Beastmaster of the Ages

C.2107 - World of Magnificence

Chapter 2107 - World of Magnificence

The hundred thousand divine astralships quickly zoomed past the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. Even a large fleet like that left not a single trace once it was swallowed up by the darkness of Ebonia.

The black fire and lightning ceaselessly collided in the boundless world, sending loud, crackling rumbles all throughout. Black metallic grains could be seen forming into streams, constantly colliding with one another and creating fiery sparks that dotted the dark waves like glitter. Further beneath them were black storms that carried sharp rock shards and many cold streams.

That was all contained within the cloud layer of Ebonia, which was ten thousand times thicker than the flaming cloud layer of the sun. Without divine astralships, Tianming wasn't even sure he would be able to safely pass through it. It was likely that solarians or below would definitely perish if they attempted to cross that layer with their own bodies. The surface storms of this world might be even more terrifying than the rampant nova source within the sun's core, and that was before the astralguard formation of Ebonia had been activated. How powerful would the astralguard formation of a world like this be? Someone like Tianming, who was from a heliacal-class world, simply couldn't imagine it.

He was still in deep awe from the Swordgod Lin Clan.

"Does your father's eighth incarnation have any ties to the Prime Infinitum Trade Union? I think they also bear the Lin surname," Feiling asked, shaking his arm.

"Perhaps. I'll only find out if I go in." He took a deep breath. After two and a half years of travel, he had finally arrived. Anticipation of Ebonia and the Infinitum Bodhimanda had long been building up within him.

"Now that I've come to the highest-class world in this part of the universe, I can no longer act like the ruler of the sun. I'm just a normal person in Ebonia, not someone who controls the lives of billions of people." It was important for him to get in the right mindset, or it would be all too easy for him to lose his life.

"The beginning will no doubt be the most difficult part. I must be incredibly careful while I still don't know much about this world." He was still completely clueless about the huge, mysterious world before him.

"Let's go!" He followed the fleet of giant swords toward the surface of Ebonia. However, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb couldn't keep up with their speed and soon lost them. The tomb looked like a leaf in a raging stream, constantly being pushed around by stormy waves. Feiling and the rest had to stick close to Tianming to prevent being slammed around in the ship. The ship had all its defenses engaged, but even so, quite a lot of debris still continued damaging it.

"It's like we're really going into hell," Tianming said with a pained smile. Going from a heliacal-class world straight to an infinitum-class world was a gigantic leap, and some consequences were only to be expected. All of a sudden, his status had been reset to that of a normal person, and that was something he had to get used to. He was even accompanied by three girls. "I have to protect them. That’s my utmost responsibility."

He mentally prepared himself as best he could. The days of nonstop rumbling inside the ship continued on. After three and a half days, they finally broke through the surface storms of the star and reached Ebonia! Even so, there would still be another day and a half before they truly reached the surface below. The distance between land and sky was truly staggering. From the surface, even a beast as large as Lan Huang would look no larger than a single mosquito, and humans would be nothing more than specks of dust.

"Wow, how beautiful...." The color black usually symbolized evil, darkness, hell, and the abyss, so Tianming and the rest imagined that the surface of Ebonia would be just as hellish as the storms they had passed through. However, they were completely mistaken. The world around them was indeed black, but it couldn't be mistaken for the storms above. It had black seas. continents, mountains, rivers, and even deep crevices, but they all gave off a tranquil beauty like that of black roses or crystals. The star 'glowed' faintly black as well.

The boundless, seemingly flat world beneath them looked like a beautiful mirror with a glassy sheen, reminding them of the flowing black hair of a noble beauty. Veiled in blackness and surrounded constantly by black clouds in the sky, it didn't look dark in the slightest. The boundless world was filled with light of all colors, ranging from crimson, orange, green, blue, violet, and more. The countless points of light looked like billions of pearls scattered all across nature. The world as a whole looked like a black sea filled with colorful pearls. It was as if Tianming and the rest had returned to the astralscape above, the dark void that was illuminated by countless distant stars of varying shades. The omnipresent black glow also added an ambiance of romance and mystique.

"I thought this world would be just like hell, and it would be the most savage and bloody world of all that we've seen. But who knew that it'd be more beautiful than any world we've come across beneath the stormy clouds?" Perhaps the star's true appearance was that of an obsidian pearl of breathtaking beauty, giving off an aura of vast strength and perfection! It was the main star of the Infinitum Mundus, so there was no way it would really be a hell. While it could be hell for the weak, there was no better haven than this for the strong.

......

Tianming, being a newcomer and foreigner, didn't dare to mess around. He slowed down and tried blending in with the natives as he descended.

"The illuminated spots are probably settlements. They might be private territories that don't just let people in for no reason.... It's better for us to land somewhere rural first. We can send Yin Chen out to scout the place and help us blend in better."

The others agreed—safety was their utmost priority. They didn't know the rules, top factions, local culture, who the elites were, or the political games that were being played. Not to mention, they were still not beyond the power level of astral physiques. As such, Tianming decided that they would remain hidden for at least a month before taking further action.

"We've been traveling for two years, so another month won't be a big deal." He wouldn't be bored with the girls around, either.

"Why’re you such a wuss? We've reached a new place! Why don't we just charge straight in?" Ying Huo condescendingly said.

"You don’t understand. We have no backing at all here, and everything we've seen so far just goes to show that we amount to practically nothing here." While he might be able to compete in terms of talent, given that he was the top genius in the entire Mysterium Cluster, he wouldn't be able to rank in the top hundred million on the Infinitum Stele's ranking. There would be many dangers that he was still ill-equipped to handle. What kind of world awaited him beyond the limits of the astral physique? He deeply wanted to know.

The ship gradually continued its descent.

"That area over there has the smallest concentration of lights. Human activity there must be the lowest." He picked that spot to be safe. There was a continent about the size of Flameyellow there, which seemed sparse enough. Tianming sent Yin Chen down to scout the nearby area just in case.

"Land ahoy!" Eventually, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb finally landed in a dense forest.
