Month-end summary

2023 is over and 2024 is here.

The novel has been on the shelves for three months. This month, it was featured on a best-seller selection. The novel successfully obtained the premium badge. The average price is now almost 4000, around 3900.

So far, the novel's performance has completely exceeded my expectations, and I didn't expect it to be so profitable.

I don’t write full-time. In fact, when I write, I just feel itchy.

The first book I wrote was about cultivating immortals, and I signed a contract, but no one read it, and I couldn’t keep writing. I kept getting single-digit subscriptions, and it just… ended.

The second book was about the entertainment industry, but I wrote about a heroine. I really didn’t know how to write about love, so I ended up writing it as a career story. Inexplicably, it was liked by many people, and I wrote more than three million words in one go. The month is coming to an end and I have gained a lot of experience.

The third book was purely intended to be a suspense story, but it ended up being a mess and different from the other. But it was indeed an improvement compared to the first book. Although it went in various directions, at least it pulled a net and ended the story.

The fourth book, which is this one, is really a suicide attempt. I changed my writing style to another one. I applied for a contract after writing 100,000 words, but it failed. I had no choice but to delete the book and change it to this large size. I originally thought it would be difficult to write it. Don’t waste 100,000 words. Maybe you can get different results by relying on old readers.

Well, I really got the result... I would like to thank the editor of Good Luck for his discerning eye and sending the notice of signing the contract very early (so, an old author who has written books does still have some advantages), and then, on PK, I didn’t pass the first round, and I felt cold, but I was revived. After the second round, I didn’t have much hope of advancing, so I just chose to put it on the shelves.

After it was put on the shelves, oh, more than 370 first orders! I am so elated, you probably can’t understand how happy a transparent author like me is with this data.

What's more, I didn't expect that the collection and average subscriptions have been increasing. Moreover, it was recommended by the editor in early November, and this month it was listed on the best-seller selection, reaching the 4,000 average subscription mark in one breath.

I don’t know what to do except write the story conscientiously.

So, a part-time author is revising the ending of "I Became a Scandal Heroine Overnight" (the content has been written, but needs a little revision) while writing this book and keeping it updated daily. Isn't it tiring? ? To be honest, I didn’t feel too tired, but rather excited.

Just because someone likes it is the source of motivation!

The end of this year has given me a surprise. I hope that in 2024, you will be able to reap your surprises just like the surprises you gave me!
