Online Games: Start as an Emperor
Chapter 1473
Lu Yan had a close relationship with Bodhidharma.
Originally thought he would be in Florida.
But I didn't expect that the other party would be born here.
One Buddha.
Philosophers.
How could the Yun Kingdom not be strong?
Moreover, Bodhidharma's Dharma is profound and possesses the magical power of subduing dragons and tigers.
At the same time, with superb martial arts, he created the seventy-two unique skills of Shaolin.
In history, he is a famous and peerless figure.
Lu Yan waited quietly.
His most profound impression of Bodhidharma was when he faced the wall for nine years and finally realized Zen Buddhism.
In the third year of Xiaochang in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Bodhidharma arrived at the Shaolin Temple. After arriving at the Shaolin Temple, Bodhidharma spent nine years facing the wall in a natural stone cave on the upper part of the middle peak of Wuru Peak at the western foot of Songshan Mountain, not far from the top.
He was in this cave, facing the stone wall, sitting there upright, with his legs crossed, his hands making Amitabha seals, his eyes looking down, and his five hearts facing the sky in concentration. After attaining concentration, he stood up and did some walking activities to exercise his body. After recovering from fatigue, he sat in meditation again.
In this way, I practiced zazen for nine years.
Finally, he realized a Buddhist teaching that could be accepted by people in the Central Plains: Eastern Zen Buddhism. Zen does not need words to explain it. As long as you understand your own mind, you can achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha.
Therefore, even if some masters do not know a single word, it does not prevent them from becoming masters. For example, the later Master Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, was illiterate, but he recited a poem that can be called a high-level summary of Zen Buddhism:
Bodhi has no tree, and the mirror is not a stand; there is nothing in the beginning, so how can it cause dust.
He uses"sudden enlightenment" to describe Zen Buddhism, which emphasizes inner understanding and clarity anytime and anywhere.
During this period of time in Shaolin, he passed down seventy-two unique skills, which became the foundation of Shaolin's prosperity for hundreds of years.
In Zhongzhou, East China Sea, there is a branch of Shaolin Temple.
In addition to Shaolin Temple, there are Dalin Temple, Fanyin Temple, Prajna Temple, Fuhu Temple, Black Tiger Temple and other temples in the East China Sea.
All belong to Buddhism.
Some hosts and senior officials came all the way from Florida to preach and build temples.
Lu Yan established a dynasty.
His goal was the city, not the temple.
As long as the city is captured and the opponent's territory is occupied, these temples, gymnasiums, academies, etc. will all belong to the Yun Kingdom.
Lu Yan paid little attention to these temples and the like.
These temples have their own martial arts.
Moreover, the temple has another feature.
That is to say, the gates are closed in troubled times, but the incense is blooming in prosperous times.
In troubled times, the door is closed and one cannot go down the mountain.
Open the door in the prosperous times and gather incense.
There are many wars in Yanhuang Continent.
Although these temples do not close their doors tightly, they do not care about the affairs of the world.
As long as some refugees ask for help, they will lend a helping hand and help.
After helping, you will let the other person leave.
The Buddha saves people who are destined to him, but does not cause trouble.
These temples all have inheritance and their own signature martial arts.
He is also very famous in the world of martial arts.
It’s just that after becoming a temple in the Yun Kingdom, it must be supervised by the six gates.
Don't kill animals indiscriminately.
Otherwise, we will be greeted by a large army pressing down on the border.
The martial arts of Prajna Temple is"Prajna Palm" among the seventy-two unique skills of Shaolin.
Very powerful.
Cultivation is also very difficult.
Without certain thoughts, you will definitely not be able to cultivate.
Moreover, practicing Prajna Palm is very difficult and requires a lot of hardship.
The unique skill of Dalin Temple is the"burning wood sword technique".
The food at Dalin Temple is also the best in the world.
There are many great chefs in the kitchen.
Don't look down on me, but your cooking skills are superb.
Unfortunately, there is no meat in it, only vegetarian food.
It is a world-famous food gathering place.
Many people who like cooking went there and were defeated.
Dalin Temple happens to be within the original territory of Yu State, and is now under the governance of Chen Ping.
There are many legends left by Bodhidharma. He is a god, not a person.
It is said that when Bodhidharma crossed the Yangtze River, he did not cross the Yangtze River by boat, but broke a reed on the river bank and stood on the reed to cross the river.
There is still a stone inscription depicting Bodhidharma crossing the river with a reed in Shaolin Temple. Regarding the explanation of crossing the river with a reed, Confucianists have different opinions. They believe that a reed is not a single reed, but a large bundle of reeds.
Another theory about the crossing of the river with a reed is that after the dialogue between Bodhidharma and Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty, Emperor Wu of Liang felt deeply regretful. After learning the news of Bodhidharma's departure, he immediately sent people on mules to chase him. When they chased to the middle of Shogun Mountain, the peaks on both sides suddenly closed, and the group was caught between the two peaks.
Bodhidharma was walking to the river when he saw someone coming. He broke a reed and threw it into the river. It turned into a small boat and floated across the river.
To this day, people still call the peak of Shogun Mountain Jiamulue Peak, and the cave at the northern foot of the mountain where Bodhidharma rested is called Bodhidharma Cave.
The Yiwei Hall in Changlu Temple today was built to commemorate Bodhidharma’s visit to Changlu Temple after crossing the river.
After Bodhidharma"crossed the river with a reed", he stopped at Changlu Temple in the north of the Yangtze River, and then went to Dingshan to stay in the Zen Temple and practice facing the wall.
Dingshan Temple still has the"Dharma Rock""、""Banquet Sitting Stone", Bodhidharma Portrait Stele and other relics.
Among them, the Bodhidharma Portrait Stele is the earliest Bodhidharma statue stele in China, which is more than 120 years earlier than the Patriarch Stele in Songshan Shaolin Temple. Dingshan Temple has become an important jungle of Zen Buddhism and is known as"Dharma". The first dojo of Mount Mo."
