The imperial architect of the Ming Dynasty was in charge of the design and construction of the Ouchi building. In the Ming Dynasty, fires often broke out in the Forbidden City, and the first three halls and the last three halls were sometimes unavoidable. The middle and the Baohe hall in the first three halls of the existing Forbidden City were rebuilt by Feng Qiao in the 42nd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. Liang Jiu, the builder of the Taihe Hall in the first three halls of the Forbidden City, was his apprentice.
