The level 11 Vermillion Knight lost the will to resist when Jason shouted. Its limbs were all on the ground, and its head hung low before Jason, allowing the mage to seal it.

Saleen was unable to fathom how his teacher managed to subjugate an elemental creature one whole level higher than him. Saleen's Thundering Sound was even greater, but it only managed to half the enemy's movement. If the enemy's level was higher than his, the skill would only be able to slow the enemy down.

However, one shout from Jason and the Vermillion Knight submitted.

But it was not the time for studying such problems. Saleen shared senses with Nailisi and she borrowed Saleen's mental powers to quickly put her collection of purgatories away. Saleen took out the Magical Element Tower and allowed Nailisi to go rest within.

"Teacher, what should we do next?" Saleen had no idea if he should fight the fire type element spirit.

Jason answered, "hold on for a bit. Let me subjugate the elemental creature completely before we move on."

There were still about 1000 elemental creatures outside when Saleen and Jason moved inside the tower, letting the creatures attack all they liked. They could not do anything about the Magical Element Tower's defense.

Jason created a contract sealing book and threw the level 11 Vermillion Knight into it, before beginning to read the elemental creature's memories.

Half an hour later, Jason said Saleen, "the fire type element spirit is a level 13 creature with a soul. Tough opponent. When will Nailisi be ready?"

"She needs another four hours."

"When she is done recuperating, we'll go get the fire type element spirit."

"Is that possible?" Saleen recalled how the Sreeger Island mages had used magic arrays left behind by their predecessors, and had only been able to subjugate a fire type element spirit when it was at its weakest.

The fire type element spirit they were about to deal with had underlings. That meant that it was intelligent and even tougher to deal with.

For example, the Vermillion Knights. It was far more difficult to subjugate Flare, who was level ten, than killing any of the level 11 Vermillion Knights. Flare had a soul and was capable of self-evolution. It was capable of many methods of combat, unlike the level 11 Vermillion Knights who relied solely on their superior power.

When they were up against something like the Thunder Dragon Blaster, they were easy targets.

"Saleen, an enemy's strength lies with the question whether the enemy's mindset matches its level. This fire type element spirit is a coward, but very unruly and arrogant."

Saleen knew what his teacher meant. A weak-willed person threw their weight around, but when they came across some enemy more powerful than they were, or just an enemy they perceived to be stronger, they would chose to run.

Such an enemy had too many weaknesses and that meant that there were a myriad of ways to deal with them.

His teacher had apparently managed to find some ways to exploit the fire type element spirit's weaknesses from the Vermillion Knight's memories.

Saleen faced a level 13 creature once—the divine baby.

He knew well about how terrifying level 13 creatures could be. They were no longer resistible with skills and techniques. It required an immense amount of power, strong equipment, and ample luck to emerge victorious against them.

The most important factor was luck.

His teacher's magic amplifier was nowhere near completion and his Lightning Territory was not even constructed. It was risky to capture the fire type element spirit. However, Jason's methods of training had no room for fear.

Jason probably wanted to use the fire type element spirit to complete his advancement.

"Saleen, get ready and have the 3600 demonic spirits prepped for battle." Jason gave his instructions and ordered the water puppet to get the magic tower up, heading towards the volcano that the fire type element spirit lived in.

It did not count as flying, as they were underwater. The Magical Element Tower was not actually swimming, either. The magic patterns on the outside the tower were beyond repair.

They were simply moving at speeds below 100 miles per hour in the water, approaching their target slowly. The elemental creatures outside the tower continued to chase it and attacked futilely.

Jason smiled and turned to Saleen, seeing the younger mage still looked worried. "The fire type element spirit is easier to deal with than a light type element spirit. Just throw the net out and half of the fire type element spirit's power will be restricted."

"I'm afraid that I can't get it trapped." Saleen remained worried.

"We'll just run if that happens. Your Magical Element Tower is different from what it used to be. Even in such an environment, you can still teleport outside the Imperial City of the Abyss."

Nailisi had recovered while the pair talked. She came to Saleen's side and returned the net to him.

Jason said, "there is no need for all that trouble, Saleen. When we get there, I'll take control of the tower, and you'll see how I capture the fire type element spirit!"

Saleen listened. The tower took one whole day to reach the side of the lake.

There was no lake water there as the entire city was already submerged underwater. The terrain looked more like a volcano standing in the middle of a basin. It was created entirely by humans. Saleen looked at the peculiar terrain in awe.

The volcano was covered in magic patterns, and when there had actually been a lake, it was probably one gigantic trap. It was near impossible to get anywhere near the volcano then. Furthermore, the Imperial City of the Abyss outlawed flight. Anyone who dared to fly would be dealt with harshly.

