This foundation site does not exist in the real world, but in the space of Su Mu's mind.

There are two common types of Foundation facilities:

Site: The Site in Foundation facilities is a hidden facility, which means that the existence of the facility is known to the public. Such facilities usually have a government or subsidiary background disguise.

Sites are usually established close to population centers and therefore require this type of disguise.

Area: Areas within Foundation facilities are classified facilities, meaning that their existence is unknown to the public.

Areas are usually built far away from population centers and contain high-risk anomalies; most Areas have extreme fail-safe measures, such as built-in Alpha nuclear warheads.

The following are the component facilities:

Sector: A Sector is a part of a Site or Area that is built for a specific purpose, such as containment, research, or storage.

The exact purpose of a Sector varies from facility to facility and depends on the facility's primary use and size. (For example, if it is built around an immovable SCP, the SCP can be built as large as the facilities are, and the level is not limited.)

Unit (containment area): Unit is an independent containment area within the Site or Area, which contains biological, chemical or dimensional anomalies such as , and is designed to be self-sealing in the event of a containment breach or other disaster event. All personnel entering and exiting the Unit must undergo complete decontamination procedures.

Observation Points: These are a large number of small facilities located around the world.

Typically only a small building or a unit within a larger building, observation points are often used to listen for flagged content in local communications, as well as to monitor nearby Foundation facilities. Many observation points are used as secure communications centers or as safe houses for lurking Foundation agents.

Site-09 is a comprehensive site that integrates containment, research, data backup, etc. And the facility is not in the universe so it cannot be located.
