There are three main grapes used in the winemaking of Ace of Spades Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The quality of the Chardonnay grape gives the Ace of Spades Champagne its lively character; Pinot Noir adds strength and structure to the champagne, and makes the taste of the Ace of Spades Champagne more layered; Pinot Meunier adds to the Ace of Spades Champagne Champagne offers a rounded taste, subtle aromas and rich fruit flavours. These grapes are picked from the first and grand cru vineyards in the Champagne region.

In terms of brewing, Ace of Spades Champagne is completed by a team of only 8 people from picking to bottling. It is the only purely artificial champagne in the world. The grapes are picked manually and pressed using traditional methods to produce blended wines of outstanding quality and distinctive personality. Each bottle of Ace of Spades Champagne is a cuvée blended from three unique wines from an exceptional vintage. Afterwards, the Ace of Spades Champagne will be aged slowly in the deepest underground cellar in the Champagne region, and rehydrated using Cartier’s family secret recipe, so that the Ace of Spades Champagne contains the best vintages of its private vineyards.
