Murcielago (Bat) is Audi's first product after getting involved in Lamborghini and was designed by Gandini. The Murcielago's lines are rigid yet sleek, with a strong sense of the times. It has elements necessary for a modern supercar, especially the air intake design next to the engine, which will naturally rise when the car is in motion, further enhancing the Murcielago's sporty feel.

The first car rolled off the assembly line in the spring of 2006. Since the prototype of the 2001 Bat was unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA), 2,000 Bats have traveled around the world from Sant'Agata Bolognese, where Lamborghini is headquartered.
