Douyu TV is a barrage live streaming sharing website that provides users with live video and live event streaming services. Douyu TV, formerly known as ACFUN live broadcast, was officially renamed Douyu TV on January 1, 2014. Douyu TV mainly focuses on live game broadcasting, covering entertainment, variety shows, sports, outdoor and other live broadcast content.

On March 15, 2016, Douyu TV announced that it had received more than $100 million in Series B financing led by Tencent, and at the same time, Series A investors Sequoia Capital and Nanshan Capital will continue to invest. On August 15, Douyu Live completed the C round of financing of 1.5 billion yuan, led by Phoenix Capital and Tencent, and the cumulative financing amount of Douyu in 2016 exceeded 2 billion yuan. In 2017, Douyu became the first online live broadcast platform in China to enter the D round.
