivia's embrace but lo and fucking behold, I was pinned in place. I could easily overpower her and turn her over but she would instantly wake up in the process. She was the only person I know that could exhibit such strength while sleeping and I had to find another way.

'Now I know what Zeus felt...'

All I could move freely was my head but before I looked above, they both hugged me even tighter and now their faces were so close to mine, strands of their hair assaulted my face.

'FUCK!'

I had no choice but to try and sleep in an even more uncomfortable position but after a few minutes of just closing my eyes, I still couldn't sleep a fucking wink.

'Don't they get itchy when they have so much hair?! Haaa… maybe they just got used to it eventually… I can't even grow my hair like theirs since it gets so itchy at the back… Dammit, now the back of my head is getting itchy too...'

I tried once more to just close my eyes and try to sleep but it still wasn't working.

'FUCK! I'M FULLY AWAKE AND I CAN'T MOVE! SHIT! Will I just be talking to myself until sunrise? My legs are starting to lose feeling too… It's gonna get even worse soon...'

I was about to get cramps so I slowly tried to shimmy my legs off the two. However, I heard Olivia mumble in her sleep and stopped in place. That caused me to be back in the same position but I got to move them for a little bit. Their hairs were prickling my face but I tried to busy my head with other thoughts.

'What is that? *sniff* Is that green apple? Kinda better than cool menthol but--'

"Hmmrgh…"

'Who was that? Is that Olivia again? Haa… who cares… What time is it anyway? I can't even check since they held my arms hostage… Hmm… still dark outside though… maybe a few minutes after Kaley's shift?'

All of a sudden, the two almost moved simultaneously as they laid on their backs, finally letting go of me. I was so fucking happy I got to fucking stretch my arms and my legs for a few seconds but as luck would have it. Kaley grabbed onto me first while Olivia followed. Kaley seemed like she was a little too cold because she wasn't in a blanket while Olivia seemed to be having small episodes of what she watched earlier.

We were back in the same position a few seconds ago and I was this close to letting loose.

'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Are they playing a prank on me?! Are they?! SHIT!!! Well… they couldn't hold their laughter this long… Wait-- Who was that? Oh no...'

I heard faint scratches from my door and I immediately assumed that it was Zeus. I tried to whistle so he would stop but these two's hairs found a way to be obstructions. The two were about to wake up due to Zeus but he stopped at the critical moment. I wasn't any better a few minutes ago and I completely lost feeling in my legs.

'Goodbye, my legs~ It's been an honor~ o7'

My legs started feeling prickly-tickly but it suddenly turned to fucking full-on cramps. I was about to push the two off of me but Olivia suddenly let go and curled the other way. However, to avoid being in the same spot the last few times earlier, I turned to Kaley's side to hug her but to my surprise, she turned opposite me even if she was already by the edge.

One thing led to another and a dull thud was produced.

We both fell off the bed because we rolled too much and Kaley landed on top of me. The pain on my legs subsided but they were still numb. Her full weight was now pressing against me but she slowly woke up as she rubbed her eyes. The first thing she was that she was on top of me but she didn't try to get off.

"Hmmmngh~ What? Huh? Sky? Did w-we fell down? Did I pull you? S-Sorry…"

"N-No… I was about to turn towards you but you turned as well... You were holding my arm at that time and I was having cramps for a while, and I pushed a little too hard…"

"R-Really? S-Sorry... Wait… Your legs were cramping for a while?"

"Well~ Two sisters decided to pin me in place multiple times and I, being the good person that I am, didn't want to take the two of you… So, one thing led to another and I'm regretting my life choices..."

Kaley lightly chuckled as she wrapped her arms around me, "Then it's all your fault… Oh, am I heavy? Do you want me to move?"

"It's a trap, that question…"

"Hmph! Just say so, I won't get mad..."

"Really~? But..."

"Hmm?"

"Why would I let someone with a face so beautiful and a body as devastating to get off of me? You're crazy, you need more sleep?"

"Pfft! Smooth. You wanna see crazy though?"

"Hmm?"

Kaley suddenly wore a devilish smile before she bit her lip and leaned over until we could feel each other's breath. After that, she just started to move her body ever so slowly, grinding her body against mine. I couldn't see as much but I could definitely feel her body with my own being. Our breathing was starting to get faster and faster while our bodies started to get hotter and hotter.

'Ah shit, here we go again.'