That was no longer the case. The magic tower stuck close to the ocean floor, and it would definitely not trigger any attacks from the broken magic arrays. Even if there were any attacks, the only things to suffer any damage were the last of the magic patterns outside the magic tower.

None of the attacks would be able to harm level 18 elementite, unless a powerful mage controlled the offensive magic arrays and magical buildings.

Jason took control of the tower and flew over the chasm that had been a lake, going straight for the peak of the volcano. The volcano was only several miles in radius. Jason had already brought the tower into the mouth of the volcano before Saleen was able to get ready.

The tower dropped down into the mouth of the volcano altogether. While the volcano was dormant, it had been artificially created by ancient humans. There were huge amounts of fire element crystals left behind in the mouth.

Crystal mine veins were preciously few on the Myers Mainland. However, the ancient humans had gone into every single vein. Getting some of the crystals and putting them at the mouth of the volcano to nurture a fire type element spirit was easy.

The Magical Element Tower dropped into the fiery hole. The exterior of the volcano was etched with water element magic patterns while the internal were all fire. The two types of magic patterns resonated with each other. If the lake was there, it would have been turned into a world resembling Jason's territory.

Might amplified considerably with both water and fire working in synch.

The magic arrays had all been dismantled by the fire type element spirit. It feared the possibility of tricks laid by ancient humans. Only the magic patterns were left behind and rendered under its control, casting the fire elemental attacks it was most familiar with.

When the tower dropped, the fire type element spirit had just finished shrugging off the nightmare's nightmarish illusions. It was still shuddering from the experience.

It hesitated when it saw the magic tower appear and did not attack. It would simply seal off the mouth of the volcano otherwise.

When the magic tower stuffed the mouth of the volcano, the fire type element spirit was coincidentally stuck underneath. While there were pathways underneath the volcano, but the mouth of the volcano was where it lived. With its turf being invaded, the fire type element spirit attacked its enemy instinctively.

Furthermore, everything it owned was kept there. All the treasures, equipment, and energy that it had the elemental creatures gather from the city were kept in the mouth of the volcano.

The Magical Element Tower rumbled and stuck more than two miles deep into the volcano, blocking the eruption pathway of the volcano.

The fire type element spirit brandished its weapon and intended to destroy the huge construct. Its black whip whipped away at the bottom of the tower, but it was only able to throw sparks of black fire.

The Magical Element Tower was completely unscathed. The fire type element spirit summoned the fiery chariot from within the tight spaces underneath, as well as the six flaming giant dragons. It charged upwards, intending to find out what kind of a thing the tower was.

It did not expect the flying monster to be a magic tower. The six dragons charged into the first floor of the tower, totally cut off from the chariot. Jason's control was near perfect. The six dragons were trapped in the first floor of the tower, barging left, right and center.

However, there was no way they could damage the elementite around them, regardless of how powerful they were.

The fire type element spirit was dejected after losing the six dragons. It was able to feel that the dragons were still alive but trapped.

It bent over and took a deep breath, sucking in fire element. Some fire element crystals around it disappeared, stored within its body, which expanded several times. It punched at the bottom of the Magical Element Tower.

"Foolish indeed." Jason watched the fire type element spirit and found it to be incredibly stupid. It learned nothing from the loss of its six dragons.

The tower dropped suddenly and the fire type element spirit charged inside the tower. It entered the tower's second floor. Saleen grew envious of Jason's ability to manipulate the space of the equipment.

The tower belonged to Saleen, but his ability to control it paled in comparison to Jason, who just used the tower at the moment.

Jason activated the magic array's self destruct device as soon as the fire type element spirit went inside the tower's second floor. The teleportation magic patterns of the two bottommost floors disappeared.

The tower was crafted with Jason's help. Saleen never understood why such designs were incorporated, but he now knew. If the fire type element spirit intended to escape, it could barge its way through the teleportation portals.

Its level was far above Saleen's and Jason's. Conventional methods would be useless to trap it.

However, with the teleportation magic patterns and teleportation portals of the tower destroyed, the fire type element spirit had no choice but to go up.

Jason had already laid the net out at the third floor, waiting for the fire type element spirit to barge in.

Saleen was dumbfounded. "Teacher, isn't this all too easy?"

"Hardly," Jason answered Saleen seriously. "Would anyone else be able to possess a tower made from level 18 elementite? The tower even flies and you have a net on par with godly items. If any of the three items was missing, things wouldn't have gone like this. In the entire Myers Mainland, there are fewer than 10 mages who are as rich as you are."
