Chapter 1295 - Angel City (Part 2)

Saleen paused. "The dragon soul within this scroll, what level is it?"

"level 16!"

"What level is its current power at?"

"level 16!" Inbosa said eagerly. "Give me the method for entering the underground warehouses, and this scroll is yours. I will handle the metal angels, and we will divide the items equally in half!"

"What are you looking for?"

"You don't need to worry about it. Is it alright or not?"

Saleen no longer hesitated. If he entered the underground warehouse, dealing with the metal angels would be a problem. Many of his balls of lightning had already been consumed. He could still mobilize four today. The four balls of lightning were used to protect his life.

Inbosa was willing to help Saleen deal with the metal angels, and Saleen did not mind continuing to gain wealth either.

"Hurry, Alchemy City will react very quickly. We will be able to clear out two warehouses at most. After that, it will be a bitter fight!" Inbosa hurrying Saleen was a rare sight, and he no longer worried about showing courtesy. His half metal face was slightly distorted with nerves.

Saleen tossed the level 11 Dissolution Spell Scroll at Inbosa. Inbosa saw the scroll and couldn't help but smile bitterly. He also had the means to create it, but his chance of success was much lower than Saleen's because he lacked starline paper.

Furthermore, very few mages were willing to cultivate a level 11 Dissolution Spell when they were at level 10. Most mages would choose a strong offensive magic spell.

Saleen was able to have many Dissolution Spells because Metatrin City's mages had more choice, and it was not urgent for them to pursue combat capabilities.

Inbosa attacking Alchemy City was not without purpose. He saw that Saleen was able to enter within the underground warehouses and immediately thought of the item that he needed. The opportunity would not come back once it was lost. Inbosa made a split decision, taking on the responsibility of fending off the metal angels. Even if he had to give Saleen half of the benefits, he still wanted to locate that item.

"How much of a guarantee do you have?" Saleen did not forget to ask.

"Within approximately three warehouses, I will have two chances." As Inbosa spoke, he summoned his Iron Blood warriors. Twelve Iron Blood warriors with lively expressions in their eyes stood on the metal disc. They surrounded Inbosa and rushed towards the southeast part of the city.

Saleen lay down an order for Rossen, for the enchanters to focus on dealing with the two giant statues. As of the other metal angels, they did not have to pay them any mind.

The giant statues were the backbone of Alchemy City. The metal angels had all been summoned. Without killing the enchanter, the metal angels would be infinite.

Alchemy City's stores would definitely be able to summon sufficient numbers of metal angels.

Who knew which god's divine kingdom Alchemy City had obtained to make them able to summon this many angels. Saleen had already lost all hope for them to defeat Alchemy City. He simply hoped that Grand Duke Iron Blood would kill as many enemies as he could and take away their assets.

At the core of Alchemy City, a huge magic array was flowing with golden liquid. For each half an hour, three metal angels appeared in the magic array. The golden liquid continuously emerged between nine magical towers. The number of metal angels was slowly increasing. In the magical tower, the nine grand mages filled with anxiety.

They had summoned the metal angels, but they had delayed the restoration of the magic amplifier. There was no way for such summons to be stopped. The enemy's casualties were undoubtedly large, but because they lacked the assistance of the magic amplifier, Alchemy City's mages suffered similar losses.

The metal angels were ferocious, but they did not know how to distinguish friend from foe. Alchemy City's mages were accidentally injured by the metal angels. It seemed to be a three way battle.

Saleen's territory expanded. Although it could not control the metal angels' movements, but most of the battle was within his perception.

The metal angels' numbers were increasing. The periphery of Alchemy City had been destroyed by Grand Duke Iron Blood's large joint puppet. However, the Bug Angel Warriors' battle had met with an obstruction. They were not able to resist the attacks of the giant statues and the metal angels.

Saleen called for Sika and Nailisi to follow him, leave the city center, and follow behind Inbosa. Inbosa headed to an underground warehouse. Metatrin City also had underground warehouses, hidden even deeper.

The 12 Iron Blood warriors at Inbosa's side looked strange to Saleen. They were controlled by human body alchemy and typically looked dazed and silly and were much worse than his own ancient warriors. The 12 Iron Blood warriors had a ferocious gaze, and a dark and cold aura was emitted from their bodies.

"Master, do you think this Inbosa has lost his mind?" Nailisi asked from behind Saleen.

"What do you mean?"

"His soul… split again. At this rate, even if he has secret arts, he will lose control eventually." The jade green glow of Nailisi's two eyes flashed as they looked at Inbosa.

Soul-splitting…

Saleen recalled the last time he fought with Inbosa. He had been able to kill Inbosa, but he had escaped. It seemed that Inbosa had relied on was a soul-splitting spell.

