Apocalypse Cheater
123 Trial of Transcendence Part 2
[: Your Fight Begins Now :]
With those words, the battle was ignited, and I found myself staring down two colossal miniature suns, their fiery radiance threatening to engulf me.
They hung perilously close, just inches from my eyes, their scorching brilliance would have left my body burnt.
Drawing upon the very essence of Absolute Zero, I channelled its frigid power into my scythe.
In a swift and precise motion, I swung the weapon, slashing through the two miniature suns gracefully.
In an instant, they disintegrated, their fiery radiance snuffed out as if they had never existed.
As my eyes locked onto the towering figure, it stood high above the ground, its palms radiating with gathering energy.
Suddenly, it unleashed a barrage of fiery torrents towards me.
With nimble reflexes, I managed to evade each scorching blast, but the ground beneath us was laid to waste, leaving a vast sea of flames in its wake.
Drawing upon the power of absolute zero, I channelled it through my hands, swiftly extinguishing the fiery sea beneath me.
Then, I conjured a multitude of ice spears aimed directly at the imposing figure.
To my surprise, it effortlessly dispelled my icy assault with a mere thought.
Nevertheless, with the speed of light, I reappeared right behind his back, attempting to strike the being from behind.
However, it countered by emitting an intense wave of searing heat, forcing me to retreat.
As I had retreated, I found myself bombarded with dozens of miniature suns, even then, I summoned forth a swirling vortex of frigid winds, encasing myself in a cocoon of ice and mist.
The infernal suns clashed against my crystalline shield, and it was catastrophic as each clash was like an exploding star.
It took a while for the clash to end and seizing the opportunity, I unleashed a barrage of ice shards, each gleaming like a frozen star.
They arced toward the being with precision and force, threatening to pierce its fiery defences.
Yet, it responded with an even greater display of power, sending forth waves of searing heat that melted the ice projectiles before they could strike their mark.
The being then conjured a formidable weapon—a lengthy spear manifested from a searing red inferno.
With a terrifying intensity, it surged forward, aiming to impale me through the chest.
However, I had no intention of letting that fiery spear find its mark so easily.
In the blink of an eye, the being hurtled toward me, its intent clear.
In response, I used the Absolute Zero to summon forth a colossal meteor of ice.
It hung ominously above, its sheer mass promising an imminent cataclysm.
The being locked its gaze upon the approaching icy threat.
In that instant, the being hurled its blazing spear toward the descending ice meteor.
*Boom*
The collision was nothing short of apocalyptic.
A deafening explosion ripped through the battleground, a cataclysmic clash of elemental forces that sent a shockwave rippling across the Colosseum.
Shards of ice rain upon the both of us.
Amidst the distraction, I seized the fleeting opportunity, harnessing the speed of light itself to reappear before the being.
My scythe was ready to strike directly on its head.
However, the being was no ordinary foe.
It managed to evade my deadly assault, slipping aside with an almost supernatural grace.
Gathering flames within its outstretched hand, it unleashed a searing punch that landed with devastating force against my abdomen.
[: -40 Million HP :]
That hurts.
The pain was excruciating, and my health plummeted rapidly.
But I didn't allow that to stop my tracks.
At such close quarters, our battle intensified into a mesmerizing exchange of blows.
My hands exuded an icy chill, while its palms burned with fiery intensity.
In that fiery clash of elements, we became embodiments of opposing forces, locked in a battle for a victory yet to be decided.
With each impact of our fists, shockwaves reverberated through the air, creating a dazzling spectacle of elemental conflict.
The very ground trembled beneath us in response to the immense forces at play.
Neither of us yielded and with every strike, our opposing energies cancelled each other out in a mesmerizing display.
At that moment, we were beings locked in an age-old battle between fire and ice.
In the heat of our close combat, I seized a pivotal moment to wield the Ruler's Authority.
I manipulated the scythe with an invincible force.
With a swift motion, I sent the gleaming blade slashing toward the being's form.
It reacted with lightning reflexes, evading the scythe's deadly arc.
However, the strike was never meant to land; it was a diversionary tactic.
Exploiting the distraction created by the scythe's menacing trajectory, I surged toward the being without any hesitation.
In a breathtaking display of light speed, I closed the distance between us without wasting any more time, and with an iron grip, I clutched its enigmatic head.
We were levitating in the air, and I wasted no time.
With a powerful and swift motion, I drove the being's head forcefully into the ground below, leaving a deep dent in the unforgiving surface.
But I wasn't finished.
Drawing upon the elemental energies of both Lightning and Light, I summoned an unprecedented force within my grasping hand.
A luminous aura enveloped my clenched fist as I poured every ounce of my gathered power into the being's head.
The energy surged forth, an explosive burst of radiant force that coursed through the being's form.
*Boom*
An explosive force erupted within the head of the transcendent being, unleashing unimaginable devastation.
But even as the ground quaked beneath us and the being staggered, it became evident that my initial assault had not been enough to secure victory.
Unyielding and driven by an unrelenting stubbornness to triumph, I summoned an even greater force, perhaps several magnitudes more potent than the previous eruption.
And I continued to release it within the being's head without relenting.
Explosion after explosion, the sheer magnitude of the unleashed energy felt akin to the cataclysmic detonation of a star.
In the midst of this relentless assault, I was so singularly focused on defeating the being that I failed to notice the subtle notification that appeared before me.
[: You have defeated a Transcendent Being. Do you wish to continue? :]
So...it's finally over huh.
I finally released my grasp on the being's head, and at that moment, the relentless explosions ceased.
The air was thick with the lingering energy of devastation and I stepped back.
But as I surveyed the scene, a peculiar realization slowly dawned upon me.
It was then that I understood that its head was missing.
