I still hoped to enjoy some warmth and gentleness from you during the time you are using me. I don’t care how short-lived or fake it is. But now it appears you have no intention of bluffing me at all. You… don’t even plan to use me. Gu Mengmeng was speechless. She quietly took a small step backward.

She knew that if she directly rejected him, Gregory would never listen to her listing all the pros and cons. That was why she had pretended to be willing to accept him, so that he would patiently hear her out.

She thought that after listening to her speech, he would scold Gu Mengmeng “bitch” before turning to leave without even a backward glance. Who knew this bird man would refuse to act according to script.

Males might be easily accepted into the family but then forgotten thereafter. Apart from the first partner and a few specially favored ones, most females had no idea how many other partners they had. Like Nina and Ellie, they really didn’t even know the names of their own partners.
