Back For My Daughter

Soon after Ye Qian entered the bedroom he saw Little Qiqi sleeping on the bed peacefully with her mouth open and hands and feet spread in all directions.

Though when Yuan Meng and he placed her they covered her with a blanket it was now removed, she seemed cute as she slept like this.

"Hu hu, Papa when will you come to Qiqi was I bad, so you left me and Mumma." Little Qiqi cried all of a sudden as tears came from the corner of her eyes as she mumbled in her dreams.

Ye Qian who was standing beside her while looking at her and smiling suddenly felt sad and as pain struck his chest seeing Little Qiqi crying even in her dreams.

He quickly ran to her side and placed his hand on her forehead and said while assuring her. "Don't worry Butterful Papa is right here and never abandoned you and you are the best Papa can get."

As Ye Qian finished Little Qiqi slowly opened her eyes and smiled at him and hugged his hand while taking from her head.

"Let me sit on the bed so that you can sleep properly." Ye Qian said as he sat on the bed and made little Qiqi sleep on his chest as a bear sleeps on its mother's belly.

Little Qiqi wrapped her little arms around his neck and placed her head on his chest and went back to sleep.

Ahe then again mumbled, "Now Qiqi has Papa, no one will say Qiqi was an abandoned child."

Hearing such words coming from her mouth Ye Qian felt anger burning in his heart, 'Who would have said that I abandoned her.'

'Don't let me find you or I will not kill you but you will definitely ask for me to better kill you.'

As Ye Qian thought the temperature in the room suddenly decreased and Little Qiqi began to shiver from cold.

Ye Qian quickly send some of the Spirit Energy into her to warm her up and patted her back as she slept on his chest.

A few minutes later Little Qiqi's breathing turned even indicating she had fallen asleep.

Soon Yuan Meng came into the room and was stunned to see Little Qiqi sleeping on Ye Qian they bother looked like a monkey Mother-Child duo to her.

She smiled looking at Ye Qina and nodded.

Seeing her nod Ye Qian also patted the space of the bed beside him, saying to Yuan Meng to sit by his side.

"Let me change." Yuan Meng said as she was still in her suit, she had just remover her blazer before and didn't change her clothes after coming back as she quickly went into the kitchen.

A few minutes later Yuan Meng came out of the bathroom wearing her night pyjamas which encased her body neatly, she had her hair loose, she really looked like a fairy in modern clothing.

She looked at Ye Qian and asked while making a 360-degree turn and looking at him as she smiled.

"Just as beautiful as always." Ye Qian replied as he saw her preparing herself for him.

"You always used to say that don't I look any different, now?" Yuan Meng asked as she sat beside him on the best and looked at him.

"Hmm hmm you have turned even more beautiful now that I remember properly." Ye Qian gave a proper look at her again and said while rubbing his chin.

"Oh yes, you are cuter than before as well." Ye Qian said as he pinched her cheeks and smiled.

"Hey what are you saying me cute for I am a mother." Yuan Meng said with her eyebrows high.

Though she felt sweet in her heart. 'He really didn't have any other thoughts about another woman.'

"Now tell me where were you all this time." Yuan Meng asked with a smile that looked serious as well.

It seemed like she didn't want to force Ye Qian to say everything to her.

"Well, It's like, even if I were to say you the truth, you won't believe me!" Ye Qian took her hands in his and said while using his there hand to place the twig of hair that came on Yuan Meng's lips.

Yuan Meng felt dejected after hearing his reply and smiled at his gesture.

"I will believe you even if you were to tell me you come back from the dead." Yuan Meng said as she looked into his eyes.

There was a slight panic in Ye Qian's eyes as he heard Yuan Meng say that.

Yuan Meng was quick as she could clearly see that Ye Qian's return had something to do with the things she said.

Ye Qian quickly let go of her hand and said as he brought both his hands to her face, and holding as he touched her forehead with his.

"You don't have to worry I am your Qian'er and I will say everything to you when we have adequate time and the situation is right."

Ye Qian said the sentence word by word as he looked into her eyes, saying that he was telling the truth.

"I believe you and I know you are my Qian'er, you don't need to give me some explanation for that." Yuan Meng smiled at him and closed the distance between their lips and gave him a small kiss.

"Then what are you going to say when mom and dad ask where were you all these years?" She asked Ye Qian as she separated her lips from his.

