Aston Martin (AstonMartin) Automobile Company is located in Gayton, England. The company mainly produces convertible station wagons, racing cars and limited edition sports cars. Aston Martin was founded in March 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Benn.

It was acquired by Ford of the United States in 1987. In 2007, Prodrive boss David Richards purchased the Aston Martin brand from Ford for $925 million. In 1994, Aston Martin became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company.