Nailisi switched to use soul communication to speak to Saleen. "Master, be on guard against Inbosa. Once the time comes when he is unable to control this skill, even Grand Duke Iron Blood will not be safe."

Saleen nodded. Inbosa had modified himself into half human and half machine for the sake of power. Now he had also split his soul in an attempt to gain even stronger power. It seemed that he was indeed a little crazy.

Grand Duke Iron Blood was such a calm person. Why would he use of Inbosa, who was crazy? Was it simply because of his alchemy skills?

Saleen was unable to understand. He knew that he had Water Flame Alchemy and did not need to beg others for any matters, so he did not feel that Inbosa was particularly important. Perhaps to Grand Duke Iron Blood, Inbosa's usefulness could not be replaced.

"This won't do!" The Elemental Hand's nine mage trainers felt things were not good. One of the mage trainers transmitted a sound to his partner. "The summoning speed of the metal angels is too slow. If we wait for the summoning to be complete, the city will be completely destroyed!"

"Then what should we do?"

"Why don't we summon an archangel that can bring all the angels along at the same time!"

"That's too dangerous." Immediately, there were some mages who objected.

"We can take this opportunity to restore the magic amplifier. As long as the magic amplifier is restored, our magic arrays will be able to join up and form an ancient array. When that time comes, we will be able to control the archangel."

"Everyone vote whether or not to summon the archangel."

The nine mage trainers knew that things could not be delayed. The nine of them controlled everything, and the core of the city was theirs. The Elemental Hand divided to take charge of different mages. During battle, there was no way for the people below them to form an effective cooperation.

The power structure did not necessarily have any significant problems. It was just that Alchemy City had never thought that there would be people who would directly engage in battle with them in the inner part of the city.

Alchemy City only had this one weakness, and it had been grasped by Inbosa. As a result, Saleen's Floating City aggressively sent in about 200,000 Bug Angel Warriors, and from the pier there were about 20,000 Iron Blood warriors. This immediately caused Alchemy City's defenses to fall apart as if they had been captured.

If the city had been attacked from the outside, the current scenario would not have happened.

Alchemy City's mages felt that doomsday had arrived. The only glow in the sky was the radiance of magic from Floating City. At the fringes of the city, there were actually mages who began escaping.

At the city centre, the Elemental hand's nine grand mages communicated with one another using magic arrays. Each of them wrote down their decision on the magic array.

Five people agreed to summon the metal archangel, the other four people objected.

"Since this is the case, let's take action!" the mage trainer who had suggested summoning the metal archangel said.

"Alright…" One of the mage trainers who had objected to summoning the archangel sighed. The crisis of Alchemy City had suddenly blown up, causing a few people to be caught off guard. The magic amplifier also had to encounter an issue. Restoring it was simple and could be completed if a few of them took action. Perhaps it would not even take an hour.

However, the summoning magic array could not be stopped. Even if they stopped, the summoning array would not stop. If there was no one to control it, the summoning array would consume the prepared magic nuclei completely before stopping.

They were afraid of enemies attacking, the nine grand elders would have no excess energy to respond. Now it was fine, but it had tied their hands. Because if no one kept watch over it while the magic array kept running, what it would summon might not be a metal angel but something else from the divine kingdom that was even more terrifying.

Creatures summoned from the divine kingdom could not be sent back. The metal angels could be controlled, but many creatures of the god race could not be. Even if the enemies did not attack, Alchemy City would still be done for.

Since they had made their decision, the nine grand mage trainers began to modify their summoning mantra, manipulating the puppets to replenish the magic array on the ground with even higher level magic nuclei.

There were level 10 and level 11 metal angels, but an archangel would definitely be level 13. The metal archangel had some special traits. Even if it had been summoned to the Myers Continent, its capabilities would not be reduced much. It would still be able to be level 13. Furthermore, it would possess all the skills of level 13.

The Elemental Hand's mages did not hope for the archangel to completely kill off their enemies. Rather, after they finished summoning the archangel, the magic array would more or less stop running, and the nine people would not need to keep watch. They could mobilize the forces they held to fight with the enemy.

Golden liquid surged from the magic array. A huge hexagram had formed in the center with elemental vibrations had already reached a level that would soon become uncontrollable. The nine mage trainers carefully maintained the magic array. They had only tried to summon a level 13 creature once before.

A pure white hand stretched out of the hexagram, stabilizing the elements around the array. Immediately, a pure white arm followed it. A female angel climbed out from the magic array.

Angels were all androgynous. Male and female typically meant they had certain special properties.

"I have been summoned?" The female angel stood resolutely and looked about, not at all bothered about her naked body. Angels were a god's weapon. A weapon did not care about whether or not they were revealed to others.