"Just say that I was selected in some military and was not allowed to have any contact with others and family to keep the things confidential."

"Alright, that's an explanation that everyone will believe in." Yuan Meng smiled as she freed her face from his hands and smiled at him.

She laid her head on the pillow and looked at the roof for a while and then asked.

"You won't leave again right."

"No, I won't. Ever." Ye Qian said as he turned to her and looked into her eyes.

It seemed like he was giving her a promise.

"I know you won't break your promise." Yuan Meng said as she brought his hand under her head like a pillow and curled it around her neck and held his fingers with hers tightly.

"I won't." Ye Qian said as he to lowered himself on the pillow and said as he neared her forehead and gave a peck on it while assuring her.

"This is what I have been dreaming for a while." Yuan Meng said as she closed her eyes and savoured the feeling of being loved and cared for again.

"Now dream of anything, I will make that happen or bring it in front of you." Ye Qian said as he caressed her hair with his hand while the other hands supported Little Qiqi who was slowly snuggling on his chest.

"I don't want anything else except for our little family to stay together."

"It will always stay together and maybe we should increase our family tree too." Ye Qian said with a naughty smile on his face.

"Hey, are you not contended with Qiqi?" Yuan Meng said as she pinched his hand but didn't throw it away.

"I can not ask for more, but what if Little Qiqi wants a small brother or sister we need to give her a sibling right." Ye Qian said with a smug and a teasing smile.

"You when Qiqi asks for a sibling we will give her one but you should give her the idea." Yuan Meng said her face completely red like a tomato. As she hid her face with a blanket.

"Hehe you went too serious I was just teasing you, you didn't have to take that to heart. Hehe, does it mean that you also want a child?"

"See you are bullying me again. I won't talk to you." Yuan Meng said as she acted like a girl in her teen who had just fallen in love. She quickly covered herself with the blanket completely.

"My Little Mengmeng don't be angry with me, who will I have, besides you." Ye Qian said as he tried to remove the blanket from her head.

"Dont say you didn't find a more beautiful woman than me all the while." Yuan Meng said while still in the blanket.

"Nope, there was never as graceful and as good as you." Ye Qian replied with honesty but it lead to some wrong assumptions.

"What?" Yuan Meng seemed to have flared due to some reason and pinched his ears saying.

"What do mean by there was not as good as me?" Yuan Meng looked like she was ready to chew Ye Qian's ears any moment now.

"Unh, I mean that many women tried to come close to me when I was away from you but I only had you and Little Qiqi in my heart." Ye Qian still was oblivious to the reason behind Yuan Meng's reaction and asked.

"What are you angry for?" with a big question mark on his face.

Yuan Meng thought 'Oh I remember, he is a big dummy in knowing women so he might not have understood anything.'

"I am sorry I lost my cool as you said women asked for you." Yuan Meng said as she brought this hand again as her pillow.

"Um it's ok, um Mengmeng is your Aunt here? I mean in that situation, women experience mood swings right?" Ye Qian said as he caressed her hair.

"Ah dummy." Yuan Meng flinched and tapped his head.

Soon after talking about the situation of the city after five years of missing Ye Qian asked everything he would need to remember.

Soon Yuan Meng fell asleep in his arms he kissed her again on the forehead and placed a blanket on her gently.

There was a bright content smile on Yuan Mengs face as she slept.

At around 6:00 the Sun was peeking in the concrete forest the humans made and was trying to show its face.

"Ahh" Yuan Meng woke up from her sleep while stretching her hands and yawning.

She looked around on the bed to see Little Qiqi sleeping soundly on the bed covered with a blanket.

She looked around but didn't find any sign of Ye Qian being around in the bedroom.

She suddenly felt overwhelmed with fear and sadness and disappointment as she couldn't find Ye Qian.

"Qian'er , uh uh, ghhghgh, sniffff, sniff." Yuan Meng started crying and soon started sniffing from her nose and called out Ye Qian's name.

"Was it all just a dream,... how could it be?"

"I don't... want to be alone.... all again."

She sought as she remembered everything that was transcribed yesterday night.

"I don't want him to.... leave me alone again, he promised me last night..... that he will stay with us."

As she thought tears started to drip from her eyes.

Soon after she cried Ye Qian's name the door was opened and she saw a familiar person opening the door of the bedroom.
