Chapter 349 349 Headache

Shen Yan supported herself up. Yet, she could only walk slowly due to the injury on her foot not being fully healed.

The snow outside was not very heavy now. However, Shen Yan would definitely fall sick if she went out for a walk now. Thus, she could only walk in the corridor.

Fu Hang then accompanied Shen Yan to walk until the end of the corridor. They could see the night scene outside from the window there.

The two of them just stood there and stared at the outside scenery.

As Shen Yan looked outside the window, she seemed to have seen herself by the beach. Moreover, she was glancing at the sea on a stormy night with someone.

“Ah!”

Shen Yan covered her head, and her face was full of agony. Fu Hang looked at Shen Yan and asked anxiously, “What’s wrong?” “I-It hurts!” Shen Yan’s voice trembled. She looked at Fu Hang, and her eyes dimmed instantly.

“Fu Hang, go now!” Shen Yan screamed hysterically. Then, her strength seemed to have been sucked out of her body, and she fainted.

Fu Hang supported Shen Yan swiftly, picked her up, and walked toward the ward.

Then, he pressed the bell and called the doctor over.

“Doctor, what happened to her? She said that her head hurts just now, and then she fainted,” Fu Hang stated nervously. The doctor examined Shen Yan carefully and found nothing wrong with her. Finally, he came to a conclusion, “It seems that we have to do a CT scan of her brain.”

Fu Hang looked at Shen Yan uneasily, then at the doctor, and nodded in agreement.

After the doctor finished the CT scan of Shen Yan’s brain, he looked at the report and implied, “There’s nothing wrong with her brain. You don’t have to worry.”

“But she just said that she has a headache.” Fu Hang frowned as he looked at the doctor.

“She can stay in the hospital for a few more days of observation. We’ll do another thorough check-up if her head still hurts. Else, you don’t have to worry if she’s feeling fine,” the doctor responded seriously.

Shen Yan was sent back to her ward. Fu Hang stood beside her bed and looked at her anxiously. He reached out and held Shen Yan’s hand.

Fu Hang gently planted a devout kiss on the back of Shen Yan’s hand. He looked at her and hoped that she would recover sooner.

Just then, Fu Hang seemed to have thought of something and took out his phone to call his mentor.

After his call with his mentor, he felt that Shen Yan’s headache was most likely due to the premonitions of remembering the past.

However, what his mentor said made him very uneasy. “No one will think of remembering their once erased memories. Except if, someone tried to recall those memories for them forcefully. I believe it’s best to seal her previous memories again, and only after her emotions have stabilized can her memories be awakened.”

“Teacher, then when can her memories be awakened again?”

“At least five years.”

Five years.

Fu Hang frowned as he thought about this. He looked at Shen Yan lying on the bed, and his eyes were bloodshot. After pondering for a long time, he finally made up his mind.

The next morning, the sky outside had already cleared up when Shen Yan woke up.

Chen Nian saw that Shen Yan had woken up and smiled at her. “Yanyan, you’re awake. What do you want to eat for breakfast? I’ll go buy it.”

Hearing this, Shen Yan smiled and looked at Chen Nian. She glanced around the ward and did not see anyone else. She felt somewhat strange, but she quickly regained her sense and said with a smile, “Porridge.”

After Chen Nian conversed with her a little more, she quickly headed outside.

Shen Yan sat on the hospital bed and tilted her head to look at the sunlight outside.

Just then, the door opened again. Fu Hang walked in wearing a suit. Shen Yan’s gaze fell on his face. She remembered that she had fainted yesterday, and she felt hesitant to speak.

Fu Hang sat beside her bed and stared at Shen Yan. “Does your head still hurt?” Shen Yan shook her head. “It doesn’t hurt anymore.”
