Digennaro unleashed his laser gaze, shattering the limbs of the tall, slender man in white whom Alan controlled with a giant crab claw. Swiftly, he turned to another part of the battlefield, penetrating the limbs of a short, dark man who had trapped Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins, rendering him incapable of further battle. Then, soaring into the air on the wings of a giant eagle, he dropped behind enemy lines.

David struggled to manipulate the quicksand, trying to subdue a burly man with a full, bearded face, gasping, "I can't hold on much longer!"

Alice unleashed her power, breaking his defenses. Simultaneously, Clos, brandishing his grim reaper scythe, joined Eve and others in repelling the fierce onslaught of minotaurs and horse-faced creatures, relieving the pressure on their comrades.

The battlefield was strewn with human bodies and those of the minotaurs. The end of this combat was nigh; defeating the one who called himself the 'Reaper' would mean victory.

Digennaro landed, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, and directed his laser gaze at the burly man. Beams shot straight into the 'Reaper's' chest.

David cried out, "Alice!" Heeding the call, she promptly activated her "Radiance" skill. A soft golden glow enveloped everyone present, turning the tide of the battle once more.

Elsewhere, Alan tried to connect with the man in white to no avail. He pierced him with a spear and, after the foe turned into a zombie, tried to connect again, failing again.

"..."

Frustrated, Alan pinned him with another giant crab claw, swiping aside the advancing zombies. Seizing a black one, he pierced his heart, killed him, and tried to establish the connection once he turned. Again, he failed.

"..."

Without hesitation, Alan tossed two, both now zombies, to the rear. He then directed a puppet to crash through to confront the 'Reaper.'

Hawkins and Kelli were ready. They used vines to tightly bind the 'Reaper's' limbs. Simultaneously, all the minotaurs on the battlefield fell, leaving only their king.

"Ha-ha!"

The Reaper's laughter was sinister. "Did you think it would end so easily?"  he activated  "Cycle of Rebirth."

The battlefield was shrouded in darkness, filled with haunting screams.

Everyone watched as the slain minotaurs and humans began to move again despite grievous wounds. Soon, they rose, weapons in hand or barehanded, forming an encircling wall of menace.

A chill ran down their spines. They had fought long and hard, finally cornering the Reaper, believing the final blow was at hand. But the reality was far more grim.

"Ha-ha!" The Reaper laughed maliciously. "Did you think it was over? No, this is just the beginning."

The earth around the battlefield began to shift, and the bones of minotaurs and humans long dead began to emerge. Moreover, those bodies falling down the mountainside now started their ascent to the peak.

With a deep inhale, the Grim Reaper's body vibrated, effortlessly breaking free from the bonds. Those nearby were sent staggering backward. His once pale red eyes now gleamed blood-red. The number of the dead had peaked, and his rank increased. Such was the power his domain granted him.

Crash!

Suddenly, a figure descended from the heavens, wielding a hammer shimmering with electric arcs. He toppled a reanimated horse-face creature with one stride, remarking, "Well, that did the trick." He looked up at the Grim Reaper, "I fancy that skill of yours. I want it."

All eyes turned to the newcomer, their previous expressions of despair replaced with fervent hope.

He has arrived!

The Grim Reaper chuckled, "Another lamb to the slaughter, huh? But I admire your audacity."

Ming responded courteously, gesturing with his hand, "I never was one for a fair fight."

Boom!

The Black-haired Pig Demon plummeted from above, swinging a rake and charging into the mass of undead, counting aloud, "Five eighty, five ninety..."

Raoul, mountainous in stature, stepped into the fray, his six blades spinning like a tempest around him. Limbs and fragments flew everywhere in his wake.

Frank followed closely, his wolf claws slashing through the remnants.

The fly Leech manifested in mid-air, its numerous tentacles holding a variety of monstrosities, such as the one-eyed giant, the tree zombies, the colossal mantis, stone gargoyles, and the three-headed hounds. Hovering above the zombie horde, it released its grip, letting these creatures fall and join the battle.

Ming nodded at the fly Leech, "Now that's what an aerial battleship should look like." Mike joined the fight, jesting, "Grim Reaper, I saved a bite for you. Don't waste it."

The Red Horse Rider glanced at Enyo, "Not even leaving a bit of the spotlight for me, huh?"

Enyo smirked in response.

Ming lifted his hammer, activating his lightning speed. In a blink, he stood before the Grim Reaper, releasing the bewitching figure, Euryale.

"Do you find me beautiful?"

"Indeed."

"Boss, it's handled."

"Good."

Ming directed Euryale to fight on one side while he lifted his hammer, invoking the power of thunder and lightning.

Boom!!

Suddenly, the battlefield, already shrouded in darkness, became engulfed in thick clouds, echoing with rolling thunder. Lightning bolts pierced the clouds, all converging into the hammer.

Centered around Ming, lightning danced, and electric forks scattered everywhere. His aura, radiating a brilliant purple-blue, gradually turned white-hot. The immobilized Grim Reaper, witnessing the luminous man before him, felt a chill running down his spine. He had a foreboding that this might be his end.

"Brace yourself!"

Ming leaped, smashing his hammer from above! It struck the Grim Reaper's head directly. The accumulated electricity is released instantly, spewing enormous energy in all directions. The once towering Grim Reaper was hammered waist-deep into the ground.

Ming swung his hammer and struck again!

Bang! Boom! The earth engulfed the Grim Reaper up to his chest.

Swing!

Smash!

Boom!

Breakthrough!

Ming beckoned, and Raoul and Frank rushed over, pulling the Grim Reaper out of the ground. Dazed and disoriented, he was lifted into the air and carried towards a tent.

"Bro~"

Digennaro ran into Ming's embrace with a smile, "I missed you so much~"

A little bear that emerged from one side scooped them up, licking their faces enthusiastically.

"~~"

Ming wiped off the saliva, "Hold on, I need to deal with that guy first."

Digennaro replied, "Alright, let's do it together~"

Moments later, Digennaro crouched outside the tent, exchanging glances with three frogs and a bear. After all, she hadn't expected the scene inside the tent to be so 'sensual.' As a child, she wouldn't have come if she had known it would be like this. Subsequently, she picked up the three frogs, sat on the upright-walking bear's shoulder, and left, aiming to find the pig demon for some fun.

Inside the tent.

[Your Da Vinci looked at you, wanting to convey that this 'Grim Reaper' was definitely the last one for today. It wouldn't go for a third one; feeling somewhat tired already~]

[Your Da Vinci glanced at Frank, noticing he was still full of energy~]
