1574 You're Mistaking Me For Someone Else

The top experts all exchanged glances before stepping inside one after the other. They knew a few people would only come out after they enter, and those people wouldn't miss such an opportunity, so they must definitely come, but not with them standing guard.

The people they were referring to were the top experts in the Half-God Plane among the Necromancers. There are few Half-Gods, so whichever one turns their backs on humanity can be easily fished out, unlike those Sovereigns and those of weaker cultivation stages.

And as expected, a few minutes after the group entered, six people appeared outside the portal.

"Why don't we use this opportunity to take over the Continent?" One of them asked with a sly grin.

"What's the point of having it when a God could be produced? If any of them becomes a God, we're finished. Yes, God Plane Elementalists rarely involve themselves with things involving us, but it doesn't mean that they can't do a thing or two to us. All they need is an instant and we're dead." Another one of the Necromancers spoke up.

"I know, I just wanted to see what thoughts you had about this opportunity."

"We still have the chance to become Gods, and once we achieve that, we don't need to fear either the Gnomes or other humans."

"They are forgetting the reason we are doing this in the first place was to produce a God who can stop this stupid invasion."

"It doesn't matter what they think, when we become Gods, they will have no other choice than to see reason with us."

"Forget about all this, let's head inside and fight for this opportunity too."

The moment the six passed through the portal, it disappeared like it was never even there.

….

Inside the God's tomb.

When Grey appeared inside, he couldn't help but look around, dazed. He was trying to wrap his head around how his father was able to accomplish something like this. This was a separate world, like those secret realms, and it is said that God Plane Elementalists are capable of achieving such a feat, but it was practically impossible for those below that stage, unless there were secrets hidden from those who aren't strong enough.

Grey brought out his tracking device and headed straight for his friends. He told them to stay put once they entered so that he would find them quickly, and he knew they would do as he told them.

On the way, he found three Necromancers, all in the Early stages of the Sovereign Plane. He didn't let them go, killing them immediately. With the benefit of being undetected, even the one who was in the Third stage wasn't able to fight with him. He first dealt a deadly blow, before cutting off the Necromancer's connection to his puppet when he brought it out. All battles didn't last up to a minute combined. He had killed three Sovereigns just thanks to them not being aware of his presence.

Grey could be said to be a perfect assassin due to the abilities he possesses. His versatility with all elements meant that even if the first strike didn't kill his opponent, he could still fight with them for a few more minutes or so. Against Necromancers, he was particularly more effective since once they survive the first attack, their first thought would be to bring out their puppets since they don't know who they're battling.

Alice was the closest to Grey, he saw a few people from different Factions and Families, even a few from his mother's Family who he also avoided.

Grey passed through all the woods before arriving at an empty field, he couldn't see the end of the field.

"How did your father pull this off?" Alice was just as amazed as Grey was.

"He did it with some people, but I still don't understand how they were able to do something like this." Grey indicated that his father wasn't the only one to create this place, and he also showed her he was clueless about how this place was formed.

One of their friends was around this field, but they could sense the presence of people around, they could also sense that a battle was happening ahead of them.

They rushed through the field and soon found the place where the battle was taking place.

Reynolds could be seen, like a soldier, covered in armor as he battled with two people, both were in the Second stage of the Sovereign Plane.

"Why don't you make this a fair fight?"

Grey and Alice appeared after this statement as he attacked one of them while Alice joined Reynolds with attacking the other person.

"What happened bud?" Grey asked after forcing the person he attacked back.

Reynolds, with the help of Alice was able to easily force the person fighting with him back, "They attacked me, unprovoked."

"Why did you attack him?" Grey's eyes were cold, when he saw them from afar, he could sense killing intent coming from them, so he knew they intended to kill Reynolds, and if they hadn't come, Reynolds would've been able to escape, but he would've been injured as well.

"You know fully well why we attacked him." One of the duo said, they were both ladies.

Grey's expression showed how dumb he felt the question was, "Would I be asking you if I knew?"

"That's left for you to figure out, just know that whenever we catch either you or your friends alone, we'll kill you." The other lady said and turned to leave.

Grey laughed when he saw this, before asking a question, "Haha, I think you're mistaking me for someone else. If my guess is right, you attacked him because he's my friend, correct?"

"And so?"

"You see, that's why I'm saying you must be mistaking me for someone else." Grey's playful demeanor disappeared in an instant and unbridled killing intent surged out, "Cause if you did your research properly, you'd know I'll kill you."