In the midst of the relentless bombardment of explosive energy, I was so consumed to defeat the being that I hadn't noticed the disintegration of its form.
It was as though the sheer intensity of my assault had shattered it into oblivion, leaving behind nothing but a headless entity.
[: Daniel POV :]
[: Congratulations, you have won against the 6th stage, do you wish to continue? :]
[: Congratulations, you have won against the 7th stage, do you wish to continue? :]
[: Congratulations, you have won against the 8th stage, do you wish to continue? :]
[: Congratulations, you have won against the 9th stage, do you wish to continue? :]
The notifications flashed before me, marking an achievement that I had never been able to achieve.
I couldn't help but reflect on the past and to this very moment.
The 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Stages had tested my limits, pushing me to the very brink of defeat.
Each victory had been secured by a mere sliver, a thread-thin margin of success, and I had utilized every resource and tactic at my disposal to emerge victorious.
It was tough, but it's something that I had decided to do if I wanted to change the future.
[: You have entered the 10th Stage and you will be fighting against a Transcendence Being :]
Now, the notification unveiled the challenge that awaited in the 10th Stage.
Finally...the last stage and the stage that no one had ever won against before.
This would be a battle like no other and my victory against it would be a question.
With a deep breath and a heart filled with resolve, I accepted the challenge, ready to face whatever formidable foe awaited me in this ultimate stage.
In due course, I found myself teleported to the Colosseum, where I stood face-to-face with a formidable foe.
Its aura was so intense that even in its mere presence, I harboured doubts about my chances of victory.
What a powerful beast.
Nonetheless, I wasn't going to let it unsettle me.
It's no wonder why no one could surpass this stage.
Right before me stood the Transcendent Being, adorned in golden armour that exuded an aura of justice.
I could sense that this being was dozens, if not hundreds, of times more powerful than the one I faced in the 9th stage.
Well, it seems there's no need to hold everything back.
Facing this being, it'd be better if I used everything that I had.
At this point, I employed every skill and treasure at my disposal.
Eventually, I summoned forth the formidable power of the Lion King, a power that I had to use in the 8th Stage.
As I invoked its might, a breathtaking transformation rippled through the very fabric of my armour.
It began with a radiant shimmer as if the sun itself had descended upon me.
The previously dark and foreboding armor I wore suddenly radiated a brilliant orange hue, reminiscent of a blazing inferno.
The ambient light danced upon its surface, casting flickering shadows that resembled the fierce roar of a lion.
And then, the fusion began.
The Lion King's armour merged seamlessly with my own, creating a masterpiece of both Darkness and Orange.
Upon my back, a regal emblem took form, that of a resplendent lion's visage.
Even the very scythe I held underwent a striking transformation.
It now bore the mark of this fusion, a weapon that was as much a manifestation of darkness as it was an embodiment of blazing orange energy.
In the very next heartbeat, I summoned forth the awakening of Lightning and Light, invoking their names with a resounding call.
Delzion, the Wrath of Lightning
Livion, the Light of Hope
Instantaneously, a breathtaking transformation unfolded within my being.
Arcane energies of lightning and radiant light converged upon my armour, enveloping it in a dazzling display of elemental power.
Thunderous bolts of lightning danced and crackled around me, while a gentle, illuminating glow of hope radiated from every seam.
In this moment of fusion, the power of both Lightning and Light seamlessly integrated with my armour, augmenting it with a newfound and devastating potency.
The once dark and foreboding armour now blazed with an electrifying brilliance, a harmonious marriage of destructive force and luminous light.
In the next critical moment, I called upon a skill that held the power of fate itself - the Tattoo of Karma.
From the very centre of my palms, strange and intricate markings unfurled, spreading with an otherworldly grace across my entire body.
They snaked their way like arcane rivers, intertwining with the existing mark of the lion on my chest, creating an amalgamation that was nothing short of formidable.
The black ink of the tattoo melded seamlessly with the lion's visage, enhancing its majestic presence and infusing it with an aura of profound power.
Not only did my overall stats experience a dramatic surge, but I also gained a set of skills that would undoubtedly prove advantageous in the impending battle.
The next phase of my strategy drew upon a newfound power granted by my recent class, the Irregular.
And I unleashed the transformation known as the Fragments of Thorns.
As I invoked this enigmatic ability, a remarkable metamorphosis took hold.
From my forehead, a pair of striking horns sprouted, one a vivid shade of red, and the other a deep, resonant blue.
They curved with an elegant and fearsome grace, symbolizing the duality of my newfound strength.
Behind my form, two prisms of radiant red and radiant blue manifested, hovering like guardian sentinels.
They trailed closely behind me, shimmering with an ethereal light, mirroring my every movement with an uncanny precision.
With the Holy Relic and the Ancient Weapon in my possession, I wasted no further time in invoking their formidable power.
The results were nothing short of overwhelming.
First, I activated the Holy Relic, and the impact was nothing short of astonishing.
The Flower of Eve bestowed upon me a staggering boost, multiplying my stats and skills a thousandfold.
Unlike conventional skills, the Holy Relic knew no limitations, and its influence extended even to entities beyond the realm of Transcendent Beings.
Simultaneously, I unleashed the power of the Ancient Weapon, and its effects were equally profound.
It enshrouded my armour with a radiant blessing, a divine augmentation that elevated all my abilities and ranks by a significant margin.
In an instant, I ascended to the level of a false Transcendent, a realm of power that few could fathom.
What set the Ancient Weapon apart was its lack of restrictions, both in terms of duration and targets.
It was a truly terrifying force, one that could reshape the course of any battle it graced.
Now, armed with the combined might of the Holy Relic and the Ancient Weapon, I stood as an indomitable force, ready to confront the Transcendent Being with power that transcended the ordinary boundaries of strength and ability.
