The McLaren P1 is a supercar with over 900 horsepower, a 100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.8 seconds, a computer-limited top speed of 350 km/h, and an unlimited top speed of 380 km/h. The car will be powered by a 3.8LV8 engine with a maximum power of 737 hp, with an additional 179 hp through the KERS kinetic energy recovery system, which is already used in Formula 1 cars.

The McLaren P1 Concept made its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in late September 2012.

In terms of appearance, the McLaren P1 Concept borrows the design language of the MP4-12C, and incorporates new design elements into the new car, with little difference between the production version of the McLaren P1 and the concept model.
