Back For My Daughter

At the entrance of the bathroom, Ye Qian was standing at the corner of the female restroom while still holding Little Qiqi in his arms.

Ye Qian glanced at Little Qiqi and furrowed his brows.

He was not much attentive to the girls as he carried them, as he was worried about Little Jia, but after everything was fine now, so as he glanced at Little Qiqi who had her eyes red and seemed like she had just cried a lot.

"Huh, What happened for my Little Butterfly to cry?"

Ye Qian asked as he rubbed her cheeks with his other hand.

"Papa, Qiqi felt sad that the uncles and aunties were saying bad things about Papa, even after Papa was doing this for the good of Big Sister Jia."

Little Qiqi glanced around to the various people who were curing and calling names to Ye Qian just a while ago.

The ladies had their heads down, they didn't know what to say in the argument, what the little girl said was true, they didn't even try to know the reason for Ye Qian to dash to the woman's restroom, but directly yelled at him.

The ladies were embarrassed, but some of them came near Ye Qian and patted Little Qiqi's head.

"We are extremely sorry for calling your dad, without knowing the reason behind that."

"Sniff...Hmm."

Little Qiqi sniffed a bit and rubbed the tears off her eyes with her tiny hands and nodded at that lady.

The lady was shocked to see how sensible Little Qiqi was and turned to Ye Qian with an apologizing look.

"But Big Sister, Papa won't do anything wrong, ever, and Qiqi knows that. Right, Papa?"

Ye Qian nodded and patted Little Qiqi.

"Qiqi, Papa doesn't blame them because Papa only knows that Papa must take care of you two, even if the world thinks that your Papa did wrong, because Papa knows, what I did is for my little girls."

Ye Qian said while he pinched her nose and tickled her a little.

"Hehe, Papa, stop, Qiqi will not be able to hold the food in the stomach. Hehe."

Once Little Qiqi was to her normal happy and cheering mood Ye Qian stopped tickling her and turned to the ladies and nodded.

The ladies smiled seeing that Little Qiqi was smiling but they still felt a little embarrassed, about what Little Qiqi said to them.

Henceforth, they would never say anyone bad without knowing the reason behind the behaviour of that person.

In the meantime, Yuan Meng and Ning Wei and the woman also walked out of the other restroom.

They were flabbergasted to see Ye Qian standing near the female restroom.

Yuan Meng quickly glanced around and noticed that only Little Qiqi was with him.

'Jia must have wanted to go!'

Yuan Meng nodded and walked to him.

"Huh, what is Ye Qian doing here?"

Ning Wei muttered as she came soon after Yuan Meng with the woman.

Without thinking, Ning Wei also followed behind Yuan Meng.

The woman also saw Ye Qian standing near the female restroom and raised her brows.

'What is he doing here?'

She also followed.

"Qian'er, is Jia in the restroom?"

Yuan Meng asked seeing that Ye Qian seemed a little troubled.

"Hmm."

"Right after you guys left, she wanted to go."

Ye Qian smiled and said.

"Huh"

"We asked her while leaving, then why didn't she leave with us?"

Yuan Meng tilted her head in confusion and asked.

"It's something related to her special body."

Ye Qian answered her in a calm tone as he had told her about Little Jia's conditions yesterday.

Yuan Meng glanced at the restroom door and nodded her head.

"Huh, why are you here?"

Ning Wei asked as she walked to Ye Qian.

"Umm is Jia in?"

Noticing that Little Jia was not with Ye Qian, Ning Wei understood that Ye Qian would have come here with Little Jia.

'He cares so much about her that he won't even leave her alone, even after so many people around.'

Her heart felt warm at his way of doing things and she glanced at him with starry eyes.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded till then the door of the restroom was opened and the girl walked out with Little Jia walking with her.

She walked to Ye Qian and nodded.

"Here, she is good now."

The girl smiled at Ye Qian and handed Little Jia to him.

"Thank you, Big Sister."

Little Jia thanked her as she tried to leave.

"Oh, you must not thank me, it was your father who brought you. Without considering what others might think."

The girl patted Little Jia's head and turned around and left.

"Papa, Jia is sorry, because of Jia Papa was blamed in the wrong."

Little Jia turned around to Ye Qian with her head low and apologized.

"Hey, why are you doing that, don't you know who am I...?"

"You are Papa."

"So should a girl say sorry for something like this to her Papa, huh does my Little Jia want a beating for that?"

Ye Qian patted her head and said while he narrowed his eyes and pinched her nose.

"Ahh, no Papa, Jia doesn't want a beating, I won't say sorry, again."

Little Jia almost jumped as she cried, she thought that Ye Qian must be angry at her.

Yuan Meng and Ning Wei almost burst out laughing seeing this.

Ning Wei first thought how Ye Qian could say such, then she noticed a playful smile on his lip and understood him.

Little Jia hugged him tightly and cried.

"Hmm, that's better."

Ye Qian patted her head and continued.

"Come now let's go and have some ice cream."

He turned to the three women and smiled.

Yuan Meng and Ning Wei nodded and turned to the woman.

"You should come as well."

Yuan Meng suggested.

She had been with them for an hour now and though they didn't know each other's name till now, Yuan Meng felt that she was not bad and was worth being friends with.

Besides she rarely had friends with anyone other than Ning Wei and Jiao till now after all these years, and even the friends of their college were far now so it was not likely to meet them, though they would have some reunions every now and then she didn't want to go there alone and since Ye Qian was not with her she had lost all the taste in doing things like parties and shopping.

The woman didn't know whether she should agree or not, she was happy with their accompany and liked it a lot but, she had never been with others till now.

She nodded her head with a smile and after giving it another thought.

'This might be a good idea too.'

'I can also make some friends.'

"Yes, Papa Qiqi also wants to eat ice cream, Little Ji said the ice cream in the mall is very nice and tasty and they even make it in front of you."

Little Qiqi who was sitting quietly in Ye Qian's arms all the while, exclaimed with her big wide eyes raised as she remembered.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded and they all walked to the small stall with an ice cream banner.

There were a lot of people crowded around the stall, seeing them Ye Qian was puzzled.

"What are so many people watching here, just to eat the ice cream?"

The ladies and the girls giggled hearing Ye Qian's question and Little Jia nudged him.

"Papa, nowadays the ice cream is made in front of you like that, see the man is pouring the cream and the fruit pieces, he will then smash the fruit and mix with the cream and milk"

"The table is made of metal and has something under that to cool the things quickly and as the cream and fruits get smooth and ice cream like, after some time as the man continues to scrape and do the same while spreading the mix till it is made in a spread, then the man cuts and makes it in a roll and gives it to you."

Little Jia explained as she pointed out the things to Ye Qian.

"Ohh, this is fresh and handmade then."

"Add it is healthy too."

Ye Qian scratched his chin as he thought.

'It's not much different than the way in which the person who made such deserts in the Greater Heaven, just the difference is, he used the Frigid Ice Cultivation method to cool the milk of the Heavenly Cows and Sheep with some sweet spirit fruits.'

"This is quite a nice method though."

"My little girls, how about Papa make this ice cream at home tomorrow."

Ye Qian said as a charming smile appeared on his lips.

He could make an ice cream which would have never been seen in this world with his skills and that would be like a treasure to normal people here.

Seeing him say that the girls cheered and the ladies smiled.
