Senda nodded.

“I know, but we’re having issues with our research. So, we want to delay your progress as well.”

Lin Nan pursed his lips and said in a low voice, “I haven’t seen you for a few years and you’ve sunk this low.”

“It’s no big deal. You have your ideas and we have ours. It seems like your experiment isn’t going too well. Why don’t you join me? You’ll be able to live a comfortable life.”

Senda smiled.

However, his expression suddenly changed. He tightened his grip on Li Ran’s neck and looked at Lin Nan.

“You have a special ability as well, don’t you? Tsk, you’re really a liar.”

Lin Nan stopped in his tracks.

Victory seemed to be in Senda’s grasp. He signaled Lin Nan to get the experimental rug.

“Hurry up. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee the safety of your wife. It’ll be too late to regret then,” urged Senda. He did not have much time to waste.

Lin Nan glanced at Yang Shao and approached him. He broke the handcuffs that were restraining Yang Shao with his bare hands. Then, he handed the drug to him and said, “Go and give this to him.”

Although Lin Nan spoke in a calm tone, he emitted a huge oppressive force.

Yang Shao obliged. He took the drug and walked towards Senda.
