275 My Grandfather!

It was regretful and for some regrets, once it happened, it would be there for a lifetime!

Take this for an example. Oliver Walker didn't get to see his grandfather for the last time before he died. He felt extremely guilty because of it.

Therefore, there were tears in his eyes!

"Grandpa!"

"This is a toast for you. I hope you can forgive my unfilial behaviour!"

Oliver Walker looked at the old man on the tombstone with a kind smile and drank the wine in his glass in one go.

Although he was only a son-in-law who married into Davis's family, he had never considered himself an outsider.

This was especially so for Emilia's grandfather, who was also an important reason why he chose to remain silent after his return. This was why he was unwilling to lay his hands on Davis several times.

"But don't worry, I won't break it till it collapses!"

"I'm sure that's not what you want to see!"

"But if I don't change the person in charge, I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself one day."

"You know my temper. Davis's property will only remain in the hands of those from the Davis family."

"Emilia was your most beloved granddaughter when you were alive. I believe you won't have any objections, right? "

He, who was guarding in front of the gravestone, muttered to himself with a bitter smile. He even paused for a moment, hoping to get a response.

 But ...

The old man had already left, so how could he possibly answer?

"After this is over, I'll come back to you and ask for your forgiveness. I hope that your old spirit in heaven won't blame Emilia if we've done anything that'll piss you off."

"She doesn't know what I'm doing and she doesn't want me to do it."

"If you want someone to be punished, you can punish me."

After another moment of silence, Oliver Walker stood up with a self-deprecating smile.

He had always valued relationships and loyalty, but in the end, he had been forced to this extent.

He didn't even know if he was doing the right thing!

But no matter what, since he had already made his decision, there would be no changes.

 "Grandpa, I'll drink first!"

"Take your time. I'll bring Emilia and Olivia to visit you next time!

 "Gulp gulp gulp ..."

After gulping down a bottle of wine, Oliver Walker turned around. The taxi did not have the authority to enter the cemetery so it was still parked outside waiting.

He still needed to walk some distance!

"Mr. Walker, you should leave quickly!"

"I just received a call. Micheal Davis is also here to visit the grave."

"If he sees this, I ... I will definitely ..."

The caretaker of the graveyard smiled bitterly as he pleaded.

If it wasn't for the money, he wouldn't have dared to let this person in.

Although he didn't finish his sentence, the fear in his eyes already said it all!

Oliver Walker took out a check and said, "Take good care of my grandfather. Don't let him suffer!"

Then, he turned around and left!

When the manager saw the number on the check, he was shocked!

Oliver Walker had already given him a thousand yuan in cash when he first arrived at the grave.

And now, Oliver Walker had just given him a check of a million yuan!!

His hands were shaking as he nodded and bowed in excitement. "Mr. Walker, please don't worry. From now on, I will treat Mr Davis as my own grandfather!"

 "No..."

"I will treat him better than I treat myself. If you have the time, please come back and visit him."

This was a million Yuan!

For someone like him who dealt with dead people all day long, his pay was considered adequate but with a monthly salary of ten thousand Yuan would require eight to nine years of hard work to save up a million Yuan!

He really did not know why Oliver Walker, who was kicked out of Davis, would be so generous.

 It was simply ...

 He was stunned!

With such reward, he couldn't wait for Oliver Walker to come every day!

Forget about referring to Mr Davis as his grandfather, he didn't mind it if he had to call Oliver Walker his father!

"You ... No... No, no... "

 "Grandpa, take care!"

The man bowed and nodded repeatedly at Oliver Walker's back. He was so pleased with himself that he had forgotten his manners.

He held the check in his hand like it was a treasure and kept it in his arms but he forgot that the two bottles of National Wine in front of the tombstone had not been packed.

At the exit of the cemetery ...

Just as Oliver Walker was about to get into a car and leave, Micheal Davis's fleet of cars drove in slowly ...
