Chi Jiao’s yell attracted a lot of attention.

The youth in the black leather jacket looked at the girl trembling as she squatted on the ground. He couldn’t help but grin. “It’s too late to be afraid now!”

The hand holding his wrist was like an iron clamp, almost crushing the bones in his wrist. It hurt so much that he gritted his teeth.

He turned around and was caught off-guard by a pair of malicious and ruthless eyes.

“Who are you? Let go of me!” Just as the youth in the black leather jacket spoke, a fist landed swiftly and ruthlessly on his nose bridge.

The youth’s vision turned black as he held his nose and cried out miserably. He took several steps back before barely stabilizing his body.

Not far away, the few youngsters who had been looking over saw what happened. They held onto some beer bottles and walked over.

Quan Jue walked to Chi Jiao, who was squatting on the ground and hugging her head, trembling, and stared at her with dark eyes. “Stand up.”

Hearing a familiar voice above her, Chi Jiao’s lips curled up slightly. Then, as she looked up, her eyes filled with grievance as she looked at the young man standing in front of her.

“Brother Quan.”

Quan Jue couldn’t stand the way Chi Jiao looked at him with her misty eyes the most.

“Why are you still squatting there? Preparing to grow mushrooms?” Quan Jue looked away, his tone as cold as ever.

“My, my legs are numb.” The young lady’s soft voice seemed to be laced with a sobbing tone.

Quan Jue rubbed his brows in frustration before reaching out to her.

A small and soft hand was placed in his palm, emanating a slight warmth.

Quan Jue held her hand tightly and pulled her up from the ground.

“Big Bro, are you alright?” The three teenagers rushed to the youth in the black leather jacket and asked with concern.

The teenager wiped the blood from his nose and stared at Chi Jiao and Quan Jue viciously. “Cripple that man and bring the woman to me!”

The few youngsters immediately surrounded Quan Jue and Chi Jiao.

Quan Jue could feel the sweat in Chi Jiao’s palms. He turned to look at her and saw that she was staring at him with her black, glass-like eyes. He couldn’t help but soften his tone as he said, “Close your eyes. It’ll be over soon.”

Chi Jiao closed her eyes obediently.

The ecstasy in her heart was like a tornado.

She was finally holding his hand.

It seemed like he didn’t hate her as much as it seemed!

This knowledge made Chi Jiao so excited that she almost couldn’t control herself.

She had a shortcoming. She perspired easily when she was excited.

Therefore, she closed her eyes and waited at ease.

Slowly opening her eyes, she saw the three youths groaning on the ground. They seemed to be in a pitiful state.

The young man in the black leather jacket was still standing, but he looked at Quan Jue as if he had seen a ghost, and his legs refused to stop trembling.

He had just seen with his own eyes how ruthless Quan Jue was in the fight earlier.

This young man was simply a madman. He was certain that if killing wasn’t illegal, this young man would have killed all of them earlier.
