Back For My Daughter

588 Taking Responsibility For The Incident

The Principal now wondered why had the council took the decision to not tell the parents about the incident.

That was because the more the school hid this incident the more parents would be irked.

Who in their right mind would try to hide something which would be known by the whole city?

No matter if the cat drank the milk while closing its eyes, the world won't think that it didn't drink the milk right.

She couldn't help but curse the Board of the school right not.

She gritted her teeth and walked out of her office.

No matter what, she now had to take care of this mess or she would be blamed no matter what.

The board would definitely use her as a scapegoat since she knew that they won't have the guts to vex the Education Department.

After all, she was responsible for all the school now, and it would be better to use her as a sacrifice than to blame the Department to save themselves or they would lose the school.

She gritted her teeth in anger and finally understood why the Board wanted to hide it from the parents.

If they were to blame that it was her decision then no one would blame them and nor would they have to be afraid of her.

After all, she was nothing but just a Principal.

__________

After reaching the entrance to the building, and hearing the commotion which was raised by all the parents, the legs of the Principal froze on spot.

She couldn't even move an inch after seeing the frustrated eyes of the parents which were definitely seeping with anger.

But then something happened which made her completely astonished.

A young man who was holding a little child in his arms walked to the entrance.

She quickly understood that his child might have been released just now.

But what happened next made her eyes almost pop out.

The little girl who hugged the young man was Ning Jia who was the main victim of the incident during lunch.

Of course, after the incident, the Principal paid more attention to the little girl and knew almost all about her.

After that, she heard the class teacher of the little girl blaming herself for what had happened.

For a moment she was shocked as to why was the class teacher blaming herself.

But after hearing the reply from the young man, she didn't know what to think.

It would not be wrong to say that she was completely stunned by this.

"Who is he do you know him?"

"No Ma'am."

"But if I heard correctly, the girl called him her PAPA."

The teacher from before said with her lips pursed.

"Didn't you just say that the girl's father had died long ago?"

"Yes, Ma'am, that's indeed noted in the folder."

The teacher said with a flustered face.

How could she know what might have happened?

'Her mother might have married this young man, how can you ask me something like this?'

After seeing that with Ye Qian's words all the parents had agreed, and the Principal sighed in relief.

She had thought that the parent of the child would make the incident very grave and try to get sympathy from other parents.

Or at least try to make some reconciles for the incident.

But none of what she had thought happened and the young man even helped her to sate the situation in such a way that she might have never thought that she might be able to.

It had to be known that since she was a Principal, even if she were to say the same things that Ye Qian had told to the parents, none of them might have believed her.

And that was what she was worried about the most.

She clearly knew that if she were to say the same that Ye Qian had then she might have in spite irked more anger in the parent's hearts.

Who would even believe her for she was on a completely different boat?

It was very less likely that even a percent of parents would believe her.

She sighed in relief and knew that this was the right time for her to take action.

She quickly walked toward Ye Qian and gave an apologizing look.

"I am sorry for all that has happened today."

"I know that as a parent you might have been really frightened about the incident."

She didn't even stop wanting to let Ye Qian say anything and continued.

"We might not be able to change what has already happened and the shadow which might have been cast in this child's heart and mind."

She sighed and gently stroked Little Jia's head and continued to Ye Qian.

"So we are going to take responsibility for the child's education."

She thought that maybe with this as a simple bargain, Ye Qian might not pinch the incident once again.

And even though she didn't have any bad intentions and sincerely thought that the little girl might have got a bad memory and they might not be able to ever remove it from her mind.

Ye Qian didn't know what to say.

At first, he was thinking about not blaming anyone, but after hearing the Principal's words, Ye Qian didn't know if he should laugh or cry.

Though the woman was sincere in her promise and he could definitely say that she might not back off with what she had said.

But she was also doing this for her own benefit.

How could he not understand the woman's simple plot?

And although it didn't harm anyone, it still made others look at her in light.

This way she wanted Ye Qian to remember that the fees of the school were not cheap and she was even willing to free Little Jia's education for all her school.

This way, she wanted to create an unbreakable image of herself in the hearts of the parents by showing that she felt bad about the incident and was even willing to take responsibility.

And even force Ye Qian to never spite anything about this incident ever again which would definitely be harmful to the school and her position.
