1546 New Stars Shine Brighter

"Haha."

Reynolds laughed as he slowly floated to the ground. His breakthrough wasn't as eye-catching as Klaus' breakthrough, nor was it near the level of Grey's breakthrough, but it was unique in its own way. With the lightning armor on his body, he looked like a lightning God which was something that if seen by others, they would be left awestruck.

Unlike Klaus, Reynolds didn't really care if others saw his amazing breakthrough or not. All that mattered to him was that he had gotten to the Sovereign Plane. This was something he needed.

They have to sneak into the Gnome world, and without all four friends getting to the Sovereign Plane, they can't carry out the mission. The more time they waste, the quicker the Gnomes would try to invade their world. From a few things he has heard over the past months, he knew the activity of Necromancers increased lately. The only reason he could think of was the Gnomes preparing to enter the human world.

Necromancers were the puppets of the Gnomes in the human world. Everything they did was to find favor in the eyes of the Gnomes, so they would naturally look for ways to please the Gnomes, even if it meant granting them access into the human world.

'I should contact those two, I wonder what they've been up to.'

Reynolds brought out the communication device and tried to reach out to Klaus and Grey.

Over the years, they've cut down their communications to only when they need to see. They were all busy with their cultivation and other missions, so it's difficult for them to have long conversations now.

To his shock, Klaus and Grey were together. And they were in the Southern Continent.

He didn't ask any questions as he raced there.

Reynolds just entered the Sovereign Plane, yet he didn't try to consolidate his realm. His lightning armor appeared on his body, and with the speed of light, he shot through the sky, heading for the nearest teleportation array.

Although he's very fast now, he can't appear anywhere he wanted to instantly. Even Grey would find it difficult to do, even with his space element. For now, Grey could travel hundreds kilometers with a single teleportation, but the Aurora Continent was too large. The smallest regions were tens of thousands of kilometers at the very least. There's no way anyone in the Sovereign Plane could achieve that. Of course, someone on the level of Grey's father might be able to achieve this.

Reynolds flew past a City that had Peak Venerables, and before they could even catch a glimpse of him, he was a few kilometers away. He was moving almost fifty kilometers per second. Before anyone with a lower cultivation stage could even sense his presence, he's already long gone.

Even First stage Sovereigns are not this fast.

The Venerables in the City all came to the sky, but the presence they sensed was disappearing into the horizon, they didn't even get the chance to fully sense the person.

An old man looked in the direction Reynolds' aura disappeared, "A Sovereign."

"That must be a top expert." Another old man shook his head.

"I sensed someone breaking through a few minutes ago. Could this be the person?" A middle-aged man looked in Reynolds' direction.

"I don't think so." The first old man commented, "A newly advanced Sovereign shouldn't be that fast."

"What's the point of speaking about Sovereigns? Let's all head back to our training, maybe we still have a shot at the Sovereign Plane."

"Haha, of course. We still have a long time to go, we're definitely going to be able to achieve this."

The Venerables all discussed the Sovereign Plane and all went back to their cultivation. These were all people over a hundred years old, some of them are even a few hundred years old, but they've been stuck at the Peak of the Venerable Plane.

….

The City Reynolds found had a First stage Sovereign overseeing it.

When the Sovereign sensed Reynolds' fast approaching aura, he knotted his brows and came out, hoping to block Reynolds midway.

Reynolds halted when he saw the man. He bowed slightly.

The man returned the greeting. He might be older, but Reynolds was on the same stage as himself. He could even sense pressure from Reynolds which meant that he was stronger. In the world of Elementalists, age didn't matter, what garnered respect was strength. As long as one was strong enough, even if they're as young as Grey and his friends, they could stand on equal footing with thousand year old masters.

"I've never seen you before, may I ask the reason for your visit?" The man asked, staying vigilant.

He stood in a position that showed that he was blocking Reynolds' entrance into the City.

"I'd like to make use of the teleportation array, if Sir allows it." Reynolds explained, speaking in a respectful manner.

"Oh, I see. If that's all, follow me." The man turned around and led Reynolds into the City, taking him straight to the teleportation array.

Reynolds thanked him and used it without hesitation. The man was more than happy to see Reynolds leave as soon as possible. He didn't feel comfortable with the presence of someone unfamiliar, especially given his strength. He knew some people who achieve success so early in their lives tend to be proud and occasionally rash. Of course, not all of them, but there are some who would try to take advantage of their superior strength.

'I wonder which Family he's from. He only just broke through but his aura is already this powerful.'

The man thought as he looked at the teleportation array. He sensed Reynolds' aura and knew he was only just breaking through to the Sovereign Plane, yet his aura gave the man so much pressure.

"The young stars keep shining brighter."

The man looked at the sky as he remarked. He headed back into his building, disappearing from sight.

No one saw Reynolds enter and leave the City except the City Lord who was the man who stopped him.
