Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

947 Chapter 947 Northguard School of Mages

"Don't worry about me. Big Brother Song Shuhang is there. He'll make sure to keep me safe." Feng'er said to her parents.

"…" Feng'ers mother and father could not say anything contrary to that. One should know that the identity of our very own protagonist had change quite drastically in just the span of a single day.

Never had they thought that the useless freeloader would turn out to be a powerful mage in the end.

"Promise that you'll come visit us next month or even at an earlier date than that, Feng'er." The mother wept in the advent of her departing daughter.

"I'll try, mom. I promise!" This was all Feng'er could do. She did not want to cry again and so she kissed her parents goodbye and hugged them tightly. She then turned around and left.

This time around, she failed in holding her tears back. She from the mage Mo Chu herself that her studies would conclude in at least 10 years of both rigorous training and learning.

Coming back early was definitely out of the equation.

"Everybody makes sacrifices, Feng'er. This is life." Our bored gamer commented in his lonesome.

It did not need telling that he had been spying unto Feng'er since the moment she exuded that unknown power from within her body. This was one of the things that had changed in the novel.

Clark did not even know the real Feng'er in the book. She was merely a usual side character that would soon be forgotten after a few chapters but she has transcended her fate way above that.

"Now it can only get even more interesting." Clark smiled and walked out from the humble room that he had stayed for months in hiding. He was greeted by a great sight thereafter.

The entire village was well awake and in alert. Everyone was here to send the travelers today. This much they could do.

"Let's go." Mo Chu said and cast one of her handy spells.

"Wings of the Wind! Guide me!" Mo Chu activated and her form slowly rose into the air. She was not alone in flight since Wan Min and Feng'er was also affected in the spell.

Three wingless humans flew and our bored gamer followed in their track. He activated no spell and chanted no word whatsoever. His body just glided freely in the sky.

"Now and forever! The Smallwick Village will always be your home!" The four travellers were honored by the words of the villagers. It was both a sad and happy event for them.

This was true especially for the legion of boys in the place. They all wanted to become Feng'ers mate but alas, she fell in love with someone else. It was a familiar drama of life.

And just like the rest that had come before them, they would get over this disappointment soon enough.

The journey took a full week from start to finish. The party would stop at inns or just sleep amongst nature at night time.

There was no rush at all so they could take their time if they wanted and that was exactly what they did. At the dawn of the seventh day, they arrived amongst the clouds.

There they saw many floating big chunks of rocks and at their midst was their final destination.

"Oh. My. Lord." Feng'er could not help but cover her mouth in shock. She could see a large city at the center. It was not bound in land but was flying high amongst the heavens.

This was probably the greatest thing she had laid her eyes on.

"It's so huge!" Wan Min mirrored Feng'ers expression. Both of them were stunned but the same could not be said to our very own protagonist. He had seen better in his long life.

"Welcome to Northguard School of Mages!" Mo Chu said lively but was slightly dissatisfied when she noted the neutral gaze on our good gamer's face.

Nevertheless, that has not stopped her from being a great host towards Feng'er and Wan Min. She led them into the city and regarded them as priceless treasures in her hands.

This was simply because of their association with our very own protagonist. She could see much returns in her doing so.

"Lord Mage Infinite Ocean is waiting for you, Fellow Mage Song Shuhang." Mo Chu said in the evening.

This has only been made possible because of the weird mage signature that our avid gamer was releasing in the most subtle ways. It was not strong but it was present all the same.

It did not need telling that the greatest mage in the house would soon find this oddness.

"Thank you, Fellow Mage Mo Chu." Clark replied with the same formal tone.

"Move. Don't waste the time of our Lord Mage." A male voice interrupted on the side before Mo Chu could ever respond. Mo Chu was of course not alone at this time.

She had a full dozen mages alongside her. It was obvious that this predicament attracted a serious treatment. Nobody wanted to be careless regarding someone of unknown origins.

"Lead the way then." Our bored gamer shrugged. It was in his favor to make this quest quick. Wasting time was none of his business after all.

"WHOOSH!"

"WHOOSH!"

"WHOOSH!"

The man started the brief trip and the rest followed him perfectly. Their bodies were akin to phantoms in the dark corridors of the place.

In the middle of the formation was our very own protagonist who kept up with the pace of the guard team. The world slowed down considerably around him.

It has only indicated how fast they were all moving in comparison to the rest of the world. Almost five minutes later, they arrived in a colossal bright room.

This was not a private chamber at all but more of a true battlefield.

'Hehehe. These mages are far from stupid at all. I expected nothing less.' Our bored gamer mused inside.

"From which faction do you come from?" A deafening voice arrived first before his body even appeared on the scene.
