William Davis was feeling proud of himself. When he saw how Emilia was visibly mad, he felt even happier.

Accepting gifts was always something common, and they usually wouldn't talk about it publicly. Now that Hendric Smith mentioned it, there was only one reason.

It must be because Hendric Smith loved it. Following that, would Mr. Smith be announcing that he would become allies with Davis?!

As he thought about it, he subconsciously became more arrogant.

After all, for honorable guests like Hendric Smith, he definitely wouldn't bat an eye if the gifts were something ordinary. However, it would be different if they were priceless antiques, especially exquisite paintings.

The rest of the room was incredibly envious as their jaws fell to the ground.

The gifts that they presented last night were too cheap compared to what William Davis had prepared.

Otherwise, wouldn't they be getting the spotlight now from Hendric Smith?

Especially when the 'Kiss of Judas' was the last gift that she got from her grandfather whom she loved most! The meaning behind it was so much more than what met the eye!

Forget about Emilia, even the socialites who were at the scene, felt that William Davis had gone too far!

But….there wouldn't be anyone who would be dumb enough to stand up for Emilia and point their fingers at William Davis.

Emilia clenched her fist. Her eyes were burning with rage, but she had to hold it in!
