"Keep this from Zhang Naipao, I want to give him a surprise," Lin Yi said.

"Of course!" Yu Bing quickly nodded, "You really did give me a good fright yesterday! I still thought that you were trying to console me, who would have thought that you were speaking the truth!"

"It's okay, let's go grab something to eat. We can try getting some information too?" Lin Yi wanted to get some information out of Feng Nitian. It was always good to learn about your enemy before entering the battle field.

"My condition right now.... I can't just go out like that, right?" Yu Bing pointed at the swollen cheeks and smiled bitterly.

Lin Yi activated the art of dragon mastery and gently rubbed agaisnt Yu Bing's face with his palms. "Done, we can go now, can't we?"

"Done?" Yu Bing flinched. Was this a joke? But then he just realised that he couldn't feel the pain anymore! He touched his cheeks subconsciously to find out that the swollen parts were back to normal- it was as if they had never been swollen in the first place!

"Yeah!" Lin Yi confirmed as he nodded.

"I'm going to go insane soon!" Yu Bing looked at Lin Yi, there was a hope in his eyes, "You actually do have the ability to heal? How is that possible? I thought only people from House Sun could do that? Are you somehow related to them?"

"Related? I don't think so.... but if you really want to know, House Sun's Sun Jingyi is my half lover..." Lin Yi said.

"Half lover?" Yu Bing startled but he didn't ask further than that. He wondered why Lin Yi would accept Sun Jingyi and other women but not Xiao Ning? Was it really because of the resistance from his family?

"It's a fake one," Lin Yi smiled, "We are just lover by name, let's go and get something to eat."

"Sure..." Yu Bing took a deep breath in. In these two days, he had encountered and witnessed all sorts of despicable men, his heart was pounding like the hooves of a dear! Yesterday was Zhang Naipao and today was Feng Nitian. However, things didn't just stop there, the person right in front of him was far more powerful than the two of them and he had almost taken him out of the list!

At this point, Yu Bing was impressed at how good his sister's eyes were. His father was really an idiot for distancing away from Lin Yi. Lin Yi was from a totally different existence but his dad and grandpa couldn't see any value in him!

One had to know how valuable House Sun's arts were. Even the hidden noble house and normal sect fought to form alliances and engagements with them, let alone the common noble houses! Back in the days, there was once an engagement between House Sun and the ancient sect, what they were looking for was none other than House Sun's special healing ability and the ability to transfer one's strength to another!

However Lin Yi could also heal people too, just like House Sun. But did he have the same limitation?

Thinking until this point, Yu Bing couldn't hold back his curioustiy as he asked, "Lin Yi, is your healing ability accessible to everyone?

"Yeah, even animals too," Lin Yi nodded.

"Even animals...." Yu Bing took a deep breath again. He found hope in Lin Yi's answer, "How about an ancient spirit beast? Does it work?"

"Maybe...." Lin Yi nodded and looked at Yu Bing with questioning eyes, "Why do you ask?"

"When Xiao nNing was young, she rescued an injured ancient spirit beast, since then, it has been staying in our home. We've invited countless of doctors to medicine makers to treat the beast but no one could treat it. Luckily, the ancient spirit beast is a tough one and as long as he has pure qi in his body, he can prolong his life. My sister has been taking care of it all these years...." Yu Bing explained, "My sister hopes that she can someday find someone to heal this ancient spirit beast, do you think you can help?"

"...." Lin Yi couldn't believe his question would bring him to a problem this big. If Lin Yi were to accept Yu Bing's request now, he would inevitably meet and interact with Yu Ning but could he still reject Yu Bing's request?

There was no way he could reject this request. Even if Yu Bing didn't ask for this favor, it was just a piece of cake to Lin Yi. He still remembered when he was injured, Yu Ning wanted to tell him something and that message alone was more than enough to make Lin Yi offer his help!

Hence, Lin Yi smiled bitterly and said, "If there's an opportunity, naturally....."

Both of them left the inn and walked towards the nearest hawker stall. Many participants were there to eat as well. The story of Lin Yi being crippled by Zhang Naipao was no secret so when they saw Lin Yi here, all of them stared at him with mixed feelings.

Some pitied him, some laughed at him, some were celebrating at his misfortune but some wondered why hadn't left the place, what exactly was he still doing there?

However, Lin Yi ignored all of them and found himself a table as he sat down with Yu Bing. He casually ordered some food and started eating.

Many of the people there were just curious about the situation but when Lin Yi and Yu Bing started to eat, they couldn't be bothered by Lin Yi anymore as they continued the topic they had left off. However, some conversations changed topics to Zhang Naipao and Feng Nitian when they saw Lin Yi right across them.

"Did you see him? We can't possibly offend Zhang Naipao from the ancient sect, otherwise, we would become the next victim like Ling Yi there!" One of the disciples from the hidden noble house lowered his voice as he commented. Although his voice was low, Lin Yi and Yu Bing didn't have trouble hearing them. Everyone was a practitioner here, the distance wasn't very far either, so naturally, they could hear it loud and clear!

However, Lin Yi and Yu Bing acted like nothing happened- they were here for information, of course, they wouldn't make a fuss and just sat there, gathering information as silent as possible.

"Feng Nitian is from the ancient House Feng, does that mean that he is at the same rank as an ancient sect. We are just participants from hidden noble houses and normal sects, we can't possibly make them our enemies!" The other guy added, "During the test, we should avoid them at all cost. Meeting them will only die faster."
